Jack Reacher walks alone. Once a go-to hard man in the US military police, now he’s a drifter of no fixed abode. But the army tracks him down. Because someone has taken a long-range shot at the French president. Only one man could have done it. And Reacher is the one man who can find him.
Lee Child is one of my favorite authors, and I love his Jack Reacher series. However, this one was disappointing compared to Child’s other Reacher adventures. The mystery was not as interesting, the fights not as exciting, there was less humor, and the female lead, Casey Nice was somewhat boring. Hopefully his next book will reach the high bar set by his earlier novels like Tripwire and Running Blind.
Lee Child has always been a good read.
Too far fetched
Not as good as some others of his.
Not my favorite Jack Reacher boo9k, a good one none-the less.
Lee Child has done better, much better. Instead of the usual fight for right and glory this one is tangled up in don’t get mad get even. Didn’t like it.
Terrible book, made me miss sleep, chores went undone, didn’t talk with anyone…. Until it was done. Lee Child is brilliant at leading you through situations and making a lot of sense. Needless to say, the ending was a shocker. I have come to know Jack Reacher just lately and I am afraid he is addicting. Read at your own peril!
Reacher is always a great read!!!
This is probably the worst Lee Child book I have ever read. It seemed to me like he was being paid per word because the dialogue was such a yawn, I was amazed that I finished the book. I have read a lot of his books, but this was the worst.!
good Reacher book
This book had everything you expect from.a Reacher novel, and more!
Lee Child is a master and I enjoy every single Jack Reacher story to the max!
The Jack Reacher stories by Lee Child are all terrific!
Another very readable Lee Child book. All the Jack Reacher books are spellbinding and can’t be put down until finished!
It was a good book like all Jack Reacher books
Always a good read.
I enjoyed this Jack Reacher story, which takes place mostly in London, England, and Paris, France, and the U.S. If you like Jack Reacher, you’ll like this one.
I’m a big Child and Jack Reacher fan and have read 11 of the series so far. Always enjoyable even if plots are bit repetitive but always entertaining. I highly recommend for Lee Child or other action fans.
I’ve read every Reacher book more than once. Favorites more than twice. I truly enjoy the character, his talents and traits, and the writing style of Lee Child. This is my least favorite one, however. Out of respect for all the others I give it 4 stars. Had it not been a true Reacher novel, I would have given it 3 stars at best.
I’m sorry I stopped listening to this story at chapter 6 because it didn’t grab my interest.
