Fun read!
I had fun reading this book. It had wonderful characters that I would love to visit again in Paxton Park
Great story line.

I always enjoy books by J A Whiting. This was a quick read, but kept you reading on to find out the culprit.
Peril in Paxton Park (A Paxton Park Mystery Book 1) by J.A. Whiting
A cozy mystery romance. Lovely setting and believable characters, enough red herrings to keep it interesting. Did not engage me enough to want to read the rest of this series.
No real surprises, but a solid story.
adventurous
I liked this book. Was really entertaining.
Good characters. Interesting. Kinda fun.
Enjoyed the twists and turns.
I would not recommend this book to anyone. It had a weak plot, character development was grossly lacking, there were miscellaneous characters that were introduced yet did not contribute anything to the forward progress of the story. The writing was at a 5th-6th grade level; definitely NOT even of a young adult quality. Find something else to read. This was a waste of time.
good cozy mystery- entertaining get away.
Not very original
No one in this book has an ounce of body fat or any melatonin
Just couldn’t get into it.
My favorite character is the “watch” cat. Cats are often underestimated and not credited for the intelligence they possess.
An okay story line, but I would like to see more character development.
The plot and characters seem to try too hard and, as a result, the book reads like it’s a middle of the pack genre novel.
Unbelievable. A baker finds dead body and along with neighbor becomes a detective. Sometimes you need to suspend disbelief when reading fiction but this was too absurd.
Smelly asked to many questions like she was realh a detective .
