I love this series and was excited to read the anniversary edition. I fell in love with Qurilixen and the characters all over again. I love the simple ceremony and the faith that the men believe in finding their mate.
Nadja is probably the only prospective bride that doesn’t want a princes that are mentioned to be at the ceremony. Everything goes well until she realizes Olek is a prince. Prince Olek is not sure what has changed but knows Nadja is the one for him. Will he be able to convince her?
I always appreciate how the author develops the characters to the point where you really feel like you know them and understand their situation.

An extremely good dragon shifter arranged marriage book! I liked the characters of Olek and Nadja very much and the storyline was interesting and original plus it was well-written and flowed smoothly. Olek was strong and decisive without being overwhelming to Nadja who needed the patience he showed her to adjust to her new life with him. Nadja was strong and decisive in her own way while also exhibiting her compassionate and caring nature when she makes a bold move to save Olek from any danger that could come his way through his association with her. An enthralling and entertaining book!

A good story set in an interesting and imaginative world. I liked the paranormal aspects of the story. I wasn’t a great fan of hers though. I understood she wanted a different life from what she had but she sure didn’t act like she deserved it.
I requested a copy of this book so I could provide an honest review.

When Nadja dares to escape her father’s grasp – and an engagement she doesn’t want – she finds herself volunteering as a bride, headed to a primitive planets for a wedding ritual she barely understands. Prince Olek only knows that he’s found his destined bride…
I very much enjoyed this second visit to the Qurilixen World and the dragon shifters who live there. This book takes place at the same time as the first book in the series, but the perspectives are different enough that only a slight bit of the story seems repetitive. The characters are all fun, but Nadja steals the show in this volume, and the development of her relationship with Olek was never dull, and upon occasion very heated. Marriage to a prince isn’t at all what Nadja expected or planned, and to come to terms with her new reality – and her husband – takes time. Olek has his own hidden depths, but they do seem very much meant for each other. Readers get intriguing glimpses of the other princes and their wives as well. Pillow has created a very neat series, but more, a very good romance –with the focus on the romance. Readers will be pleased with this entry in the series, I believe! (Oh, and if you haven’t read book one, I truly believe this book could be read and understood on its own, though I do think it would be best enjoyed read as a series.)

Entertaining and immersive sci-fi romance full of mystery, suspense and adventure. The storyline is sweet and has an excellent pacing. Nadja and Olek are well written main characters that are engaging and witty.
Stunning, Lively and totally absorbing! Miss Pillow has created a masterpiece! Welcome to the Qurilixen World. This world is filled with any and everything you need or may want! Each book can be read as a stand alone but I highly recommend this whole series!

Pure entertainment! I love the Dragon Lord Series, and I especially loved reading this book the second time around! I don’t often read a book more than once, although I am finding that I get so much more out of them the second time through. It’s like visiting old friends, and discovering new ones. A great escape, or a perfect way to end the evening! On to the next in the series …

This is the second book in the series but it takes place at the same time as the first book, but don’t worry if you haven’t read that one because they can both be read as standalone stories. Olek is a Prince, the youngest son and works hard as the Ambassador for his people and he wants a bride to be by his side and make his life complete.
Nadja is running from a marriage arranged by her father, she doesn’t want to be found so she finds Galaxy Brides and hopes to be able to find a husband of her choosing, someone normal and hardworking, somewhere where her father will never find her. These two are paired together without knowing each other’s history until after the wedding, how will she feel when she learns he’s a Prince?
I liked the characters and the way the relationship developed.
An anniversary edition that leaves you wanting to immediately read the next book, or reread this one until the next is released. It is not often you get so lost in a book that you are shocked when it ends, but you do with this book.
Exactly as described in the book blurb, the addition of exceptional depth and detail takes it beyond the outline and into something simply outstanding.

Sacrificial Love
Michelle M. Pillow’s second book in her ‘Dragon Lords’ series is magnificent! It has mystery, adventure, suspense and steamy romance. Olek and Nadja, the main characters, have been destined by the gods to be together. But there are so many obstacles in their way that it doesn’t seem like they will ever consummate their marriage. This was an exciting book to read. Highly recommended and definitely a MUST read!
I am a great admirer of Michelle’s writing and I love dragon shifters so was looking forward to reading this book. Another Qurilixen World / Dragon Princes novel. This one is about Prince Olek and Nadja Aleksander a woman who escaped her unwanted arranged marriage in order to find freedom. However things didn’t work out as she hoped. A really interesting, well written and sexy story which keeps you reading and turning the page to see what happens next.

This was a very captivating read
Nadja and Olek are fated mates and this book is a steamy and fun filled read filled with attitude and action which is totally engaging. Nadja is on the run from her Mafia Boss father who heads the medical team and she knows that should he capture her she will never be free.
When she comes into contact with an alien ship she meets warriors that are looking for a bride, she is chosen by the Prince and at first she cannot tolerate him, his ways or his attitude. She agrees to a match and is matched to Olek who is nit very talkative and then she discovers that Var the King is planning to do something to the princesses, they had better be on their toes and sleep with one eye open!!

I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.
Nadja, forced into an arranged marriage by her criminal father, had to escape. She joined the Galaxy Brides ship headed to Qurilixan for their Breeding Festival to find a simple common man, such as a miner or farmer, and hide in obscurity so her father would never find her. Instead, she was chosen by Prince Olek, the royal ambassador she thought was just a normal Draig.
Nadja and Olek are paired but it is not a smooth relationship at the beginning. But Olek is patient with her and starts to bring Nadja around to acceptance until she discovers he is a dragon shifter. When Nadja realizes her father has found her, she pushes Olek away to keep him safe and looks for her father to turn herself over to him. But Olek refuses to lose her after they were making progress on their marriage. Can he get his wife back and protect her from this dangerous and powerful man?
The story line was good and Olek was the perfect choice for Nadja. He had the patience to make her comfortable with him, and she gets her very own dragon! (sigh) Grab your copy and experience their growing relationship and what he does to protect his mate.
Great read even the second time around with wonderful main characters Olek and Nadja. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
