A heartbreakingly stunning journey of forgiveness and learning to love again.
Hailey’s world has been shattered. Finding out the life she had was all a lie. She up and moves to the country. A new place is just what she needs to begin her healing process.
Jensen has had his fair share of heartbreak. The only person his walls come down for is his precious daughter.
No words seem to convey the feelings I have for this book. Stunning, spectacular, remarkable, exquisite, devastatingly beautiful. Those are just some of the words I would use to describe this amazing book, and they don’t do this story justice!
I was drawn so deeply into this story. I felt like I was walking this journey with the characters. I felt their pain, their hurt, their healing, and ultimately their joy.
I was already a huge fan of Natasha’s writing, but this, this was so much more. You feel a sense of family. It would make a broken person feel worthy and whole.
Absolutely outstanding! An absolute MUST READ!!! Bring the tissues!
This book was amazing and had me hooked from the start. It was one of those books that you can’t wait to get to the end to see what happens but then also curse when you get to the end because that means it’s over. Once I finished it I immediately got the next one in the series to read.
Perfect Love Story is a unique story. One that grabbed me right from the start.
When Hailey’s world is turned upside down, she has the support of her best friend/cousin, Crystal. They both uproot their lives and set out to find a new start.
Jensen is such a grumpy, grouchy jerk that I did not want to like him at all. Little Mila is such a sweety and she sort of forces her dad and Hailey together! They really find a way to heal each other.
-5 Stars!-
Perfect Love Story is truly the best title for this book as it is PERFECT. Once again Natasha Madison has slayed me and blown me away!!!! Jensen and Hailey’s story is a compelling journey of two damaged souls brought together by the tragic events that have taken place in their lives. It’s also a story of betrayal, lies, romance, beautiful and passionate love. Jensen and Hailey’s connection and ability to overcome obstacles is amazing. It touched my heart in so many ways and I shed many tears while reading it.
The plot is genius and so engaging that I didn’t want to let this book go. I was so invested and the angst had me on the edge of my seat. Just when I thought I knew what was going to happen, Natasha Madison throws in a curve ball.
If you are looking to read an unforgettable story then this is definitely the book for you.
Be still, my beating heart…
Natasha Madison has become one of my all-time favorite authors ever since I discovered her books early last year (still can’t believe I didn’t find this amazing lady sooner)! So let’s just say the moment she announced her upcoming series I *ran* over to Goodreads and quickly added them all to my never ending TBR list because there is no way I was passing up these books!
Perfect Love Story is the first book in the Love series and the PERFECT introduction to this new addictive series! The moment I started this story I knew there was NO WAY I was putting it down until I reached the end. It was such an incredible read that my heart was consumed by the words and I was hooked in right from the very start. Oh and don’t even get my started on those OH MY FREAKING GOODNESS SHOCK-WORTHY moments in the beginning chapters.
Hailey and Jensen are two broken and lost souls that were destined to be each other’s happily ever after. They both had to experience that overwhelmingly heartbreaking pain in order to find one another because LIFE is cruel, but love doesn’t always have to be. Their story is a PERFECT LOVE and one that will be near and dear to my heart for years to come!
I might have only finished this book yesterday morning, but I am already eagerly anticipating the next story in this standalone series and counting down the days until I can have it in my hands! Incredible introduction Natasha Madison and a 5+ star read hands down!
Wow just wow what an emotional read!! This book starts out just ripping you apart and hits you with a shock and awe moment that you just want believe!!! That would shake anyone to their core and that’s exactly what it does to Hailey. Walker has something painful happen to him. Something that keeps him pushing people away. Two broken people one broken house and the waves of an ocean, can they heal each other? This book was just absolutely perfect! From the writing to the characters to the secondary characters to everything!! Once I started reading this book I was up til 2 in the morning reading it I couldn’t put it down, I was truly vested in it. I had to know how everything turned out. And I’m truly excited for the next book as well!! I highly highly recommend this book!!! – By Tina
What an awesome story. Natasha Madison always surprises me and this one, totally unexpected.
Hailey had the perfect life according to her. Newly married her husband was just perfect. And then one day he had an accident and he died. On top of mourning her husband and the life she could have had, Hailey found out that he was not the perfect man she thought he was. Secrets and lies are exposed and Hailey is left broken.
On her grandmother’s advise she sells her house and moves with her best friend and cousin Crystal on a new adventure and a new home.
On her new adventure she meets Jensen. A single dad dealing with his own hurt and loss. A Rocky start to their relationship and a sort of hate-love relationship starts. But before long both of them can’t deny that they have something between them. Can they let go of their pasts and hurts to start a new life, happiness and love together?
A sweet romantic heart breaking story that will make you seriously fall in love with this author. I loved everything about it. The story, the characters and the hope of a second chance at love.
I can’t wait to read the rest in this series
REVIEW: 4 STARS
“Bad things don’t happen when it’s sunny outside, right?”
SOOO…..the tagline on this book was an immediate draw for me. Immediate. Because, if you look at that, how can you not be curious. Check out this tagline:
“When one man’s death exposes a complex web of lies, three couples discover the true meaning of love, loss and redemption.”
Right?? You’re curious, right? I know the first thing that grabbed me was that tagline, but once I actually got into the story, I was hooked. To be fair, I realized right away it was a very different writing style. Not heavy, but very laid back, super easy to follow and I really enjoyed it. There were some really good emotional parts in this book, but the lighter side of it propelled the storyline for me. I really enjoyed the pace and the fact that she told this story as quick as she did. It’s not a long read, and it’s not necessarily a deep read…it’s just a well rounded, easy to read, fun story! It was very enjoyable and quite addicting as well!!
NM writes in a quick, no nonsense kind of way and she gets the story out without dragging anything out, and I appreciated that aspect of it. It didn’t feel stagnant at all, and the characters were very relatable. Between Hailey’s upheaval and Jenson’s backstory, this one was ripe for some
I think my only issue I saw with this one was that she wrote with hindsight instead of foresight. And what I mean by that is sometimes there was a scene/action/reaction, but no true buildup to it. It was almost as if an action/reaction was an afterthought, and she threw it in there to add a little bit of storyline. It’s not bad…it was just a different aspect to my reading of this story. Like, why did we see this bowl appear, but we didn’t get to see it happen or it wasn’t discussed? Simple, mundane things like that. I know it will make more sense once you read it, but that stuck out to me a lot while I was reading this book. But again, cute and very fun to read. I really enjoyed this story and cannot possibly wait for the next two books in this series.
All I can say with conviction is THIS STORY WAS A GREAT, LIGHT STORY. Easily, easily recommend this to anyone that wants a fast paced, quick read that has some great storytelling in it. Even though the tagline is what made me want to read this series of books, I can honestly say I am now addicted to this group of characters and cannot wait to read each individual story. I will admit, she set up the second book really well with this first one and that makes me all the more giddy!!
“I had to have the two worst days of my life to have the best days of my life to come.”

Look in all honesty I have no idea where to start with my review for Perfect Love Story. It’s been such a long time since I’ve had a novel with such a magnetic emotional pull, that it’s completely captured my heart and soul and left me speechless.
But this novel has.
We meet Hailey.
Young, successful, married to the love of her life, a beautiful home.
She has everything a girl could ever dream of.
Her life is complete.
But it all changes in a blink of an eye.
It all changes when Hailey realizes that her whole life was a lie.
Hailey’s world crumbles when she realizes that her husband was never really her husband at all.
Hailey, once a young, vibrant woman with dreams becomes a shell of her former self. Broken, alone, hurt and angry, Hailey makes the decision to leave her once happy home, uproot and move to find herself again.
But what she finds was the last thing she ever expected.
We meet Jensen.
Young, successful, married to the love of his life, a beautiful home and one adorable little girl.
His life is complete.
But it all changes in a blink of an eye.
It all changes when Jensen’s wife, his soul mate leaves a note.
It all changes when Jensen realizes that his wife has left him for another man.
But what makes it worse is that not only did she walk out on Jensen, but she walked out on a precious little girl….Mila.
Broken, alone, and now a single father Jensen makes the decision to stay away from love and make sure that Mila is taken care of.
She is his priority.
But everything in Jensen’s world is about to change.
Everything Jensen fought so hard for will crumble in a nanosecond.
Everything will change when Hailey and Jensen’s worlds collide.
Guys I am coming up short here, so I guess I will leave you with this….
Never underestimate the power of an authors words when you first pick up a novel.
Never underestimate the emotional pull that you will feel.
Never underestimate the feelings that are evoked when you turn every page.
Natasha Madison has created sheer perfection with this novel and it will stay with me always.
A truly beautifully written, heart breaking, soul crushing, breathtaking read.
5 stars.
Just based on the synopsis you know that the story is going to be full of emotions and drama and while there are plenty of them in the book it is done is a balanced way so it’s not overwhelming at all. This is a phenomenal book and a great and promising start to this tightly interwoven series.
I loved everything I read from the author so far; she has a phenomenal writing style. But truthfully after reading just the first chapter it scared me a bit because the emotion just didn’t come through for me in the way I know Natasha Madison capable of conveying them. For me the first chapter felt more like a generic, template version of the events you would expect happening after the such a tragedy. It just didn’t work for me. However I didn’t give up and the second chapter proved to be so much better. In came the drama and the angry emotions and from that point on I loved the story. It was a bit strange because the plot overall was so much calmer, less dramatic and quietly emotional than I would have expected it but it presented an enchanting story. It felt natural and the flow of the events was so engaging. Still it is also a bit surprising since it a romance novel but the actual romance part comes into play quite late in the book. I think this pattern that the Perfect love story followed starting to get my new fave trope because it was the third similar 5 star read this week that followed it.
The characters were all so relatable and likeable. I loved Hailey, her quiet strength and caring nature. After the tragedy first she shut down for good reasons but after a swift push from her loved ones started to live again. The way she interacted with Mila and Jensen was so genuine and endearing from the beginning and I especially liked that despite the attraction that was obvious from their first meeting, the actual relationship, and pursuing each other started out just after the right amount of time and conversations. It made the whole romance more believable.
Jensen was an ass in the beginning and while I understood some of his reasoning, being heartbroken doesn’t entitle you to treat complete strangers as he did. But after a clean start he shows a so much more likeable side of his. He is so devoted to his daughter and understanding towards Hailey. The three of them just created the perfect unit. I loved them to pieces.
And then there were the meddling family members and friends, it was a phenomenal bond going on between all of them and I loved to read about their connections. Also there are a lot of snippets about the possible couples of the next two books, but mainly about the next one. It was interesting and something that really made me want to get my hands on them.
There were a couple of things that I felt amiss, but some of them I can’t discuss without spoiling some main events in the story. Without telling to much, there was a bit of an anticlimactic and unexplained drama regarding a character named Norma. It was just a bit strange for me how the solution of that situation was so cut and dry. But if I have to be honest I couldn’t care because the story was awesome with or without it.
The epilogues were really nice and I liked that they span quite long into the future, basically giving us a full closure and a satisfying outcome for the couple. I’m so happy that in the end I took the opportunity to review this book because I just adored it. Perfect love story is a dynamic, emotional but sweet and quick read, with great characters and a beautiful plot.
Wow just wow what an emotional read!! This book starts out just ripping you apart and hits you with a shock and awe moment that you just want believe!!! I loved this book. I loved Hailey and Jensen and both their stories. I loved Mila the little show stealer. This book has so many emotions and feelings. I can’t wait for Crystal and Gabe’s book, BUT I want to know who Blake married????
As soon as I received this book, I read nothing else. Fasted I’ve ever read a book.
Tremendous human interest making the characters very appealing.
~4.5 STARS~
Wow!!! What a way for a book to start out! My heart broke for Hailey. Imagine losing your husband in a horrific accident, and then learning he wasn’t even your legal husband. He was married and had another family! I’m not sure how she put one foot in front of the other at times. She has a hugely supportive family and best friend who suggests she leaves town and moves somewhere else to make a brand new start. Life is mysterious, and her HEA may be closer than she ever thought.
Jensen is also dealing with heartache. The woman he loved and thought he would spend the rest of his life with walks away leaving him to raise their daughter by himself. As you can imagine, he isn’t going to be able to easily trust anyone…especially even his new neighbor, Hailey.
When these two meet for the first time, it’s fireworks and not the good kind. She has moved into the house he built for his ex, and he seems stuck in the past, treating Hailey with disdain because of his ex. Thankfully, he finally he begins letting her in, and she begins trusting again.
As much as this is a romance, it’s also a book on grief and all the stages from anger and sadness. It is full of hope and second beginnings as well. Something terrible happened to both Jensen and Hailey, but if it hadn’t, they never would have found their happily ever after. And, if two people ever deserved joy and love, it was these two.
A Perfect Love Story is an amazing journey of love, lies, betrayal, healing and extreme loss. You will experience all emotions through these characters. You be pulled in and watch as they once again learn how to belief in love and healing . I truly enjoy Natasha’s books and each one overwhelms me with emotions and all of the feels that I love so much !

What a way to start off a story with a bang. Literally. My jaw dropped in the first few pages of this new series by Natasha Madison. Then you get wrapped up in the raw and painful emotions that Hailey has to endure and your heart just shatters for her. I found that I was so drawn into her character that I wanted to cry when she did. Laugh when she did. She was a brilliantly written character who had to endure so much pain all because of one man’s actions. As she tries to rebuild herself back up, enter Jensen. The man who is beyond jaded! The chip on his shoulder is massive, but Hailey slowly breaks that down and get past his defences. Their banter is harsh at times but you could see how Jensen is fighting his attraction to her. Who knew a little sprite like Jensen’s daughter would be the catalyst to opening both of them up?
Overall, I could not put this book down and it is a brilliant read. It has every range of emotion running through it plus amazing chemistry and passion. I giggled at moments and I wanted to smack a certain person at times because she was seriously the wicked witch of the west. You will totally understand when you read this because you HAVE to read this book! I am so looking forward to more in this series!
I’ve got no word to describe this book – so forgive me if I make this short! This stroy deserves 5 perfect »are you gonna kiss me or not?« stars!
This is by far one of the best slow burns that I have EVER read. The story about two broken souls that started to heal once they let their guards down. A story about two people you can’t help but to fall in love.
Everything about it was PERFECT. From the way they met, to the way they started to open up to each other or finally falling in love. This book will make you cry, hate Jensen a bit but only at the beginning, and by the end it will leave you with your heart so full that you’d wish you’d never finish it and that it would go on and on…
I’m developing a deep love for Natasha Madison books I tell you. Amazing writing and I’m super excited for Unexpected Love Story .

First read by this author and first in series.
The worst day of Haileys life is closely followed by the second. A life she lived happily and a love she had cherished, smashed to pieces by the pain and lies.
Looking for a way to mend her soul Hailey ( with her best friend and cousin, Crystal, in tow ) moves away from the memories that torment her.
To a house on the beach, the only plan is to heal her broken soul and find a way to make her way to some kind of happiness.
A chance encounter with a small family of two, a father and his 4 year old daughter is all it takes to start off this perfect love story.
Jenson a broody gruff a**hole who at times I felt really must of had a foot fetish because of the amount of times he put his foot in his mouth! Seemed almost beyond redemption..and his joy filled daughter Mila…his one focus and purpose.. his daughter.
So as per usual me style, I dived into this book, not even reading the blurb..or having a hint at the story other than the title……
Wow was I a happy happy book pimp, this book was a joy to read… even the breathtakingly sad emotionally tormented parts…( go on admit is you know the #HARDFEELS are the best bit!! ) and there are a lot of them…this book is called ‘a perfect love story’ and it is filled with love.. but it’s also about two individuals internal journey and struggle to have enough courage after the worst of betrayals to find the strength to seek that perfect love.
It’s fitting that two broken souls are the way to mend each other, giving all the love to those they adore the most… and this book didn’t shy on those tender feels.. it was generous and moving and wonderfully emotive without being cheesy or soppy. A gripping and enthralling book from the first page and For extended epilogues ( I could kiss the author for those )
I will defiantly be reading more from this author and this series
What a brilliant Start to the new Love Series by Natasha Madison, this is one of the most beautiful love stories I have read, it captivated me, it drew me in and my heart is still trying to recover. I don’t want to give this story away because I have to say this book is A MUST READ and I don’t want to spoil it for you so all I’m just going to tell you is what I loved about it.
In the Perfect Love Story we are taken on a journey and that journey is not all sweetness and light there are times you will cry in fact you will probably sob but I can tell you every tear you shed will be worth it because this love story is beautifully written, I connected with Jensen and Hailey because the hurdles they had to cross felt real. The title really says it all this is The Perfect Love Story with characters that will make you smile as well as cry as their journey unfolds and what can I say about Jensen’s adorable little girl apart from my ovaries just might have exploded. This book is not only a love story it’s also about family and friends who live in a beautiful seaside town where friendships come first. I can’t wait for book 2 in this series, I need to know how life is treating the other couples we got to meet in this wonderful book. Loved this book so much and if I could give it 10 Stars I would because it certainly deserves more than 5 Stars.
Oh yeah that was a goody. Okay so I might have used a few nasty words to describe that turd but you’ll understand once you read it. So from the blurb you get that something really twisted happened and yeah it does and it’s a big one. The book is well written and the author takes her time giving us all of the info but man this was an awesome read. The pain and heartbreak she deals with is more than anyone should have to. The blows he is delivered definitely give them something to talk about.
This author does a great job in laying out the story and yeah it’s the kind of love story you don’t want to live through but for these two it works out well. I haven’t read this author before but she is on my radar now. I can’t wait to see what’s up with Gabe and Crystal, I guess that shows I will be staying around. Great story
