This was a good easy read.
X rated sex & language
Keep your tissues close while reading the first half of this book. This heartwarming tale a two people who have both been horribly betrayed larer takes flight, becoming the perfect love story.
Couldn’t put it down, gripped you from the very beginning
Hailey, her entire world comes crashing down in one moment, one car crash, she thinks it can’t possibly get any worse until she realizes her entire life with her husband was a lie. Needing a change, Hailey and her best friend pick up and start over in a new small town where no one knows her story, she can put herself back together without having the entire town watching.
Jensen he thought he had it all, perfect marriage, just built his dream house and perfect family until it all comes crashing down when his wife leaves him a Dear John letter, leaving him, their two week old daughter and never looking back. Jensen’s daughter Mila is now four and he’s happy, he’s closed off his heart to anyone but his daughter and is content with keeping things that way.
Jensen and Hailey just happen to be neighbors and Jensen is less than happy to have this new woman in town. These two most definitely start off on the wrong foot, multiple times, it’s both heartbreaking and hilarious at times. Once Jensen decides she isn’t all that bad, he’s all in and knows that Hailey may just be the greatest thing that has ever happened to him other than his daughter. I loved seeing their chemistry develop and Jensen turn from being a jerk to rather swoon worthy! Their story may have started out rocky but turns into something beautiful!

Great book but so don’t need the descriptive sex scenes. For me that’s a turnoff.
Perfect Love Story (Love Series Book 1)
By: Natasha Madison 5 Stars
******** May Contain Some Spoilers ********
I will try my absolute best to keep spoilers to a minimum or completely out of my review. Sometimes it can be hard to do so.
This was an emotional and exciting love story. Hailey is a strong woman with her whole life before her. Her husband dies and she finds out his secrets. She has been living a lie. She needs to start over so she moves to the beach with her BF Crystal.
Jensen (Walker) is a single dad of an amazing little girl, Mila. His wife up and left them both with a dear John letter. Jensen owns the house Hailey is renting for a year. Jensen is not happy about that fact and acts like an a**hole.
They are both broken and need each other more than they know. This is a wonderful love story that defeats all odds. This is a HEA ending.
•••••• I highly recommend this book/series! ••••••
Heartrending Beginning
Initially reading just three first couple of pages I didn’t want to read it. In fact, I left the book for a couple of days for a completely different book genre. When I felt strong enough to take it I came back.
Natasha Madison’s style and storytelling is one to be reckoned with. Her characters are 3- dimensional wonders. All of them live complete full lives even without your reading about them. Reading her books is like knowing natural flirtation happens, but being amazed when you stumble upon a new species of tree, plant life or birds. And then, Ms. Madison’s stories are so intense and compelling you (I) wonder how I was able to live without her writing a full life of my own.
This book had me hook, line and sinker after the first couple of pages and the read was filled with tears, laughter and thought- provoking wonder.
Read this book beyond the heartrending beginning, and you’ll be rewarded with a terrific story with characters you’ll fall in love with one page-at-a-time.
I love this story and the characters.
It was difficult to read the early part of this book with a dry eye. For two such wounded people to find one another and ultimately love was great.
Very good book!!tears and smiles!!!
Loved the main characters!!!I was
Pulling for them all the way!!
Good book, likeable characters, happy ending.
Loved this book!!!
The first part of this book delivers. Broken hearts. Lies. Tears. Sadness. Sorrow. Anger.
Follow by laughter, tears of joy, forgiveness, letting go of anger and resentment. Embracing love. Joy. And happiness.
I loved this series
Every time I start a book by this author I wonder how she’s going to top the last one. She never seems to amaze me! I absolutely adored this book and don’t know how I really feel about it in the end ‘cuz it was amazing. From the first chapter I was already crying and my heart ached for what Hailey was going through. The way the story was written, I’m glad my heart healed in the end with her 🙂 To know what I mean you’ll just have to read this book…
Hailey feels the world crashing down around her when her husband suddenly dies but the ground from underneath her will swallow her whole when she learns her life with him was just a lie. When nothing feels right anymore, her family suggests she stays somewhere else for a while to try and find herself again. Even though she doesn’t feel like doing anything, she goes anyway. At this point she’ll try anything just to feel something. When she’s there, being near the ocean seems to soothe something inside her but when she meets Jensen, he’s nothing but awful to her even though his litlle girl takes an instant liking to her. But Jensen has a broken past of his own and walls up high so he won’t let anyone close to him and his daughter. But there’s something about Hailey that draws him to her.
Will Hailey finally get over her ‘loss’ and find herself again? And will Jensen finally let his guard down and try again?…
This is a beautiful story about being lost because of an unplanned detour that life took the characters on and then allowed to find themselves again. Life always gives us detours and challenges us. Some of those detours can be dangerous. It’s how we react to those detours that let us find out about our character. Jensen and Hailey have each suffered such a detour. The love story of Jensen and Hailey didn’t start out all roses. They each had wrong impressions of the other. This is the story of their journey to HEA. Dual point of view. Great secondary characters who undoubtedly will have their own books as well. No cliffhanger.
Perfect Love Story is a quick read with some great characters. I enjoyed the story but I wasn’t blown away. I struggled with Hayley and Jensen because of their lacking chemistry. I was mostly intrigued and interested in Hayley’s brother Blake so I’m glad to know he has his own story in this trilogy. Perfect Love Story started out great but I felt that the cautiousness Jensen felt towards Hayley went on for too long and when they finally got together it was too late in the story and for me to enjoy them as a couple. It just went too fast from that point on. I enjoyed a lot of the secondary characters such as Blake, Brody, Nanny and Delores. Overall a great first book in this series and I’m pretty sure that I’m going to read the remaining two books.
I loved this whole series
I devoured this book in about 3 hours on a rainy Saturday morning…it was just THAT good! Hailey and Jensen…both hurt by the people they loved the most in the world. Both angry and wounded found each other and an epic romance. So so good!
