From the New York Times bestselling author comes a new thrilling dark romance series.
“You’re my rainbow. The brilliant colors of you make me whole. Without your colors, I’m just a man living in the dark.”
Georgie
I lie to survive.
Have since I was sixteen and my world fell into chaos. But I found a way to endure, or rather it found me. Now I’m a prisoner of my own doing, hiding behind a … found me. Now I’m a prisoner of my own doing, hiding behind a false mask so no one sees the truth. Not even the man I want but can’t have—Deck. But I messed up and the lies are spilling over, out of control.
Deck is unrelenting and will settle for nothing less than the truth. He demands everything from me—EVERYTHING—even if it rips me apart.
Deck
I kill for a living.
Unyielding—It’s how I survive in my line of work. I bend people to my will…except Georgie.
But that ends now.
I’ve played her game for far too long. Now it’s time we play mine.

I’ve tried to read this book a few times. Started and stopped. Began and quit. I even tried reading the next book and the same thing. I finished and enjoyed the third one because I didn’t have to go through all of … this. Third time’s the charm though, right?
Okay, so I didn’t give up. I tried to truly suspend my belief so that I could enjoy myself here. But there was just too much to pretend to believe that I got a bit lost along the way. First there was Georgie…
She went from one extreme to the next and all of it followed absolutely no logic. Good girl, in her matching sets, one hairstyle, follows the rules. Then she became a grieving hysterical female who took apart her well-organized life. Then she became someone who volunteered to be cut and then continued to volunteer to be cut and found a way to be picked to a special assassin and then made up a ridiculous cover named ‘Chaos’ and then she continued to make absolutely no sense. It was like a constant loop of crazy and not the fun kind.
The only thing that really kept me going was trying to figure out when Deck and his team would finally figure out what was really going on with Georgie. I wanted to see how they would react and I was super disappointed. If this were real life, she’d be called out. They pretty much took it in stride and I wanted her to be punished. Honestly, if it weren’t for how well this story was written, I probably wouldn’t have finished. It was absurd, the heroine was trash, and the insane amount of ‘coincidences’ had me rolling my eyes way too much! I loved this author’s Tear Asunder series so I know she does phenomenal things with words. If you can bypass the foolishness of the heroine, you’ll find yourself in for a treat of a read!
I LOOOOOVED this book. The story, the Deck and Georgie, their relationship from start till beginning. The hot steamy sex. I loved everything. I cant wait for the next book.
This book was pretty confusing in truth. I did like a lot of the story but a lot of led me all over the place. I want to learn more background about the characters. I felt like the characters lacked something to make them rounded. It was hard to get through the book but there was also a lot of good parts in the book. This is worth a check out when you have nothing else to read.
Brilliant, phenomenal, and absolutely amazing. While reading the Tear Asunder series I couldn’t wait to read Georgie and Decks story. It was awesome. Can’t wait to read the next book. Nashoda knows how to do a plot twist and she does them well!
a decent plot/story.
A Blistering Rollercoaster Ride of Mind Twisting Suspense and Passion…
I am a lover of dark and twisty things. When I come across books with warning labels my interest is immediately peaked. And when I see a double warning promising sexy, disturbing things, well I get a little excited. However, no warning label could have prepared me for the wild, violently soul cracking ride that is this book! As “Perfect Chaos” by Nashoda Rose, evokes a palpable range of emotions so psychologically bruising it will leave you breathless.
The first installment in her Unyielding Riot series. “Perfect Chaos” is the suspenseful, heart wrenchingly soulful story of Deck and Georgie. Deck being a haunted, unyielding man honed into a controlled, calculating, and dangerous individual by years of service within an elite military team. Service that thrusts him into the horrors of the world, hardening him into a professional killer and expert at extracting information by any means possible. A man who instead of healing, builds a security company and continues to hone his unique expertise after a particularly gruesome experience serving overseas that kills his best friend Conner.
And Georgie, a twenty-six year old coffee shop owner, haunted by the death of her brother Conner ten years earlier, killed while serving as a member of his best friend Deck’s elite military JTF2 team. A man Georgie has loved for years. While she is a woman who Deck has sworn to look after and protect. But a promise also difficult to keep as his hidden feelings for Georgie grow. Feelings of unrequited love and deep longing that he knows Georgie feels for him in return, but she, seemingly lost in the throes of alcoholism and erratic behavior, unable to cope with the loss of her brother and Deck’s indifferent, coldness toward her.
However, nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing within the pages of this book are as they appear. And what follows is a literary ride of blistering pace. Page after page, after glorious page you will be stunned, shocked, sickened, and saddened. You will leap with joy at the very foundation of love, trust, and fierce protectiveness Deck and Georgie have for each other. While being simultaneously nauseated by the secrets, lies, and revelations that explode open before you.
Here, Rose writes a riveting, gut punching tale so steeped in pain, rage, and confusion your head and heart will sympathetically ache along side the characters within. So vivid is this story world, so intensely intelligent and twisting is the prose, you will not put this book down until the very last word is done. And even at the end you will remain itching for answers. You will be desperate to know more beyond the veil of what has been presented, and you will move without thinking back into it, checking to see if there are any morsels of information you may have missed.
And the chemistry, my god, the heat between Deck and Georgie simply leaps off the page and scorches you with its intensity. Rose’s descriptive prowess will have you seeing Deck’s possessive glare in your dreams. Hearing his deep, growled commands deep in your belly, invoking involuntarily shivers and sending cold beads of sweat dripping down the length of your spine. It is that good. Holy hell what a ride!

Great book but too many unresolved story lines
Not an easy read. I thought it was very dark. It took me a while to finish it, but I’m glad I stuck with it.
Fabulously unexpected story of adventure spylike nature. Was not expecting it and was totally pulled in. Lioved the story and the characters
