The story of Kofi and Hoyt is interesting. I don’t normally like shifter stories but I gave this one a try. It turned out to be a satisfying read.

This third book in the series didn’t disappoint. I enjoyed reading Hoyt and Kofi’ taboo romance. I thought Hoyt’s attitude in the beginning was a little extreme and Kofi was extremely patient with him. It really showed the alpha’s true feelings for his omega…even though that omega was being a diva drama queen…well he is a ginger…hot tempers and all. With a little patient and understanding everything worked well in the end. It would have been nice if there was an epilogue…I would have loved to see how the lil diva omega handled child birth.

Hoyt Grazianos’ parents had arranged for him to meet a prospective mate. As the Grazianos stood near the door of the café searching the crowd for the Freemans, Hoyt peered through the window and spotted a man with black hair and blue eyes, his jaw hinting at inner strength. Dak Freeman was so much more than Hoyt had dared dream possible and, as their eyes met, the chemistry between them sizzled. But when his family introduced the Freemans, the man he thought/hoped was Dak was not. The young guy he was introduced to had similar features to the man he wanted, but none of the chemistry was there. But their parents had arranged this and they knew best.
Now, trying to build a new life after a failed marriage, Hoyt is determined to open a coffee shop in Bear’s Cove. He found the perfect place for his new business – but it is also where his ex-husband lives. Before he signed the contract, he wanted help looking it over and choosing the best location. He knew Kofi Freeman had experience with leasing due to his extensive travel and working as a leasing agent in one of his many different jobs. So he finally calls him. Kofi, who has continued to love Hoyt and is the reason he stays away so much, is excited to hear from him but worried. Should he help Hoyt and put his own heart at risk of breaking, or risk alienating his brother, Dak? So he told Hoyt he would look at the lease only after Hoyt asked Dak to agree that he had no problem with his opening the business in Bear’s Cove. Hoyt got angry at the further implication he wanted his ex back in any way — even though Hoyt had already asked Chase, Dak’s new husband, if he was okay with it — and he hung up.
Hoyt stays angry toward Kofi despite Kofi’s numerous attempts to apologize and try again. Will Hoyt ever take him back? Will it take a little surprise to get Hoyt to come to his senses?
Aside from my absolute dislike of BDSM elements and spanking scenes, which I felt were completely unnecessary even in small doses, the story was well-written and I enjoyed both the story line and the characters. I look forward to more in this series.
Second time’s a charm! When he had his initial introduction to the Freeman’s, he felt the pull to a man who was not his intended, Dak. When the man looked away with presumed rejection, Hoyt broke and accepted his parents direction out of obligation to his family and his community. Now divorced, Hoyt wants to open a coffee shop, Perfect Blend in Bear’s Cove. Kofi, coveted his brother’s husband, and moved away to preserve his sanity. Hoyt is single again and asks for his help understanding a contract. He returns to Bear Cove to help Hoyt. He is tempted and dips his wick, then is severely attacked by his conscience. He hides behind his loyalty to his family and apologizes. Hoyt rejects his apology. Can they ever get on the same page? What does Dak think? What does Charles think? Will Hoyt open the coffee shop? Will Kofi make his move? What do Hoyt’s dads say? Great story. Absolutely enjoyable. Hoyt sounds like a fun Omega, Kofi is noble. It was good to see Charles, Dak and baby Ezra. Nicely done! Sweet, and sassy and awkward, oh my!
This was a really fun read. Kofi and Hoyt have an interesting past. And you really aren’t supposed to get with your brother’s ex, are you? When you feel betrayed and lose trust in someone what does it take to get it back?
Well written, great chemistry, interesting plot, snarky and sassy omega goodness, with a sweet and patient alpha.
Well written, I like the draw of it. The characters are likable. This is a new to me author and im interested to see what else they put out. Its worth a shot.

This was my first time reading this author and it wont be my last. I really enjoyed thos story and it was very well written. I loved the chemistry between both characters and how real they seemed even for it being an omegaverse story. This had it’s sweet, fluffy and steamy moments and there were also some emotional ones. Kofe spent the last 10 years wanting something he thought he could never have, his brother’s omega. That was until his brother found his happily ever after else where and the omega practically landed right in his lap. He wasn’t going to waste the opportunity in finally making the omega his. There wasn’t much angst here, mostly cute and sweet. I read pretty angsty stuff though so I may not know what low angst is anymore. The couple does struggle with some issues of misunderstanding and pride but eventually get past that bringing you to a great hea.
At first, I didn’t like Hoyt. I thought he was obnoxious irrational and annoying. Because I didn’t like him, I didn’t like the story – in the beginning. I was going to stop reading but I decided to read a few more chapters because I really liked Kofi. And I’m glad I did.
I understood Hoyt better, therefore I had sympathy and understanding for his reactions to and his treatment of Kofi. I loved the angst and I laughed at the rejoinders. And I thought the ending was perfect.

I really enjoyed this book with the main couple. There is an omega who has flair and sass in spades. He is wanting to build his life but needs help. The alpha hes never forgot come to help but things go wrong and he doesn’t know what’s going to happen.

I loved this well written mpreg book. This was my first book by this author. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I’m glad I took the chance and now I want to go back and read the others in this series. I love Hoyt for knowing what he wanted and went for it. He got himself out of a bad marriage and started a business. It turns out his ex-husband’s brother, Kofi, is the one he should be with. I love the back and forth, will they won’t they, and just the weirdness Hoyt felt for having feelings for his former brother-in-law. I love Kofi’s persistence yet patience with Hoyt. I’m glad they got their happily ever after. I recommend this book and can’t wait for more.
This book contains a little BDSM and Daddy kink.
