Romance is the only genre I read and this book is a good romance novel but when you start it it’s kind of confusing going part to part until you figure out the authors intentn on the parts. I finally caught on to the way she writes. The parts were wrote great and I think it would have been a better and easier read had it been wrote a tad differently. The story is pretty good though – anyone can relate to Chloe as people always wonder if the way their life/relationships are going is what they really want. All the characters are pretty great. It took me longer than expected to read this novel but it turned out to be pretty good. The story really got going as it progressed and it got better. I would recommend reading this. ‘
This a cute and mesmersing romance story. Tricia grabs your attention with her style and how the story progress it is not like you would imagine. When we meet Chole we go through her relationships and see the path which has been taken to get to where she is now. She draws you into this colourful world.
I enjoyed this romance story. This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites. It is written with humor and heart. I had no problems connecting with the characters as they brought the story to life for me. Chloe refuses to take no less than the best when it comes to relationships and how she succeeds. The story takes you through her five romance paths. Which one will she choose? Will fate take over and choose for her? This is a great fast paced story that kept me turning pages. I wanted to see which path she would choose and who she ended up with if any. I highly recommend this fun romance book. Find out what happens with Chloe, you won’t regret it.
Love may not be perfect – but this book is! Copeland does a beautiful job weaving this tale and writing a very compelling HEA. I loved the premise and knew I had to read it. When I saw it was written by Copeland, I knew I was in for a treat. From start to finish this book held my attention. I thought Chloe was a beautifully developed character. I loved following her journey. Give me more!

Perfect written by Tricia Copeland is the first book that I have read by his author. I really enjoyed this book and plot even though I was confused at certain times and the twist you won’t put the book down. The characters are well written with strong personalities and unique quirkiness.

Five passionate paths to the perfect love which is the path will she choose. Which man will she say I do to and spend the rest of her life with only Chloe knows unless you read this amazing story?

This was a fantastic novel with twists to the storyline which made even more exciting! It was brillaint build up full of what ifs too which even after you’ve finished you left thinking what if this happened instead. I love how Chloe the main character grew throughout the story it was interesting to read. It’s not your conventional romance it’s different but in a great way it’s got a witty storyline that will leave you hooked! I can’t wait to read more from this author fantastic!!!
This was a very interesting book. I can honestly say I’ve never read anything like it. Very unique and creative. Our main character is Chloe and we go through her relationships with different guys trying to find her forever man. Who will win her heart and how will she decide who to choose? Will Chloe sacrifice her future goals for a man she’s loved since high school or will she become someone without him. This is not the first book I’ve read by Tricia Copeland, and she never stops impressing me.
One driven woman with five sultry paths for love.
Chloe refuses to deny herself of the best especially when it comes to love and accomplishments. She’s made quite the name for herself from her college-level business classes and called it quits on playing ships in the night with the guy from her teen years. Timing couldn’t be worse as he proposes marriage when she moves on with a basketball player but does she wanna take the sacrifice knowing she’s been benched before down the same road with her high school sweetheart.
As she embarks on her own level of success down the line, love finds her four other times but only she knows what she’s worthy of. The ultimate ending and the love of her life is in her hands and hers alone.
This is a beautiful, pure, modern enchantment. Full of delicate occasions, lighthearted humor, where Tricia makes it fun for you to choose for Chloe. Pick up this book which will be fun and you won’t regret it!
In the search of Mr. Perfect and professional success, the intelligent and determined young Chloe Hahn Pham, about to finish her university career, shuffles her options and lives her youth while deciding unhurriedly the direction that her adult life will take. Multiple candidates appear on the sentimental horizon, and both Chloe’s family and friends will be there to support her when her head gets spinning around, trying to decide who will be the chosen one. At the professional level, the options are also several: from keeping the accounting of a ranch close to home to becoming a star in the fashion business. Will the perfect future be what she has imagined or will some accident of fate change the course of her life?
Torn between Kentucky, New York and Paris, but also between school, work, family and romance, Chloe’s story is, above all, a contemporary story of growth towards maturity and the search for personal success, directed by the motto “give what you have and never settle for less than you deserve”.
Looking for perfection can be a heartbreaking and daunting task…
We follow Chloe as she enters adulthood and does her best to figure out life, work, and relationships, as most any 20-something does. She finds herself in love time and time again, but finding faults prevents those romances from continuing. She often finds herself torn between several options in school, work, life, and love. She feels a sense of duty to her family and wants to make her mother proud, while also wanting to realize her dreams and find happiness. It’s not until she gets to know herself and has time to be her own person, that she can truly find “perfection”.
Perfect has an easy flow and was a quick read. The main characters were well developed and relatable. The writing allowed me to get to know and understand Chloe. I felt the plot twists were creative and I love the way she wove emotion, wit, and realistic events together throughout the story.
This is the second book by Tricia Copeland that I have read, the first being Kingdom of Embers (Which I LOVED!). I enjoy her writing style and her ability to bring her characters to life. Her ability to successfully write in multiple genres is apparent and I look forward to continuing my journey through reading more of her books. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a romance that’s not overrun with smut and that follows realistic characters through a well thought out plot.
Perfect by Tricia Copeland is a sweet romance as Chloe Hahn Pham pursues her dream in the fashion business with periodic romantic side-tracks. Each of her boyfriends possesses a unique charm and masculine quality that makes her heart flutter. Only one man is perfect for Chloe in every way. Things come to a head when an accident causes Chloe to view where she is headed with a new flame and an old flame.
Tricia Copeland keeps her romance novels sweet, with a plot that unfolds into a rewarding read. Perfect depicts a modern young woman who knows her worth without a relationship defining her. Though she desires love and a companion, she isn’t settling for just anyone. I found this novel refreshing with the characters well-defined and likable. Chloe knows herself and what works for her, though her mom and friends try helping her find love. This novel is humorous at times as Chloe needs a little aid from her friends. This author keeps her romances inspirational and clean, focusing on the bond that builds the relationship.
If you’re looking for a fun and easy read then look no further than Perfect by Tricia Copeland. It follows the often funny, sometimes sad love life of Chloe, during which she is proposed to by five different men. Each of her ‘love stories’ is different so which of the men will be the one to win her heart? Chloe is a successful and strong woman and she is these things all on her own without a man, so although it is a romantic comedy, it also has the important message that you shouldn’t settle.
Perfect was a light read that was moving, but also had me laughing out loud in moments. Chloe is a great lead character, not a damsel in distress, but intelligent, powerful, and successful.
Perfect by Tricia Copeland is a well written romance by this rather prolific author. There’s great character development in Chloe the main protagonist as she figures out her life. The structure of the novel itself is different and compels you to keep reading as you delve into this romance story. It shows how different paths you take and the decisions you make can all lead to a different outcome in life. You just never know what it going to happen or how things are going to play out. There’s also plenty of wit, great setting descriptions and a solid and steady plot to pull you in. Overall, a satisfying and safe read for those who enjoy a romance novel. Copeland is an author to watch.
This is the second Copeland book I’ve read (with the first being part of her Kindgom Journals series), and though I enjoyed that book, this one was a much easier read for me (as far as flow and style). It’s like a romance mystery, and it’s not racy/lewd like we often see in romance stories.
This book is unique in that it’s written with reader involvement in mind. Chloe is a solid character and is clearly driven by what she wants, even if she doesn’t seem sure of it at times. The character is not a hyper-emotional one, but Chloe has very apparent emotional depth we can feel. The lines in the book are relatable, and a good number of Chloe’s words and feelings are easily quotable phrases that run parallels to [our] very own lives.
Copeland did a wonderful job here. She deserves all the praise and attention (and more) that this book receives. This just goes to show us that this author is versatile and creative beyond any single genre.
Just as the title suggests, I found the experience of reading it to be the same.
Driven Chloe certainly knows what she wants, but will she get her happy ending? That was the premise that drew me in to read this wonderful novel by Copeland, and what a well-written story I found it to be. As I accompanied Chloe on her journey I found moments that made me smile as well as laugh. Of course it wasn’t all plain sailing, but by the end of the book I felt utterly moved and fulfilled for having read to the end. It’s something of a cliche, but Perfect was a real page turner!.All in all a great book with genuine emotion and substance. I’m sure fans of contemporary romance will live this as much as I did.
Firstly, I have read most of Tricia Copeland’s books as I do like this author and I can advise that I wasn’t disappointed with this book either. I love the way that Tricia grabs your attention right from the beginning of her books and doesn’t let go all the way through. This is another very well written book with a great story that left me wondering what if Chloe (the main character) had made a different choice. If you enjoy reading romance then you will love this book Perfect. Highly enjoyable and highly recommended.
Author Tricia Copeland is originally from Georgia but now lives in Denver, Colorado and pens Young Adult novels with a paranormal tilt. Her books to date include Drop of Sunshine, Lovelock Ones, and two series – the Being Me series of five books, The Kingdom Journals of four books, and now a new stand alone novel – PERFECT.
One of the many aspects of Tricia’s writing, be it in her highly acclaimed paranormal novels or her stand alone romance novels, is her immediate connection with the reader by her gracious use of contemporary language in a tone that feels conversational (remember when we all use to have in-person conversations rather than texting and selfies?) and comfortably invites us into her characters’ personalities. In PERFECT, she escorts us through periods of romantic incidents of a young lass longing for finding Mr. Perfect. And she doesn’t stop with ‘engagements:’ Tricia creates a character in Chloe who bonds ideals of fruitful and meaningful living with finding an accompany force to match.
Supporting the above comment, Tricia opens her story with a longing from her character Chloe – “I miss Adam. It’s been a month since we’ve seen each other. I don’t know if I can do this anymore.” And swiftly her longed for Adam appears and proposes and a chain of events begins, one that carries through to the end. Comfortable atmosphere delivered with a wry humor – a fine opening for this interesting novel.
The synopsis of the plot distills the story well – ‘Chloe is smart, and driven to achieve the life she’s envisioned for herself, but she also longs to find that special someone to spend it with. But how do you know when your current love is the one? Chloe refuses to compromise when it comes to romance and success. Powering through her sophomore-level college business classes, she’s done with the effort of distance-dating her high-school sweetheart. But when he proposes just as she hits it off with a hunky basketball player, she worries following her heart could send her bright future to the bench. As Chloe matures becoming a rising star in the fashion industry, love knocks another four times. But while each potential suitor eventually pops the question, only she knows her ultimate happy ending. Whose arms will embrace Chloe when she chooses her forever man?’
Tricia allows her romance to develop gradually, due in part to her accessible writing skills, but also to her colorful imagination and wry wit. With PERFECT, Tricia proves she is a first class conjurer of pure romance novels. Enhancing the pleasure of reading this book are the fine illustrations peppered throughout. Tricia continues to impress. Recommended for a wide audience.
What an interesting twist to a romance! I won’t ruin it with a spoiler, but I liked how the author structured this novel. I loved the character development with the main character, also – it was neat to watch her grow and evolve over the course of the book! I liked the characters and found them easy to engage with and root for! Tricia, you’ve done it again!
I loved this book so much. Tricia has a way for drawing us all in for the ride!
Join us as we follow Chloe on her journey in romance. This book is written very well and easy to keep up with. I have read just about everything Tricia has written and this book didnt let me down.

3 out of 5 stars
I have read and loved books by Tricia Copeland in the past so I didn’t hesitate to give Perfect a try. Overall, it was a fun, easy to read, clean romance that read very quickly.
At times I felt confused about how much time had lapsed within the pages, especially within the first half of the book. I enjoyed the growth we experience with Chloe through the several years the book takes place and the progressions each of her relationships take. There were times I had to remember myself that Chloe’s story spans several years and the decisions and experiences she has didn’t happen close together. While I did enjoy Chloe as a main character, my favorite character in the book was Isaac and I loved the dynamic between him and Chloe.
Overall, this was an entertaining read and I would read more by Tricia Copeland in the future.
