Pepper: The best part of a happy ending… finding out it’s actually just the beginning. Having someone promise to be by your side, to chase dreams with, whisper troubles to, it’s more than I could have imagined. But after three seasons of Jace playing pro ball in Ohio, three long seasons, with him on the road, and me training all over the world, I’m questioning if we can really have it all. … really have it all. Harsh criticism of our relationship is all too familiar and uncovers old wounds. I only ever wanted to run and to be with Jace, and finding the perfect balance proves to be my greatest trial yet.
We vowed not to let our love deter each other’s athletic goals, but I miss him. I miss us.
Jace:
The demands of our careers have us running in opposite directions, when we should be putting down roots, together. But escalating fame and an overbearing agent have me fumbling everything I hold dear, including Pepper.
After years of dedication and sacrifice, I’m finally in a position to trade to my hometown team. Moving back to Colorado could be the answer to all our problems, but just when I think we’re finally on the right track, we’re sacked with news that turns everything upside down. News that rattles me and sends Pepper into a tailspin. It’s time for me to remind the girl that I fell in love with how to fight.
Until she’s ready, I’ll fight hard enough for the both of us. For better or for worse.

I FLOVE Pepper Jones and I could not wait for this book! Start with book 1, Pepped Up. If you love that angsty goodness of HS to college to more sports romance…just do it.
This book was just right. It made you want to laugh and cry right along with the characters. There always has to be a bad guy but it only added to the amazing overall story line.I would recommend you read this entire series…I know I’ll be reading it again and again.

Awesome ending to a great series
I was so happy to learn that there would be another, and final book, to the Pepper series. I have loved following Pepper’s running career and her relationship with Jace. I couldn’t wait to see what would happen next, although I was hesitant because I didn’t want crazy drama to feel forced and ruin what had been such a great series for me so far. I didn’t want to hate any beloved characters. I thought that Ali did an excellent job of creating new challenges for the characters to overcome and address without feeling forced and I was truly satisfied with the end of the series. If you enjoyed the rest of the series you should definitely read this final installment! Pepper and Jace forever! <3
I have loved all of the pepper Jones series equally and this gem was no different!! I was so sad that the series was over ( or so I thought!) and was elated to find out there was going to be another look into their lives as they have grown up! This is a must read series if you love a feel good sports romance!! Ali did it yet again!!
I have been following Ali Dean since the first Pepper Jones book came out, the series has been my favorite of hers since. Overall, I felt that Pepper and Jace’s story has really developed from the basic childhood friends to lovers story to dealing with more complex issues, as they go into the first years of their respective athletic careers. As a longtime fan of Pepper and Jace’s story, I was pleasantly surprised to see another book come out to conclude their story. If you are looking a short, simple romance then I would recommend this book to you, but I highly recommend that you read the books in order of the series to really understand the story. If you are looking for a long read that may or may not end in a happy ending, then this is not the book for you. This is a cute, short, childhood friends love story that may or may not give you a moment of escape, as you get caught in their whirlwind story.
I absolutely loved this series, so I was so excited for another to come out! This story follows Pepper and Jace as they figure out how to navigate their lives and relationship with such demanding careers. I love that the book picks up right where it left off, yet it still gave a bit more maturity to their relationship and thoughts. Their struggles were so real, and I laughed and cried with them as they experienced the hardships and struggles life throws at you. I could not put this book down. Ali Dean does an incredible job as an author with continuing Pepper and Jace’s story. I love her as an author, and I highly recommend this entire series if you have not yet read it!
I thoroughly enjoyed this return to Pepper and Jace and their love story in the setting of being new adults out of college and navigating their marriage and professional athlete careers. A recurring theme in this series has been how they handle the various pressures their love has faced and this book is no different, delving into some very emotional and real challenges. As always, their love and devotion to each other remains constant and strong and is just as inspiring as Pepper’s commitment to running. Nobody could ever make a runner out of me, but this author’s books never fail to make me wish I was an athletic type, and I always tear up when Pepper (or the heroines from her other books) has a win – just like I do in my favorite sports movies. This sixth book in the series brings back some of my favorite secondary characters – love Gran so much! – and an epilogue gives a beautiful snapshot into the far future.

I thought the series was over but the author surprised me with another book! Pepper and Jace are still together but they are faced with a different type of struggle. How to find time together! Tough times come upon them but their love for each other helps them power through. Get some tissues!
As with all of Ms. Dean’s other books this book was an emotional roller coaster. I laughed. I cried. But I did enjoy catching up with Jace and Piper. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has read the other books in this series!

I loved this series. Happy she wrote a another book about Pepper and Wilder Forever but still want more. This book just got addicted again for more. Great author and series.
This one was the best one. I’ve loved the Pepper Jones series for over 4 years. This book was AMAZING. I love how Ali has grown Pepper and Jace.
Although I’m pretty sad that this is really the end of Pepper and Jace, this book is everything you need it to be. I loved the maturity of Pepper and Jace as individuals and as a unit. Ali Dean’s word made me feel right in there with both characters, you feel the depth of their love for each other. This will always be one of my favorite series of all times. Beautiful way to end the series!
I received and ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

When I first heard of there being a sixth book in this series I was hesitant to read it because for me the fifth book seemed like a lovely, sweet ending and I was worried that this would drag on the story unnecessarily. However, quickly into reading this book I found out that I could not be any more wrong and I urge those with the same thoughts to just give this book a go as they won’t regret it.
Jace and Pepper are now in their 20’s and have been married for 3 years however, with their different sporting careers demanding so much of their time they’ve had little of it to truly settle in their marriage so this book discusses how they’ve coped and what they intend to do in the future.
What I really noticed about this book is that while Jace and Pepper have grown up so has the content in the book. They’ve moved past the petty jealousy and are dealing with more ‘adult’ issues that I won’t name due to spoilers but has really highlighted their character development over the 3 years that have passed since the last book. Although don’t worry it wouldn’t be a Pepper Jones book if she didn’t have to ignore other girls trying to get the now very famous Jace.
I loved how this book was both a sweet ending to the series but also dealt with some really heart wrenching issues that made me cry and laugh and realise just how mature they now are. They both haven’t changed much considering Pepper is still considerate, kind and a little bit shy while Jace is still his confident, cocky self however, in a lot of ways they’ve changed immensely too. They’ve grown from their somewhat selfish teenage selves thinking about their own careers to mature adults wanting to settle down in their careers and live together in a place they can call home while considering the location based off of their partners.
I would recommend this book as the perfect ending for anyone that enjoyed the first five books in the series and if you haven’t already read this series then I would suggest you start it as it’s perfect for those who enjoy high school/college sports romances.
This is book six in the Pepper Jones series. It can not be read as a standalone. I was happy with the way book five ended and wasn’t sure if a book six was needed but it was. This is the conclusion of Pepper and Jace’s story and it’s so good. We get to see them reach all their goals. They have gone through so much and grown so much along the way. Jace and Pepper still go through their ups and downs and struggle with the paths their life takes them. After reading this one I very happy with the way it all turned out.
Ali Dean does not disappoint in her latest installment of the Pepper Jones series. Pepper and Jace absolutely belong together and this book is the perfect ending for this love story.

Ali has done it again! I fell in love with Pepper and Jace over the years. They are some amazing characters and to see how they have grown was a delight. It was heartbreaking what they go through in this book and I cried right along with them. But to see them raise and persevere was amazing. I am very sad to see the end of the series but I am very happy with how it ended. Now we wait to see what Ali Dean comes out with next.
I separately read and totally adored (and separately reviewed) the three books of Angela Sanders’ The Hybrid Coven: Books 1 -3, Marked by a Vampire (Book 1), Mated by Magic (Book 2) and Touched by a Vampire (Book 3). Each was filled with action, adventure and thrills, along with deceits, betrayals, loyalties that are tested, failures and successes, and just the right touch of romance. Add in superb lead characters and supporting casts and well written plots. Really what more could one ask for? But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. The collection definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the collection is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend.
Wow! I can’t believe that this is the actual, real deal, final book in the Pepper Jones series. Ali Dean sure did take us on an emotional roller coaster on this one. I felt almost every single emotion in this one. The writing is amazing and the story line even better. I fell in love with Jace and Pepper and their love story all over again. I really hope that this author publishes some more novellas for this couple!
What a cute read! I was really happy to receive an ARC of this book and continue Pepper’s journey. It was definitely a more mature read, dealing with other issues than a girl or boy obsessively trying to break up Pepper and Jace’s relationship. The issues in this book felt a lot more real, even if more heavy.
I was also really glad that the author decided to write another book in this series; the ending to the fifth book felt a little abrupt. It was hard to picture what a marriage between Pepper and Jace would look like with both their athletic careers taking off, and like we saw, there were some logistics to figure out especially around where they lived; but it was wonderful to see them mature in the year or so since we had seen them last. And, we got an adorable epilogue where we met Pepper and Jace’s kids! 🙂
