Wow!
I’m still reeling from the unique and troubling circumstances that these two come from. I honestly can’t comprehend Miles’ history. Bebe, I can empathize. I can see it but Miles (shakes head) that’s a few therapy sessions for me to figure out my anger, frustration, and need to jug his younger self.
Peep Show is hot. Not wow fans self hot- no this is a dumpster fire of epic proportions that takes the building out to turning it into a 5 alarm fire with no possible chance of survival. And yet, they do survive. They actually do more than survive- they thrive.
So take a peep and stay for a story…
I hated this book, yet I had to read it to the end. It was so messed up and disgusting, yet I needed to know how it ended. As messed up as it was, crude and sick….the underlying story was quite touching in a twisted way… it’s worth reading past the first chapter to understand why….
I really loved this story about 2 broken people who unexpectedly find each other and make each other the whole people they were meant to be. The story is shocking and raunchy at times, but it has a satisfying HEA. You will fall in love with these 2 characters.
A truly haunting story about two people fighting the sorrows and demons in their heads and their lives. Bebe need for someone to care for her drove her to mindless sex with strangers which only led to more pain and suffering.
as for miles his dark twisted past was ingrained in his flesh and the torture he put on himself made me think he would never overcome it and let bebe in. Great story touch going in places but we’ll worth the read.
Awesome read! Swept in captivated from the start, definitely an emotional dark rollercoaster ride. Redeemable characters both seeking something they found in each other. Two lost souls needing the other. Loved it!! I volunteered to read an ARC copy of this book
So fucking incredible…. Just wow !!! I can feel their emotions ( lust ,need, pain, love ) as they were mine…. deeply inside me ….
I hope it will be translated into Italian because i need/want to re-read it
This was a great book for me to read. May not be for everyone. It is a dark romance so make sure you like those type. This author did great writing about the anxiety and other mental illness many deal with every day. Grant read. Loved Miles character wanted to rwatch through the book and hold him.
Wow!! I was blown away by Peep Show and it is definitely one of my favorite books by Isabella Starling. I loved how she shed light on issues that are often misunderstood and overlooked everyday. This deliciously sexy story will take you on an emotional rollercoaster ride you won’t soon forget.
Both Miles and Bebe are broken in their own ways and headed down paths of self-destruction. Their broken pieces somehow form a whole and they couldn’t be more perfect for each other.
Miles and Bebe’s story is as far from hearts and flowers as you can get. It’s raw, gritty, eye-opening and has enough heat to combust your Kindle. When I initially started Peep Show I was expecting it to go one way but it morphed into an amazing story that blew me away and put my emotions through the blender. I can’t wait to see what’s up next!
I got so much more then I bargained for in this book. I was expecting one thing and while I go it, I go so much more then I was hoping for. Oh sweet Miles. If I could climb into a book and hug a character l, I would choose Miles a million times over. His struggle and fight through this book felt so real. My heart broke for him. I was so glad for Bebe. Yes this story was also about her struggle and becoming the evening man she could always been, but I connected the most with Miles. Their relationship wasn’t normal on most people’s eyes but I loved every depraved second of it. I loved the ending and am really sad that it’s over. I can’t wait to see this authors next tabooish type Read. I read Pet also and enjoyed it, but not as much as Peep Show. 4 stars #2OCCJD
Miles and Bebe so messed up but so good! A beautiful story full of darkness and light. Miles is a photographer. He doesn’t leave his apartment. Bebe is his party girl neighbor with problems of her own. They meet after a voyeuristic encounter. This book is so hot it will make you melt.
I received an arc and am voluntarily leaving my review.
This is the first book by Isabella Starling that I have read and it won’t be the last. From the first page I was drawn into Miles and Bebe’s story. It’s not an easy story to read by any means and at times I wasn’t sure I would make it through certain parts, but I am so glad that I did. While this story is unique, we all have some secret or hurt we think no one will understand just like Miles and Bebe do. Finding someone to love you unconditionally is sometimes the best cure
Fantastic book!!!
This was my first time reading a book by Isabella Starling, but won’t be the last one. AMAZING!! I couldn’t put it down from the beginning. It was twisted, riveting, and just good.
Peep Show is a beautifully written story of two broken souls who heal each other, unconventional ways or not. It’s beautiful and intimate. I didn’t know what I was getting into with this book, I just knew I had to have it. Had to read it. I’m glad I did. Miles and Bebe are both broken from tragedies in their life. They are both drawn to each other even knowing they aren’t good for each other. Bebe uses drugs, alcohol, sex, and partying to fill a hole inside her. Miles uses his cleanliness, sex and photography to fill a hole inside him. Miles has a dark secret, one he’s ashamed of yet can’t let go.
After Bebe sees Miles and a woman against the window having sex, she’s hooked. She can’t get him out of her head. Miles is the same, he’s hooked and can’t get the beautiful Bebe getting off by watching out of his head. An unlikely relationship comes from this. The heat of this book. I thought my kindle would catch fire with how insanely hot Peep Show is.
The sex. The characters. The writing. The vulnerability. All of this won’t let you go. It drags you in and has you hooked from the first page. Waiting, watching, hoping that Bebe and Miles can be enough for each other. Peep Show brings us these two completely broken souls, then shows us how they healed each other.
I have been eagerly and slightly impatiently awaiting this book for a long time and the anxiety was well worth it!! This is now my favorite Isabella Starling book ever!! It was ugly, twisted and very emotional…..and at the same time so beautiful. Bebe & Miles are so real and easy to relate to as they go through all of their struggles.
This book was absolutely amazing, brilliant, and most of all deep. It took us on a journey that not many people know about. Something like this totally changes ones life. I know first hand what it’s like to be in Mikes shoes and I pray everyday that I finally got out. This book did it justice is so many wsys. Thank you Isabella for writing a wonderful masterpiece. So worth the read that it gets 5+ stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader’s Copy
Wow! I think this is Isabella Starling’s best work yet. Dark and titillating, this book will take you to places you never thought imaginable. The details are so vivid it is like your are experiencing them as you read them. Be prepared to fall in love with the broken bad boy and the damaged bad girl. This book is so full of raw and gritty emotions that will make your heart bleed and keep you sitting on the edge of your seat wanting more. This is such a beautifully, well-written story that deserves more than 5 stars and an immediate 1-click purchase. Even though I read an advanced reader copy, I purchased a copy for my own personal library. Well done Isabella Starling…your talent never ceases to amaze me.
Great book loved Miles and Bebe.
I’m not sure I can convey all my thoughts and feelings about Peep Show. It is a mind-blowing book that is raw, powerful, deep and intense. If you are looking for a sweet, breezy, sunshine filled love story you need to keep looking because this book is not what you are looking for. However, if you are open minded and willing to expose yourself to a romance that is so beyond the norm it might as well be from another planet. Miles and BeBe are such complex characters. Each scarred by their pasts and so eager to punish themselves because of it. Their romance is dark, painful, often shocking, and even at times outright ugly. These characters are going to hurt each other and us, so be prepared. As much as I felt these two were soulmates and I did. It was beautiful how they could sooth each other and be what made the other a better person, I must say Miles crossed a line. A big one, and I’m not sure I would or even could move past it if it involved me. BeBe did and as in real life everyone must do what they feel is right for them. Book deals with important, sensitive subjects. Things that people are not willing to talk about as they are smothered by the shame they feel and choked by the pain they live with on a daily basis. The author was brave enough to shine a light on these issues. I applaud her for it and thank her because without the truly brave that step forward first, we will all remain silent, suffering, invisible and alone. I very much hope you will read this book. The emotional journey it takes you on will be hard and painful but the ending and it’s message are so worth it. You are not alone, things can get better and love makes all the difference in the world.
Peep Show Breaks Social Stigmas And “Dirty Little Secrets”
We all have something. Something we hide from others. Some people’s problems may be worse off, or you may be worse off than others. In my opinion, Bebe’s problems pale in comparison to Miles and yet they make each other work. They are each other’s rock.
Isabella Starling writes Miles strong, dominant, and filthy at first. But then we get to know the real miles. A little at a time. Unraveling the true Miles. Unveiling the hurt, troubled, vulnerable, loving with a heart-of-gold Miles. The Miles who would do anything in the whole world for the person he truly loves. Even break all his own rules and all his fears just to protect her, the girl who he’s been waiting all his life for, Bebe.
Their drastically different problems that broke each of them seems like the glue bonding them. They were able to understand and help each other like no one on earth could.
I commend Isabella for writing something so personal to her own life. I could see how Peep Show was a real struggle for her to write. A struggle and maybe some clarity into her own issues. I too suffer from some of the same problems throughout Peep Show. The fact Isabella exposed my fears hidden inside myself makes me less ashamed. Mental issues come with heavy social stigmas attached. Shedding light on these issues for what they are is a daunting task and Isabella did a spectacular job tackling them.
Isabella made me fall in love with Bebe and Miles. Especially poor, broken Miles. I felt myself wondering about him even when I wasn’t reading Peep Show. Obsessing over him. Thinking that maybe If I could find a Miles for myself, we could face anything in our path. She gives battered souls out there something to hope for. Hope is a powerful thing. Especially for the hopeless.
I adored Peep Show and I hope you do, also!
