Eric Pearson is not likeable, but he’s quite intriguing. He’s a terrible father, but despite his horrible everything, women seem to find him quite hot. Physically, he’s well put together. His partners at work sometimes get pissed at his condescending attitute, but that attitude has helped make them all very rich. Whatever Eric sets his sights on something he gets it. Even his son’s girlfriend, Rowan. She’s been crushing on her boyfriend’s father for a few years, and Eric is ready to pounce!
No spoilers, but Eric captured my attention for this whole book. He’s so awful, but he’s very good at getting what he wants. And makes the other person feel like he’s doing them a favor. He and Rowan certainly have a bond. There’s just something about Eric that kept me reading this story.
Book 3 in the Four Fathers series is by K Webster. This one tackles the selfish, arrogance that is Eric Pearson.
Eric Pearson learned early on that if you want something, you take it. That’s exactly what he does with his teenage neighbour. He wants her so he takes her, from his son.
Rowan Wheeler, has lusted after Eric for years but he was always just a fantasy. Could that fantasy about to become reality?
This one is a little disturbing with the way Eric behaved, that didn’t stop me from devouring it though. It is a very well written taboo romance. As the warning states at the start, we may not like this hero, I didn’t but I soon learned that he does actually have a heart – he let it show a few times.
Fantastic series by four fantastic authors. I can’t wait to read Wheeler.
I liked this short novella. Eric is a dominating a**hole most of the time but it makes for good reading!
WOW! What a book! And what an ending!!! Eric Pearson is such an egotistical as@h&!e you want to hate him but you want more at the same time! I cannot wait to read the next of the four fathers series!! Told in dual POV; I can’t say much or else it will give it away.
Not gonna lie …. I’m a little worried about this book because Eric Pearson hasn’t exactly been a nice guy in the previous books so we shall see ……
Aaaaand my worries were warranted LOL !! Okay, so I am somewhat more satisfied with Pearson than I was with Kingston because at least there was an actual story to follow.
Again, imo, there is no love or romance to this book. Eric Pearson has zero redeeming qualities that I could see and everything he did felt like he did it as a fuck you to someone else. The thing (lol I have no other word for it) that he developed with Rowan was 100% a big fuck you to Jax and nothing else. So not so much porn on paper, but necessary acts, sexual or otherwise, that not only set up the next story in this series, Wheeler, but also for the connecting series Four Sons.
I won’t lie and say that I particularly liked any sexual development to this book. It all felt forced and brutal and borderline rapey to me. That’s not really my thing, fantasy or otherwise. I think that Eric and Rowan’s first experience could have been a bit less savage and still driven the point home .. the hero gets his rocks off at humiliating others, sexually or otherwise. So when the ending came, I was relieved there was no more story and I actually laughed. Karma can be such a bitch sometimes, eh?!
K Webster is the Queen of Taboo writing with her sizzling and steamy books that she puts out. Her latest book can attest to that. Pearson is dark, delicious and full of taboo needs. Pearson is book three in the Four Fathers series. The book is about Eric Pearson who is an alpha male, one who is the biggest jerk walking – he is in his mid 40s, has a huge ego, is a dominant alpha and everything has to be his way or look out for he will strike out at you! This story is a taboo read with twists galore. I want to state immediately that Eric is NOT a hero.. Think anti-hero — you will either like him or hate him , he is that type of person. I ended up liking him in spite of his actions. Eric did some lowdown dirty things, I don’t know how someone didn’t just off him for his actions. The story has many twists and the ending was so awesome. It looks like this may have a followup in Wheeler by Ker Dukey . I have to hand it to Ms. Webster, she really gave the readers the angst, the romance, the passion, the taboo, the dirty, the dark and the evil all in one setting. Eric and Rowan’s unique romance had me doing handstands, its that delicious!!!! IT’S A MUST READ!!!!!
My Rating: 4.9 stars *****
“I received an advanced copy of this book from the author at no cost to me.”
Fast paced quick read, this is Book 3 in the Four Fathers series. This kinky, sexy, read had a smudged of taboo to keep things interesting. This alpha Daddy Dearest aka Pearson likes to go for what he wants…so decides to steal his son’s girlfriend! decides to steal his son’s girlfriend!
Yeah he went there and the result was a devilishly dirty hot fun read!
4.5 Stars
Eric Pearson is cocky, crude, demanding, knows what he wants and takes what he wants…and I couldn’t get enough! It has been awhile since I both loved and hated a character with equal passion! So many times I found myself frustrated with both the hero and the heroine for their thoughts and their actions but all that just made the story what it is.
If you have read this author’s Taboo Treats this is a book that fits in perfectly with those. It is hot, it is dirty, and it is taboo! Enjoy Mr. Pearson!
The warning is true…lol
But even if you hate him, Eric is definitely magnetic. He has a way of pulling you in. Pearson maybe book 3 but it’s definitely an attention stealer…well until you read Wheeler.
I read book 4 first which is a major no- no because of the spoilers. But I think in my case it was gasoline on a fire. And boy did that mother fluffed burn!!!!!
More like a 3.5
I went in this book sort of blind. I knew it was going to be taboo, it’s the reason why I bought it. The blurb sucked me in, and well it’s K. Webster so you KNOW it’s going to be good.
As usual with this author, the writing is flawless. She writes so perfectly that you can’t help but want to read more. It’s a fast paced book, which is probably why I didn’t like it as much…maybe it was just too fast. And Rowan? I don’t know. I feel like she portrays herself as innocent but doesn’t know on what foot she wants to stand on. It annoyed me a little. I had no issues with Pearson because he’s clear right from the start what kind of man he is.
All in all, I enjoyed the read.
I can NOT get over how stinkin’ good this book was, seriously! Once I started I did NOT want to put it down. The writing was so incredible.
Pearson is a JERK but what a sinfully delicious jerk he is! He pushes so many limits weather it’s from his sons, friends, enemy, or lover! He does not want forgiveness for the things he does, he goes in headstrong with everything apologetically and it’s AMAZING.
Rowen, well she’s kind of a push over. And well from what she’s described of her father I get it in a way. She really just seems to want someone to love her unconditionally.
And the sons, they all seem to in a way have a thing for Rowen, they want something that is no longer attainable.
No one does forbidden and taboo like this Author, and this sweet little gem is no exception!! I loved the older man, young girl and read straight through until I was done. Blush-worthy and super good!
I thank the Author for providing a copy to review!!

I never thought I’d fall for the bad guy in this series but Eric had me wanting to take a cold shower! Eric is a man that doesn’t care who he hurts and when he wants something or someone he gets it. Wow this whole book is a alpha turn on! I couldn’t stand Eric in book one and am totally shocked that I fell for his alph self! The author definitely shocked me and I loved every single page! A must read after book 1 5/5 Mine Stars ****Reviewed by Sweet & Spicy Reads a voluntarily Advanced Reader Copy of this book ****
Having read Kristi since her Elizabeth grey days, I’ve come to a simple conclusion. Her books can be broadly divided into two categories -Wowza! Did she write that? & Wow! she did Not just write that!! . There’s her very well thought, well researched books that take her months to write, from inception to publishing. Gems like Whispers and Roars, Blue Hill Blood, My Torin. Her characters from Benny, Gabe, Diego to Vlad & Nick have been Terrifying yet very enamouring.
Then there’s books she literally hums out maybe while cooking, doing chores, shower and such, cause that’s her comfortable genre, I can picture her typing out these Daddy smuts almost overnight, she’s so good at them.
This book is firmly stanced in category #2 . Her #DaddyGame is strong in this one. Erin Pearson is one of the Four Fathers. Very smug, cocky, asshole type 40 something, at his prime . He’s a go-getter and taker .
I ALWAYS GET what I want. In business. In life. In the sack. Always.
Most people don’t get what they want because they ask for it, work toward it— they don’t take it. My entire life, that’s exactly what I’ve done.
Take. Take. Take.
His eyes land on his neighbour Jax Wheeler’s nubile, innocent, virginal daughter – Rowan Wheeler, jailbait Teen and his son, Brock’s girlfriend at his pool party and he knows it’s time!!!
Yup! You read that right. But it doesn’t stop Daddy-O from picturing her naked and wanting underneath him. Partially due to his festering animosity towards Jax Daddy and to destroy him by ruining his daughter.
I would love to daddy the fuck out of her.
What happens is……read the book !!!! Or Kristi starts sharpening her knives, looking all crazy eyed at me !!!!

The warning had me chuckling and then THAT moment came and OMG!
You know that emoji with the huge, I can’t believe it eyes?
Yeah.
That was me.
And then I started laughing in absolute delight.
Because she (the author) went there.
I’m still laughing in all honesty, but it’s a good laughter I promise, because she REALLY went there and it was awesome!
It was over the top taboo smexyness with the angst that comes with a situation like this and a good dose of heart to make you pause and take stock of what you just experienced and if what you’re feeling is legitimate or not.
So, Pearson….what can I say about it that won’t be spoilery??
He’s an asshole, but he’s an addictive one. The shit he pulls had me all like, WTF?!? And yet it was hot and I had to see what happened next. And even when he started to edge close to the line that I have, which to be honest takes a really long time, he’d do something that showed he had a heart, one that is quite rusty, but the man has one. As for his girl…She is young. She is all kinds of taboo, for more reasons than one, but she holds her own and despite everything, they give each other exactly what the other needs.
I probably don’t need to point this out, but I will, I’m a fangirl ~ whether the author writes romcom or dark and dirty ~ I’ll read it. While Pearson can be read as a standalone, you really should read Blackstone by J.D. Hollyfield and Kingston by Dani Rene so you can get a good feel for the man and his relationships with these two men.
This one is taboo, like her Taboo Treats, and pushes that line, so if that’s your special brand poison…then you’ll love this one!
You want to read this book! Trust me!
