Pearl White by Lindsay Marie Miller is the third book in the Murder In Savannah series. It follows on from Emerald Green and Honey Gold.
Pearl White continues on from where we left Honey Gold. Tom and Addie had thrown the Emerald necklace which had caused them nothing but trouble and heartache, into the sea and thought that they were finally free from it’s clutches. Would Tom and Addie now be free to get on with their lives? As teenagers Tom and Addie have had to go through more pain and heartache then most people have to endure in their whole lives.
In Honey Gold we are taken to Paris where Addie gets to meet family that she never knew existed. But of course the damned necklace ensures that nothing runs smoothly for the young lovers.
Whereas I’d taken some time to get into the first book, Emerald Green, I devoured Honey Gold in one day. I was gripped to the story and wanted to see how everything would end up. Little did I know at that time that there is a 4th book in this series. What a nightmare for me when I realised that I would have to wait to see how this story ends. I cannot wait to get my hands on a copy of Violet Blood. After all that they have gone through I’m praying that Tom and Addie finally get their happily ever after but I’m sure that the author is going to throw in a few more twists and turns to this intriguing story.
If you are looking for a story full of murder, mystery, suspense and intrigue then the Murder In Savannah series is a must read.
Pearl White by Lindsay Marie Miller is the third book in the Murder in Savannah series. These should be read in order because otherwise a lot of the story will be missing or misunderstood. This is the final book in Addie and Tom’s story. There are still some twists and the two have many challenges. Will their love survive yet another challenge? Just when you think Addie and Tom have faced enough in their lives something comes back to haunt them. The two are brought into more of the past. The story was a good conclusion and I think this is a good book for someone who likes romance, mystery, and suspense.
This author rolls out a story like no other. Each book is deep in the history of not only the couple and their trials. They may be young but this duo stays strong and keep drawing on each other as they go thru each attack, betrayal, lie, and deception. The story draws you in and keeps you there, frantically turning pages to find out what happens next.
Yes it is a series. No it isn’t a standalone. Yes it is worth every minute and every penny. The characters are young in age but life has aged them beyond their years. I love this author and her ability to weave a story that keeps you wanting more. Awesome read.
