Outstanding Story & Audible Listen Heartfelt & Moving!
Pavey Boulevard
Island Series, Book 1
By: Rie Anders
Narrated by: Lessa Lamb
Wow, what an amazing and beautiful story. This is my first book by Rie Anders and it will not be my last. I enjoyed her writing style, her descriptive details brings you right along side the characters, letting you see what they see, feel what they are feeling. Her characters are complex and well developed. I adored these characters especially Shaye and Nick, the secondary characters are amazing too. Also loved where the story is set, in the Northwest. This story is about young love that was ended by tragedy. My heart was broken for all involved. I will not go into detail but I highly recommend this emotionally charged story, there is so much to it. There is never a dull moment, plenty of drama, angst, twists, some fun time, some heart wrenching one all leading to a great romance, as well as friendships for life. Rie Anders thank you for this wonderful story and the emotional rollercoaster ride. You know how to bring out all the feels.
I listened to the Audible edition. Less Lamb is a terrific narrator and voice performer. She brings these characters to life, gives each their own voice and personality. She sets the perfect tone for the story and does an awesome job projecting the emotion of the characters into her performance. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another great listen
This is one of the best books I’ve read this year and I’ve read a bunch. This book will make you experience laughter, sorrow, heartbreak, and hope, just to name a few. Shaye returns to Lopez Island and reconnects with childhood friends. She starts seeing Jason, but she doesn’t feel for him what she feels for his brother, Nick, the night he returns to the island. This was an emotional read at times, but we do get a happily ever after. Grab your copy and get ready to fall in love with the characters of Lopez Island.
What a way to start a series with a bang! Rie Anders writes with a cadence and story line that leave the reader not wanting to stop turning the page. There is an almost immediate connection to relatable characters who are distinct in personality and pack a punch! These characters will take you through this novel like a group of best friends. You will cheer them on as well as almost literally feel their pain. You’ll finish Pavey Boulevard and want to begin the second book in this series immediately. If editing is important to you, I didn’t find a single spelling error. Structure is spot on. Oh, and if you enjoy Audible, the narrator for this is hands down the best narrator I’ve come across. And I read and listen daily. Well done Rie Anders, well done!
Loved this love story of love , heartache, second chances , made me smile, laugh and cry ..Perfect!
