Very sad parts. I felt it moved a little fast. When my son was being tested for a condition, it took forever. In the book, he is taken to get an xray and gets admitted the same day.
Not knowing which man is the father of your child sure becomes a problem when the child has a medical problem. There were some unexpected turns in this one.
Great read! Happily ever after.
Every parents nightmare . . . their child diagnosed with a life threatening illness .
This saga has so many twists and turns that will keep the reading guessing. The bottom line is what would a parent do in this position ? Don’t judge unless you have been there.
I loved this book!! The characters became good friends and I couldn’t wait to see how it ended!
This story reminds the reader how strong people can be in times of suffering. Also helps the reader understand how devastating chronic illness can be. Much appreciated.
One of my favorite reads
I liked the characters and loved the way a tragic illness brought together everyone to create a happy ending. I figured out who would be the match to save the child at the beginning, but the twists and turns makes it worth reading.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Although it’s British and I couldn’t relate to the setting and there were some words I had to look up (very easy on a Kindle), I liked the characters and the plot. It wasn’t as heavy as I expected with a plot involving childhood cancer. There was so much more going on in their lives and the many characters …
Loved it
Would give more stars if possible. A must read
Raw and emotional
I loved this book. I’ve read it twice now and thoroughly enjoyed reading it both times. I follow this author faithfully and I’ve enjoyed all she has written.
Great read. Wonderful characters. Hope it promotes people to be donors. Wether it be blood or bone marrow while you are alive,or organs after your gone. Think about it. It makes a huge difference. You can make a difference & help others.
VERY GOOD!!
Emotional, interesting and heart-wrenching. Makes one ask the question, what would I do?” if it were me.
Loved it!!!
