Yay, Winter Travers is giving us a next gen series from the amazing Devil’s Knights MC series and first up is Rigid and Cyn’s son “Hero”. He met Reva in quite an odd way after one of the dogs she was attending to at her dog grooming parlour escaped and found her way to the clubhouse. Hero found the pair on the property and both women; human and canine, were smitten with the handsome biker that made dogs gravitate to him and Reva apparently into an unfiltered idiot with the things she blurted out in his presence, lol.
When Lo “King” and the rest of the older generation of brothers went on vacation and left the club in Hero’s hands he was expecting it to be a simple case of day to day running of the usual. What he didn’t expect was the mayhem that started up pretty much straight away with the dead bodies of people associated with the club showing up and the adorably cute Reva arriving in his life. With all this going on pretty much as soon as he left will King ever trust Hero enough to pass him the gavel?
This was really good. We saw the originals briefly while getting what felt like a brand new series to enjoy. We also got some mystery while we watched/read the guys try to figure out who the murderer is and what’s up with Reva’s weirdo neighbour, Harry. A perfect mix of drama, humour, action and of course the falling in love bit and I give Passing the Torch 5 stars and that ending has me eager for the next one.

Just going to put this out there, this is a second gen story; so if you haven’t read about the parents in the original Devil’s Knights, you might want to check them out first. Hero, Rigid and Cyn’s son, is going to get a chance at the gavel. Sure this is a trial run thing, but he knows that its only a matter of time before he becomes President. When Reva catches his eye, Hero knows that she is it for him. What happens when his trial run at being President starts to get a bit harder… like dead body harder? Will Hero prove that he has what it takes to be the President of the Devil’s Knights?
Wow, what a second gen story!!!! Hero and Reva’s story has so much going for it; action, funny bits, some hot naughty moments and throw in a dash of violence. This was fantastic! I give this 5 stars and soo excited to see where this second gen series goes.
I really enjoyed Reva and Hero. Who doesn’t love a man who has a way with animals?
Reva is a loner working in her shop. She has no clue what she is missing out on until Barbara wanders off and Hero helps her….in more ways than one. Hero is intrigued by Reva and can’t keep his eyes off her. There is something there for sure.
Can’t wait to see where this series goes with the kids all taking over!
This has been a long awaited book. It didn’t disappoint either! Hero aka Micha Rigids son has grown into a man and is Looking to take over from King one day. When given the opportunity to step up for a few days things don’t go to plan! One thing does tho and it’s meeting Reva. She soon becomes his girl and amidst the chaos happening in one of the club businesses their connection grows. Soon there’s another threat that’s hidden and thanks to quick thinking on Hero’s part she survives. Now I can’t believe you left it like that! So cruel. Lol. Can’t wait for the next book.
Passing the Torch is the first book in the 2nd generation of the Devil’s Knights MC. Hero and Reva’s story is witty, steamy and action packed. Their story is filled with drama but like the originals it is a little quirky and entertaining. Reva will steal your heart and Hero will make you swoon. It’s like catching up with old friends and wondering why it has been so long between drinks. A great introduction to the next generation that will have you craving all things new and old with the Devil’s Knights MC.
Passing the Torch is the first book in the Devils Knights second generation. Whilst you can easily read this title as a standalone without reading the first generation, I loved the first series which is full of fun, quirky and intriguing characters. This title features Hero aka Micah, the son of Cyn and Rigid who are featured in Finding Cyn.
Hero is temporarily put in charge of the Devils Knights MC when the older generation go on a road trip. He’s a sexy, determined alpha, who’s not afraid to go after what he wants.
Reva is a comparable character to Meg and Cyn. She’s quirky, awkward and fun. She has a tendency to babble exactly what’s on her mind at the most inopportune time.
I loved their fun and flirty interactions and quite often found myself laughing out loud at Reva’s inability to censor her words.
Whilst some elements of the storyline were quite predictable, this title does finish in a cliffhanger that has left me guessing and I’m eager for the next installment of the Devils Knights second generation.
When Reva and Hero see each other he knows he wants her and he just has to convince her of that. I loved this story and the fact Reva never held back her and spoke her mind. I loved the characters and the journey this story took me on.
Dying to go back and read the first generation! Hero is dying for his chance to prove to his father and the rest of the first generation that he is the one to be the next president of the MC, and when they go on vacation and leave him in charge, he is determined to prove his point. As soon as they leave though, Hero finds that girls from the MC’s strip club are turning up dead, and they can’t figure out who’s behind it. At the same time, Hero meets Reva, a business owner near the clubhouse, and they meet on chance that changes their lives. Determined to see where things go between them, they get to know each other and play off of each other’s strengths while supporting each other during weaknesses. When Hero realizes he’s in over his head with the murders, he calls in the first generation and they return home, not realizing how close he is to the killer and Reva. I loved the book, much like my enjoyment with the rest of Winter’s books, and I can’t wait for the next installment and getting to know the second generation!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This is the 1st story in the 2nd generation of the Devil’s Knights, and what a perfect beginning this is. When all the original members are dragged away on vacation by their significant others, it is up to the younger generation to carry the torch. Hero is convinced he can one day be President, and this is the perfect time to prove it, that is until things start to go wrong. Reva is a dog groomer from across the road from the clubhouse, and when one of her dog’s escapes, she meets Hero aka “the dog whisperer” lol. The way in which Reva loses her filter whenever Hero is close is hilarious. This is a beautifully written story which is humorous, action packed, and entertaining which all leads to a steamy and addictive page turner. I cannot wait to read the next book in this awesome series and I highly recommend for all.
I am a lover of everything Devil’s Knights. Let’s face it Lo and Meg are what makes this series so very special. However I have room in my heart to fall in love with this new generation of Knights. Reva and Hero are the right combination of hot and fun that I think Winter Travers brings to all her books. Great start to this new series and I can’t wait for more. Loved it.
The first book of the second generation Devil Knights has everything you could want suspense action romance and plenty of humor. Reva and Hero take us on a ride that you don’t want to end, and leaves us wanting more.
Love this series
Hero and Reva grabbed m heart intense emotional broken beautiful love story
ready for more
Bring on Indy
This is book one in the spin-off from the Devil’s Knights and is about the second generation children. Dog Whisper, I mean Hero (HaHa) has known the club all of his life and would love nothing more than to be Passed the gavel. We know the MC life isn’t easy, but while the original crew are away taking a long overdue vacation (that alone is funny and you shall see why as you read the story) someone is messing with people’s lives and Hero must show that not only is his club innocent, but that he can solve who it is and show King he can head of the club when the time is right. Reva was a ray of Sunshine and how they meet is hilarious. She is completely out of her element when it comes to this MC family, but somehow it works perfectly. The chemistry between them is on fire. You get a story full of suspense and hilarious moments that takes the edge off the bad happening in the town. This was a great intro to a new series and I cannot wait to read more on these kids (now grown ups).
Oh. My. Days!!!!! I cannot tell you how much I love the Devil’s Knights! Well actually I can! I bloody love every single one of them and their sassy, crazy women!
And now, NOW we get the second generation!! So we get to catch up with the OGs *sigh, although briefly and then we get the kids and not have they grown up!!
This book had me from the first page, Revs is beyond cute and awkward and I loved her (she reminds me so much of Meg!). Hero is Rigid and Cyn’s son, this club is running through his veins! From their first meet, the connection is real and strong and my heart just went along for the ride. Loved every word and that ending?!!!!!
Bloody loved it!!

This was almost Insta-love, but that’s just how some bikers are. They see what they want and they take it without question. Hero and Reva are adorable together. I love that she has no filter around him, and that she loves dogs (I can relate.)
Add in the slight suspense and I’m loving this romance. I did think some of the suspense was predictable and the ending seemed a little flat, but overall I truly enjoyed this HEA.
Biker, Dog Groomer, Sweet, Suspense, Mysterious, Alpha, Acting President
Oh my goodness what a great read! I was on the edge of my seat waiting for this book and I was not disappointed. It’s a great mix of the original Devil’s Knights and the second generation. I loved that check in with the characters we’ve loved while having a whole new group to dig in to! Hero is the perfect protector, strong and sweet. I love Reva, her quirks had me giggling and her heart had me smiling. The story has suspense swirled in that kept me on my toes. I loved this and I’m really looking forward to more from this series.
This book introduces us to the 2nd generation of the Devils Knights MC and I loved it!!! I love continuations of beloved series, and Winter has done a great job! In this book we have Hero and Reva…. they meet and have quite an adventure. The old timers leave on vacation and put their kids in charge of the club and club businesses. I loved seeing all the original members and ol ladies…. they are hilarious! The book kept my attention and was filled with action and romance. This was a great read!!! I can’t wait for more!!
Great MC read. The author has given us a great start to a 2nd generation MC series. This is Hero and Reva’s story. Hero is Rigid and Cyn’s son and has been hoping to take over the club when King steps down. Reva is the dog groomer who’s shop is located across the street from the Devil Knights Clubhouse. She meets Hero when one of her dogs gets loose and runs inside the clubhouse fence. Watching Reva turn into a babbling idiot in front of the sexy biker was absolutely a Hoot and a half. Somehow when he’s around she loses her filter and the crazy just comes out. Hero loves this about her and I have to admit I laughed and smiled a lot throughout most of the book.
When the older brothers, who still run the Devil’s Knights, decide to go on a long vacation, they leave the 2nd generation in charge. Kind of like a trial run. While the younger set have been MC brothers awhile, they will soon learn stepping up to make decisions in the clubs best interest isn’t quite as easy as it looks. Especially when things start to take a dangerous turn of events. The storyline is funny, sexy and suspenseful all rolled up into one.
Kudos Ms. Travers for a great start to the 2nd Generation series. This reader Highly Recommends grabbing up book 1 in this series and I can’t wait to find out what happens next (FYI: Passing the Torch ends with an OMG moment that gives us a hint into the next book).
2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars.
I absolutely loved this book.
The story was very well written and
held my attention.
Hero and Reva had such amazing chemistry.
I love that this is the 2nd generation of Devil’s Knights MC.
Loved the catching up with the gang.
I voluntarily read and reviewed this book from
an advanced reader copy.
The 2nd generation of the Devils Knights are here!
Passing the Torch features Hero (Micah) who is Rigid and Cyn’s son.
The OG’s have decided that now that the kids are all adults they can all go in an extended vacation. Hero I’m thinks he is ready for the gavel ( temporarily) but things are about to spin out of control. Including meeting the quirky and cute dog groomer whose shop is across from the clubhouse.
I loved Hero and Reva’s energy together. I cannot wait to read about the rest of the next generation. The book does end in a cliffhanger but I know the next book will be out soon.
Wow, I love this book. This is start of second Generation books. And it was amazing. It has me on my toes wondering what will happen next.
Winter Travers did it again. She hit this book out of the park.
I loved Hero and Reva together, they just fit each other and make each other smile even in the hardest of times.
I loved how they met and made me giggle each time.
I can’t wait for next book to see what happens next.
