Wow! Kyra Fox has immense talent! Zoe and Mac pulled me in immediately. Almost love at first sight but they make it so plausible. Zoe is a legit genius – pair her IQ with her young age and she gets a lot of guys who can’t handle her and run away. Mac has had a lifetime of harsh reality and a devastating family dynamic that keeps him down a dark path of fear and insecurity. Mac and Zoe collide with immediate chemistry, witty banter and all the makings of a HEA. Too bad reality bursts in and when Mac’s past he so desperately wanted to stay a secret comes out and their relationship is put to the test. Kyra has this way of putting it all out there. The ugly in life is not sugar coated but she spins the story so that you can see the other side (even if the characters can’t yet) Main characters and secondary characters alike are so relatable and amazing that you wish you knew them IRL. I’m rooting for everyone from the get go and I’m so glad this is a series so I can see how everyone’s lives turn out. Kudos to Kyra, this series started out with a bang and I can’t wait to keep reading!
This book had my heart bouncing out of my chest as it filled with the love of the characters, then it had it clenching in pain for the characters to then have it repaired again. Fantastically well written and totally captivating! Not only does this story pull you into the characters it also teaches very important life lessons.
Beautifully written and a must read. And damn the steamy sexy time… mmmm mmmm!! Can’t wait to dive straight into book 2.
Well done Kyra Fox, fantastic work!

Second thoughts of walking away and talking to her has helped these to create a one night that way then to more than one type of relationship. Good writing. Very detail on what’s going on. Sweet entertainment
Pass me By is the first book in the BFF Series and also the first book published by Kyra Fox. I have read a couple of her more recent books so it was interesting to read an earlier book, as sometimes authors change their writing and/or storytelling styles. This was an easy story to read. It is sweet, entertaining and has a bit of drama. For me I liked both characters, Mac and Zoe, but I was not bowled over by them. So in the end this was a good read but not outstanding.
I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own so take it for what it is worth, not even a penny if you don’t like it. I know that other readers will love this sweet story so pick it up to read and then make up your own mind.
Zoe is one clever lady with a PHD in Chemical Physics and finds that men are intimidated by her intelligence without getting to know her. Mac is her total opposite but he sees Zoe for all that she is but his past history means that he feels not enough for her. Emotional, heart-breaking and beautiful to read.
