Nell is twenty-six and has never been to Paris. She’s never even been on a romantic weekend away—to anywhere—before. Traveling abroad isn’t really her thing. But when Nell’s boyfriend fails to show up for their mini-vacation, she has the opportunity to prove everyone—including herself—wrong. Alone in Paris, Nell finds a version of herself she never knew existed: independent and intrepid. Could this turn out to be the most adventurous weekend of her life? Funny, charming, and irresistible, “Paris for One” is quintessential Jojo Moyes—as are the other stories that round out the collection.

This is a delightful collection of short stories – it’s a genre I don’t usually care for, but the premise intrigued me and I’m so glad I picked it up. Quite a few of them will stay with me for a long time, as they had just the right amount of meaning and entertainment.
Paris for One and Other Stories is a collection of short stories written by Jojo Moyes. In my opinion, most all of the stories are entertaining and engaging, although some were more enjoyable than others for me personally. Fans of women’s fiction will surely be able to connect with a few if not most of the pieces. It’s a great collection. Check it out!

This is a Moyes fast-track, it includes not just the cover short story but also eight other short stories. It is a quick read in one night or a little here and there. It is hard not to love her characters. Readers will cheer for Nell’s adventures as she reluctantly takes on Paris when here workaholic boyfriend stands her up as she nervously boards the train. But Nell ends up having The BEST Weekend EVER… without him!
I love this author.
A great fan of JoJo and this book was another winner!
Not as good as her first!
I picked this book up because I enjoyed Jojo Moyes other books. I was surprised to see it was a collection of nine short stories. My favorite was the title story Paris for One, which is also the longest one in the book. I thought the stories were lovely a nice change from my normal novels.
Anything by JoJo Moyes is worth reading!
This is a fun read like all of Jojo Myers stories.I save them up until I am ready to enjoy one of her unforgettable stories again as a special treat.
Fun, quick read. A nice romantic interlude with a leading lady I could relate to. Quirky, light, and quite lovely. This is my go-to author when I’m worn out by angst.
Boring book
I love the work of JoJo Moyes but her short stories lack the complex character development that I so value in her full length novels. Still an okay read but nothing to write home about.
Enjoyed for a lite read.
Enjoyable, entertaining read.
This is a compilation of very short stories. The first one is great but the others were just okay.
Not as good as some of her others but I like the author generally
Not as good as her other books!!
The book is several short stories. The first one was cut but I quickly lost interest as I kept reading.
Jojo Moyes keeps you turning the pages and wishing for more with each story. Love this collection.
I like how the heroine in the first story learned important things about herself.
