From the New York Times bestselling author of The Giver of Stars, Paris for One and Other Stories is an irresistibly romantic collection filled with humor and heart. “A vicarious jolt of Parisian romance. . . Delightful.” –People Magazine“An old-fashioned, feel-good love story. . . It’s as if Moyes has booked a vacation and is taking us along. To Paris. Amour!” –USA Today “Dreamy escapism, a … along. To Paris. Amour!” –USA Today
“Dreamy escapism, a book you can curl up with and easily finish over a weekend, with or without a glass of wine.” –Miami Herald
Nell is twenty-six and has never been to Paris. She’s never even been on a romantic weekend away—to anywhere—before. Traveling abroad isn’t really her thing. But when Nell’s boyfriend fails to show up for their mini-vacation, she has the opportunity to prove everyone—including herself—wrong. Alone in Paris, Nell finds a version of herself she never knew existed: independent and intrepid. Could this turn out to be the most adventurous weekend of her life? Funny, charming, and irresistible, “Paris for One” is quintessential Jojo Moyes—as are the other stories that round out the collection.

Lousy. She did it all in the first book. Next two mediocre at best
Great read.
Very simplistic.
I liked the first story but not the rest. Wish the author had continued and rounded out this book
More of a book for women.
Great book. Nell steps out of her comfort zone and has a ball!!!!
This was a delightful read.
Another page turner. I forgot that I like reading short stories. I really enjoyed them all.
This is a collection of short stories, as stated in other reviews the first one is the best, and longest. All are worth the short visit.
Fun characters, easy reading . . . perfect for the beach or other vacation
How great to have several stories at your touch! If one isn’t interesting, you can bet the next one always is! I kept this in the kitchen as I cooked, sitting on a stool waiting for things to finish up. PARIS FOR ONE was sad, funny and a real f.y. to the male jerks in the world. By the way, I am 77!
I loved the first and longest short story in the book. The others were ok.
I am not fond of short stories. I did not know this is what i was buying
good, mostly upbeat short stories
I loved this book – actually I love all Jojo Moyes books. It’s light and easy to read – escapism from my regular routine..
Charming!
I liked Paris for one! I am not in favor of so many short stories; it is switching to another story so often it’s hard to keep track. I do not like this concept of changing to another story…are these thoughts that came to the author for a book and never worked out for a longer story?
I love all her books
I loved the short story format for the stories included in this book!
