Really good !!
Have read the first 5 books of the series, am now reading book number 6. This series is a light, fun, keeps you entertained as you follow the escapades of the people in Paramour Bay. Love Leo as Raven’s familiar, teacher. Good, entertaining series.
I really like these cozy mysteries. I especially love Leo the familiar cat his comments are very funny.
A good book if you like magic, cats and laughs with a few murders to solve along the way.
I read the set of three and thought the 2nd and 3rd book retold the 1st book too much. The author had the characters repeating the same thoughts over and over. I liked the characters
Have three book series, stopped reading after mid-way through second book. Lost interest.
Kept me amused and found them hard to put down!
I like these kind of books
Enjoyable, but story could move a little faster. Since I read as a series, I could have done with a lot less explanation after the first book.
looking forward to reading the rest of the Paramour Bay Mysteries – Kennedy Layne is a great story teller
Fun reading with enjoyable characters. Not into real scary books and these are not, just fun stuff, my speed and quite enjoyable. Enough so that I got the rest of the series… well the ones that were available anyway! Can’t wait for the next one to come out.
I loved this entire series. I don’t k now if I even believe in good witchcraft, but this author draws you right in until you are totally convinced about what is going on. The best part is, the primary character has no idea she even possessed these powers!
This series is fun and entertaining. The characters are funny and likable.
Not great literature, but good reads. Very enjoyable.
First three books in a cozy paranormal mystery series. Coffee lover Raven Marigold inherits a tea shop with some magical house blends, a cat familiar that may have a questionable extended 9th life, and a witchy family family secret. All three keep life interesting in small town Paramour Bay.
This is a compilation of of the first three books in this series. The characters were interesting and quirky; the plots were mostly predictable, but it was a pleasant and relaxing read– perfect for when you just want to relax and not think too much!
I gave this series 2 stars because I read the 3 books one right after the other. Because I did, how much time the author spent rehashing what happened in the previous book or books instead of plot or character development was pretty obvious. This was especially noticeable because the books were relatively short to begin with. Add some persistent grammatical errors plus proof-reading misses, and this was an underwhelming experience for me. Perhaps if I’d waiting long enough to forget the previous book before I read the next one, these issues would not have bothered me so much.
I really enjoyed the story and the characters. I want to read the others in the series. stories were similar but different enough to keep your interest to see “who done it”
I really liked this trilogy. It was light reading but there was a fair amount of magic and the characters were wonderful. I definitely recommend
I didn’t want to put them down. Pretty much read all three straight through. Haven’t had that much fun in a long time!
