Parallax by Gaja J. Kos is a really great story that I have read. This is book number two in this great series that I have enjoyed reading since book one and can not wait to read the next book. I recommend this story to everyone who likes reading about Sci-Fi.

To save herself, Cairo must save the enemy except it might take her death to do it.

Last time we saw Cairo, her crew had been arrested and imprisoned. She had been caught by her sister who is a ranking officer in the SCAR Forces Delta Faction. Then Cairo was sentenced to a fate worse than death, she was made into a tool for SCAR uses.
Now she is made of mechanical parts which everyone can operate at a push of a button, except for her. There is no chance for escape, even when it is right in front of her. She has no choice but to work for SCAR for die.
Gaja J. Kos takes us on a space adventure with lots of action and gun-fighting in Parallax (Boris Kos, B0822G8WMN, 2020) the second book in the “SCAR Forces Delta Faction” series. Kos definitely tests the new body mechanics that Cairo has and gives me heart failure in the process. What fun!
There is high-flying spaceship action, on the ground fighting, betrayals, potential allies, and blood galore. Everything to satisfy an action junkie’s heart. Kos gives us a thrill ride and lets Cairo remain true to her core character.
Oddly enough this book could be read as a standalone as it is a complete story. This does not mean that you should not read the first one!!!! (laugh) I am loving this series. I cannot wait for the next adventure.
I received an ARC of this book and I am writing a review without prejudice and voluntarily.
Our heroine has suffered a fate worse than death, turned into a tool that others control. And yet, she hasn’t given up hope and strives to do what is right, not just what is easy.
This is book two of an action pack science fiction adventure. It actually reads very well as a standalone, but I recommend starting at the beginning so that you understand the situation.
The story is well written, easy to read and full of all the elements that I love in a story. We have action, a bit of intrigue and a good dose of humor as well. I really loved the characters, particularly our heroine, but also some of the new crew. The story is fast paced and easy to read, making it a joy to read. Overall, the series continues to build and I look forward to the next book.
Highly recommended.

A fantastic addition to the SCAR Force: Delta Faction series that will keep you enthralled from start to finish. The action is intense and the characters are fantastically crafted. The plot was well thought out and brilliantly executed. Loyalties will be tested, beliefs will be turned on their head and I cannot wait for the next installment.

From the onset, this book is outstandingly addictive. The backdrop, world, is breathtakingly detailed and forms a wonderful foundation to the storyline. Each character has depth; personalities familiar in their interactions. As the plot takes you on a ln amazing journey you begin to lose yourself in the novel, needing answers that are only hinted at in this book. Part of a series of novels, interconnected, I now eagerly await the next instalment.
