#1 New York Times bestselling author Catherine Coulter delves into the terrifying mind of a dangerous psychopath obsessed with revenge in this next instalment of her riveting FBI series. When an armed man fails to kidnap five-year-old Sean Savich, agents Sherlock and Savich know they’re in his crosshairs and must find him before he continues with his kill list. Chief Ty Christie of Willicott, … Chief Ty Christie of Willicott, Maryland, witnesses a murder a dawn from the deck of her cottage on Lake Massey. When dragging the lake, the divers not only find the murder victim, they also discover dozens of bones. Even more shocking is the identification of a unique belt buckle found among the remains. Working together with Chief Christie, Savich and Sherlock soon discover a frightening connection between the bones and the escaped psychopath.
Paradox is a chilling mix of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, old secrets that refuse to stay buried, and ruthless greed that keeps Savich and Sherlock and Chief Ty Christie working at high speed to uncover the truth before their own bones end up at the bottom of the lake.
With unparalleled suspense and Coulter’s trademark explosive twists, Paradox is the twenty-second FBI thriller.

I loved this book. Hard to put down.
Stood me on my head…did not expect the twist. Of course I’m a Coulter fan.
What a wonderful page turner!! This story starts out with the attempted kidnapping of Sean Savich, an attempt that is foiled by Savich and Sherlock who always have a plan for every contingency. Then in a nearby town Sheriff Ty Christie witnesses a murder from her house on the other side of the lake. When her crew dredges the lake for the body, they find not just the woman victim the sheriff saw, but a bunch of old human bones. These two cases intersect in surprising ways to create another exciting FBI thriller.
I wish that Dillon was less psychic and that there was less repetition of facts.
I have always liked the characters of Savage and Sherlock and this one didn’t pull any punches. When I start reading one of Catherine Coulters books, I know its going to be a lazy couple of days.
Cathrine Coulter FBI series never disappoints. Can’t wait till the next one. Love Savich and Sherlock!!!
Another great addition to the FBI series. I was hooked years ago and anticipate each new one! Catherine Coulter never disappoints!
Great Book. She’s one of my favorite authors. All her books are great.
Love, Love this book. Such depth in the story, with many different characters. I read the book straight through. Very little sleep for me.
I enjoyed the building suspense! I like books by Catherine Coulter. I’ve read most of her FBI books!
I love this series by Catherine Coulter. Once again she has written a story with multiple mysteries interwoven in the plot. I love her characters: Sherlock and Savich. They are smart and extremely capable FBI agents and at the same time loving parents and compassionate people. This is another great read. Lots of fun and many twists that make it a page turner.
As always Savich & Sherlock entertain. Thank you For another of their cases. Also enjoyed the Sheriff and her relationship to Sala, another FBI agent very ionvolved in the case.
Another great book by Catherine Coulter. I have been readidng this author for years, and like this book, they never disappoint. Always thrilling and readable. Page turners and fascinating. Scary realism. I wait for the next one always. The ending was a surprise, leaving me wanting more.
Good read.
Loved this book. Kept me hooked until the end
I see a romance developing but the overall story was very predictable.
Catherine Coulter has written another masterful piece of work. The plot is filled with twist and turns that will awe and surprise you. Sherlock and Savich are superb as ever. Sala and Ty are two new characters who have seamlessly fit into the story. They will make for great future stories as their relationship develops. Sean is a hoot as he becomes a mini adult and strives to take on the characteristics of his dad Savich. The information in the story is solid showing the depth and knowledge of the author’s research. You will never see the ending she has prepared for you coming but you will certainly enjoy ever moment of it.
This is the first book that I’ve read by Ms. Coulter. I was immediately drawn into the story. I’m a big fan of shows like Criminal Minds, and this book reminded me of that. Even though this is book 22 in a series, I was able to read it and enjoy it without having much of a back story. In fact, this book has me excited to perhaps go back and read earlier entries in the series.
There were two main mysteries going on and everything was intertwined. The author kept me guessing with lots of twists and turns. I was able to figure most of it out right before the reveal – but the author did surprise me with one final twist that I didn’t see coming. Overall a great story and worth reading.
I checked this ebook out of the library to read for an online book club meeting. My review is not influenced in any way and all thoughts/opinions are my own.
This is an excellent book. This is the first time I’ve ever read a book by Catherine Coulter but I can tell you it will not be the last. It is full of so many twists and turns and shocking surprises. Both good and not so good! I really recommend you read this one, you won’t be sorry!
A wonderful FBI series, of which I’ve read a few, but this by far is the best. I can’t wait to pick up those I’m missing out of the series to enjoy. This exciting story has romance, action, and mystery. Just try too figure it out before the end!
