From USA Today Bestselling author Kimberly Knight comes book six in her strong, sexy, and suspenseful Saddles & Racks series. The bad boy … Growing up, Nicholas Hawkins was always the life of the party, and that hasn’t changed. The only difference is that now he gets paid to do it—literally. He’s the last man standing, so to speak, from his group of friends of Saddles & Racks. He plans to … Saddles & Racks. He plans to be a male escort for as long as women still book dates with him, and he hopes that’s for many, many, many more years.
The nerd …
Ashleigh James got the brains when it came to her and her twin sister, Everleigh. Growing up, all the boys wanted to date the pretty sister, and that didn’t change when Ashleigh brought home her boyfriend during college. Everleigh wasted no time hooking up with Ashleigh’s beau, leaving the sisters estranged for several years until Ashleigh receives her sister’s wedding invitation. Turns out, Everleigh is marrying the man she stole—and in Fiji no less.
The ruse …
Not wanting to show up alone, Ashleigh’s best friend talks her into hiring a male escort to bring with her to paradise. A bad boy who is the complete opposite of her ex. Since Nick is the last to fall, his friends bet him that he’ll find love during the weeklong trip. Neither one expects anything to happen except nightly fun while pretending they’re dating. When the attraction between the two is undeniable, they both fight their desire toward each other because one can’t fall for someone they hired to date, and the other can’t lose a bet.
But the two might not have to worry about their feelings because Mother Nature has other plans that will leave everyone running, kidnapped, or …
Dead.

This was another solid offering from this series! Ashleigh needed a date to her twin sister’s wedding so she hired Nick as her escort. Ashleigh didn’t want to go to the wedding because her sister was marrying Ashleigh’s ex-boyfriend in a destination wedding in Fiji. The story was full of twists and turns and it was so fun to read! Nick surprised me in this story. He was definitely book boyfriend material!
Thank you so much for the privilege of reading this book! Well done
I received an ARC of this book for an honest review.
Saddles & Racks is back and this time its Nick’s turn to join the “Fallen” as they call it. Nick has always been one of my favorites when I read this series and to see him finally meet the girl who brings him to his knees… well it was perfection.
Nick and Ashleigh are perfection. From the moment they met, you feel the sparks fly. But in typical S&R fashion, things aren’t as easy as they seem. Filled with suspense and steam, this book was definitely everything I’ve come to love from Kimberly and her series.
This book, like all of the others, hooks you in from the very beginning and refuses to let you go. You are drawn into Ashleigh’s heartbreak and betrayal, swooped into Nick as he makes you swoon time and time again.
Four stars for this romance that has a bit of suspense and a whole lot of steam.
Paradise and Vodka is book 6 in the Saddles and Rack series by Kimberly Knight. I love this series so much and this book definitely doesn’t disappoint. Nick and Ashleigh’s story take you on a wild ride of suspense, natural disasters, kidnapping, betrayal and of course romance. I loved seeing Nick the bad boy fall hopelessly in love and Ashleigh finding the love of her life after all she went through. I can’t recommend this book enough. It deserves so much more than 5 stars!
This is one of my favorite series and I couldn’t wait for Nick’s story. She never disappoints with the perfect combo of steamy sex one minute and drama and suspense the next. You will read this in one sitting like I did because Ashleigh and Nick have this chemistry that sucks you in. Mix the rest of the crew and you lose all track of time. Don’t miss out.
This is # 6 in the series of Saddles and Racks.
This is Nicks story. He has no intentions of falling in love and becoming one of The Fallen. He is an escort who is hired by Ashleigh. She is in need of a date to her sisters destination wedding. Her family had never treated her fairly compared to her sister who has done her wrong in the past. Nick is the one person who has her back while in Fiji. There are some twist and turns in this story that I didn’t see coming. Ashleigh is totally a heroin you will love. We finally get to learn more about Nick who we Seen in the other novels but haven’t got to learn too much about until now.
Overall a great read. I would recommend reading the other books in there series and reading them in order before starting this one, but it is not a must. You won’t be lost if you started with this book first.
STOP! If you haven’t read the rest of the Saddles and Racks collection, go read them NOW! This book contains spoilers! Trust me, you won’t regret reading the others!!
What is there NOT to love about Nick?! Nick works at Saddles and Racks, and loves his his job. He has no desire to have a serious relationship. Nick’s happily ever after certainly doesn’t involve one woman, marriage, and settling down.
Ashleigh has always dreamed of a settling down and marrying the perfect man and having children. When things don’t work out with Douglas, she is heartbroken. But she simply can’t go to her twin sister’s wedding without a date.
When Ashleigh hired Nick to be her date to her sister’s wedding, neither envisioned the crazy rollercoaster ride that was about to happen. Beautiful Fiji sparked the romance and passion Ashleigh always wanted. However, the drama within her family lingered. When all hell broke loose, Ashleigh and Nick thought they had escaped, only to find themselves in a worse situation.
You can’t help but fall in love with Nick and Ashleigh, but will they survive paradise? Will they get a happily ever after?
Paradise and Vodka is Nick’s story. He is an escort for Saddles and Racks. He’s the last of his friends to get out of the business and has no plans of ever doing so. Ashleigh James is a smart woman who loses her serious boyfriend to her twin sister Everleigh when she brings him home to meet her family. Her parents took Everleigh’s side in the situation, so Ashleigh has kept her distance from her family for years. That is until she gets an invitation to her sisters and her exes wedding in Fiji. Her best friend talks her into hiring an escort for her date to the wedding. Nick and Ashleigh are very attracted to each other and he plays the best boyfriend in front of her family. After things go crazy I’m Fiji, the two of them realize that maybe there’s more than sexual chemistry between the two. I loved the easiness of Nick and Ashleigh’s relationship. I loathed Ashleigh’s family. Especially her twin sister. Paradise and Vodka also had a bit of suspense. I loved that part of the story. Kimberly knight wrote another wonderful Saddle and Racks love story.
This is book six of the Saddles & Racks series and absolutely incredible!. Ashleigh hasn’t spoken to her sister in years, since she stole her boyfriend. Ashleigh needs a date to her sister’s wedding in Fiji, and she hires a male escort from Saddles & Racks, and Nick is her date. Nick is all about fun and is adamant that he won’t fall in love. But what will happen while they’re in paradise? This book was absolutely amazing, with drama, suspense, and steamy chemistry. It’s a book I highly recommend, in fact I recommend the complete series, they are definite must reads.
Overall great story. Loved catching up with characters from previous books. This story was full of a lot of drama but over all great read
Paradise & Vodka was the perfect book to read during this quarantine. I didn’t know how much I needed Nick and Ashleigh’s story until I started it and ended up reading it one sitting. It was a true page-turner that I couldn’t put down.
I don’t think we knew much about Nicholas Hawkins until this book. He is among the youngest members of Saddles and Racks, funny yet cocky. A true lady’s man. He has vowed not to become a part of The Fallen. Being in love? Not his thing or that’s what he thought until he gets to spend a week in Fiji with one gorgeous Ashleigh James, who hires him to be her fake boyfriend during her twin’s destination wedding.
It’s impossible not to like Ashleigh. She is smart, gorgeous without putting an effort and nice. Although they keep remaining themselves that love is not an option, the trip will prove that if it’s meant to me it will. Leave it to mother nature to unleashed chaos and force them to face their feelings. Maybe being in love and part of The Fallen is not that bad. Because when it comes to danger, Nick will do anything to make sure Ashleigh is safe.
Another amazing part of Paradise & Vodka was catching up with all the Saddles & Racks couples. If I’m being honest, I missed them! This is such a great series, and the book is a fantastic addition.
