Two best friends. An interesting proposal. Best idea ever…or it could be the worst. Gibson is the visionary. Sam is his anchor. Gibson had this great idea. What if he and Sam were to pretend they were a couple? Everyone would believe it. They already do everything together anyway. He’d love nothing more than to have Sam sit beside him at the Thanksgiving dinner table. It took some persuasion, … persuasion, but Sam has finally agreed to the ruse.
Sam’s father, Charles Ellis, has an opinion on the matter. Gibson is not good enough for his daughter, and he has the perfect person to prove it. His new apprentice, Greg.
A simple charade, meant to make Gibson and Sam’s lives easier, takes the two best friends through twists and turns that test the foundation of their friendship. This could bring them closer? Or will it prove that Sam’s father was right all along?
Paradise Hills Thanksgiving is a small town, feel-good, love story that readers of Hallmark Channel stories would enjoy.

Sweet romance story. Gibson and Sam friends forever, their pretend romance and their meddling family members cause much confusion. Love these characters. Lots of fun and laughter. Will definitely read more by those author

Gibson and Sam have been friends since forever and Gibson decides to ask Sam to pretend to be his girlfriend to get his family off his back about finding someone and it would make Sams life easy too. Well you know the saying of the best laid plans ….. True feelings come out as well as confusion and strain to their relationship/friendship and throw in meddling family members and Gibson and Sam have a tough time ahead of them. I did love how Sam’s relationship with her Dad finally turns the corner into more than a distant parent and Gibson learns the reason why he wants to find someone so its up to Sam and Gibson to work out do they want more or should I say will they be honest with how they really feel about each other!!! Just loved this book and can’t wait for the next one!!!

Paradise Hills Thanksgiving #3 – I lost my second book of this series to vandals, but I did not need it to enjoy this addition to the series. This clean, interesting small town romance came with the author’s usual good storylines blended well with decent, normal characters set amid vividly described locations and happenings. This is a delightful, heartwarming, easy to read story that leaves a smile even after the last page is read. I contacted the author to review her books. 4*
Paradise Hills Summer #1 – I like the pretty cover on this book and the contents were not bad either. While this book was not on my list of favorites by this author, I did find the clean, easy to read story interesting. Ms. Maywether sets her stories in small towns of Montana using real towns and people for her inspirations. PHS is another series following this writing style. Good storylines, good characters and interesting journeys come easily to this good author. 4*
Home for Good – Like all of the books I have read by Ms. Maywether, this is another well written, interesting story in the Three Creek series. All the characters are likeable, realistic and everyday sorts. The storylines are interesting and keep the reader immersed in the TC world. 5*
Welcome Home – An interesting romance in the brewing between two life long friends. All the characters were interesting and realistic, along with strong personality traits of their own. The only problem, my first with this lovely author, is how quick everyone turned their backs on a close friend, since childhood. The lack of communication between everyone disappointed me. I hope Ms. Maywether doesn’t change her style of her writing, she’s such an interesting writer. Other than my little peeve, this is a lovely romance with touches of humor. 5*
Let The Games Begin – Wow, this story contains so many different stories through the course of its telling. Heartwarming and fun, the plot just continues on while branching into more and more of the stories that make this book. The loving characters just draw the reader to them and their actions and dialog are so realistic; no stupid formula here. Ms. Maywether does a wonderful job with her writing and vivid descriptions; a simple but substantial book. 5*
Just A Friend – Another wonderful, entertaining story by Ms. Maywether. This book is well written, entertaining delight to read. There’s realistic, likable characters with good dialog, no stupid formula and a fun plot to get immersed in for a little while. A nice way to relax for an hour or so. 5*
Get Well Soon – Another wonderful, entertaining story by this author. A well written, funny romance and a quick marriage between two best friends of over 30 years. The characters are great and likable, and the dialog is realistic. They work out their new relationship, while remaining best friends, as one thing after another works against their marriage and trust. An enjoyable way to spend an evening is reading this story. 5*
Underneath The Mistletoe – A quickly read, sweet story about a guy trying to get a kiss from a woman who is seven years older than him. A heartwarming and fun Christmas story with her family and a man too far from home for the holidays. This is my first story by this author. 5*
