This held my interest. I’d read more from this author.
Interesting murder mystery, but all the swooning over hulky, yet forbidden males make it a bit saccharine.
One of three books set in the Amish community that I enjoyed enough to finish.
Good development of characters and plot. recommend this mystery
A fascinating and entertaining book involving a serial killer targeting Amish women that focuses as much on the unique nature of Amish communities as on finding the killer. In the end, paper roses the killer left at the murder scenes and romance books all the victims read unveils the identity of the killer to Serenity.
I enjoy reading about other cultures and the Amish is one I am not that familiar with I really enjoyed reading 3 of the books in this series!!
I really enjoyed this book, just as I did the previous one. It moved along mixing both mystery, romance and solid sleuthing.
I really enjoyed the myseries and yes there are basically two and enjoyed the characters. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is a descriptive sex scene. I recommend as long as you don’t mind skipping a few pages.
I like these books with this character and Amish.
This book had me guessing the entire time. I will probably read her next one in this series.
Reading about the Amish faith is always interesting to me…this book is a little different
because the story line includes the English involved.
The Sheriff and her fiancé, her friend that has moved there and the young Amish man who is widowed all make up an interesting group alone…then you mix in young Amish girls that were murdered and you have a story line that is full of twists and turns.
This is a book that grabs your attention at the start and runs thru the rest of the pages!
It didn’t take me long to reach a point of hating to put the book down. Just enough romantic interest to be enjoyable without taking away from what this book is…a thriller. Plenty of suspects to wonder about, and a good, not great conclusion.
Worth reading or I would have put it down. Up there with the best thrillers I’ve read? No.
Another excellent book in this series by this author that is about crime in an Amish community. Love all of the characters as well as the fact that these books in this series do not have to be read in a certain order. Could not put this book down!
Found this a very good read!
Interesting portrayal of the Amish community. Good who done it
Great- Learned some of Amish life that wasn’t always peaceful,
Kept wanting more.
A different twist of a whodunnit. Set in Amish land.
I love this book. I’ve gone back and read her other books in the series which come before this one.
I’d give it 10 Stars! One of the best books I’ve read in a long time!
I enjoyed the book. Easy read but good plot.
