A mate denied. A new chapter begun. Escape, however, is but an illusion.Lainie Everest refused to be a pawn in her father’s selfish schemes, and the only way to escape the forced mating he has planned is to join her brother in the paranormal town of Bull Creek. Eager to start a new chapter in her life, she leaves Draven Falls, her father’s unscrupulous plans, and the man she refused to marry … marry behind. Yet, while she never looked back, she should have kept looking over her shoulder.
A promise was made to Miles Hemingway, a deal brokered by Daniel Everest for his daughter’s hand. Lainie, however, believes she can simply run away from Miles, breaking that promise. Escape is not that easy, though. He will have what was promised, even if Lainie has to become a PANTHER HUNTED.

Lainie is moving to Bull Creek with her brother, Dimitri mainly to get out from under her father’s insistence that she marry Miles. She never thought Miles would follow her and put her into danger. Good story with strong character portrayals. Great Bull Creek Chronicles read!

Amazing book. Great prequel to the series. As always Robbie does an amazing job. This book can be read as a standalone but really why would you not want to continue reading the series. I can’t wait to see what Robbie has in store for the next book in the series.
WOW. I loved this book. The storyline was unique, fun, at times thoughtful and mostly just plain sizzling. I loved the fact our characters were strong and vibrant.

An interesting shifter romance with a twist.
I enjoyed reading about Laine but ended up confused as to where this one ended. Josh met his mate, Alanna, and they went to make sure Laine made it to Bull Creek safely. Along the way, they explored a threesome but by the end, Laine knew it wasn’t permanent but she had yet to meet her mate. So really, this story was more about Josh and Alanna than Laine unless I missed something.
This is the second book in the Bull Creek Chronicles and really needs to be read in the order it is written.

PANTHER HUNTED is the second book in the Bull Creek Chronicles series. These do need to be read in the order of release.
I would say that this series is a companion to the Destined Mates Series and should be read one for one. Read PANTHER HUNTED and then read MATE’S TOUCH (book 3 in the Destined Mates series). Where the Bull Creek Chronicles are all about suspense, the Destined Mates series is all about the romance after they make their home in Bull Creek. Together, these two series provide a full spectrum of the people and the love for the land they have declared to be their home.
The suspense of PANTHER HUNTED is Lainie’s story. It is scary. It’s sweet and it’s sexy. It’s all about growing up and claiming yourself and you’re not backing down – even if it is family who tries to corner you.
I felt for Lainie. I know the deep hurt of failed family support. (On the positive side, it wasn’t all of her family.)
I loved the descriptive writing and the suspense. I think I’m still holding my breath! There is great action, a little bit of sexy time, and a lot of heart.
Pick up the first book. Then pick up this one… then… the next book is called BEAR NECESSITIES – a title that is already bringing a smile to my face.
Note: While I received this book as a gifted ARC via Booksprout, my opinions are my own and are given freely.
I was excited to read this book. After Lainie’s brother Dimitri moved to Bull Creek to become Alpha of the town, Lainie is on her last two with the Sheriff’s department before she goes too. Her father still hasn’t given up on using her for his own purposes. He made a business deal with her as the payment to get what he wants. We met Miles, the lunatic Lainie was promised to, in the last book and the guy is a total creep. This story had me cringing and on the edge of my chair with suspense. I was excited when she made it to Bull Creek but that wasn’t the end. I love all of the characters in Bull Creek. Josh and Alanna are a breath of fresh air for Lainie. I requested an advanced reader copy from Booksprout and am under no obligation to leave this review.
Strong women and and intense males. This is a well-written panther shifter romance with Strong Characters with intense emotions. This book will have you feeling right along with the characters. A must read

PANTHER HUNTED is a sequel to ALPHA RISING and it could be difficult t read the story without the knowledge of the first book, although the author is trying to cover all necessary information. It would definitely enrich your reading enjoyment to know the background of the characters involved, as the beginning of this story lies in the first book of the series.
In short: Leini tries to avoid an arranged marriage with someone she really does not like, helped by her brother and his best friend. The man she is supposed to marry goes after her when she moves to a new town….
A good read, thrilling and action packed.

The second book in The Bull Creek Chronicles series a short well written continuation of the first story, I want to read the next book. Lainie is one very strong woman I enjoyed reading this book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Lainie Everest refused to agree to the arranged marriage, the “forced mating, her father had set up where she has no choice. So she decides to leave Draven Falls and join her brother, Dimitri, in Bull Creek, a town that offers a new life with no questions asked. Unknown to her, Miles Hemingway is unwilling to let her go. She was promised to him and he intends to have her make good on that promise, regardless of her feelings on the matter.
Lainie starts to enjoy her new life with friends and a job and no pressures. But then she feels as if she is being stalked. Is she in danger? Will she and her friends be able to fight back and get her away from this situation?
This story was well-written, filled with suspense, vivid descriptive writing, and wonderful characters to bring the story to life. I love to see the strong females push back when the males make decisions for them. Lots of things happening here, so grab your copy and start reading!
This is the 5th book I’ve read written by Robbie Cox; he has done a great job at writing a good book; I will definitely be reading more of his books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the characters.

This is a new author to me & I found this shifter romance to be well-paced & slightly steamy with an intriguing plot. The characters are strong-willed & well-developed individuals.
There is: a defiant female panther & deputy sheriff (Lainie) rejects her father’s (Daniel) scheme for a forced mating to a despicable male (Miles) & leaves to join her brother (Dimitri), a paranormal council, various kinds of shifters, vampires, drama, intrigue, suspense, twists & turns, danger, threats, a stalker, adventure, action, disagreements, threats, defiance, brotherly concern, ultimatums, bullets flying, physical conflict, romance, passion & some steam.
I enjoyed this book. There are panther shifters as well as other types of shifters. The main character is a strong woman who is placed in a bad situation by her own father. It is a good book. I recommend it.

OMG!
“Panther Hunted” is an edge of your seat, action-packed, exciting paranormal tale that is well-written with amazing characters. Panther Hunted is Lainie’s tale. Lainie is a strong, no-nonsense panther shifter who is being stalked by the man her father sold her to and she is not having it. Lainie moves to Bull Creek to be with Demitri, her brother with the help of her ex Josh and his girlfriend, Alanna. This is a rollercoaster ride of passion and action. A not to be missed tale! I highly recommend this book.

This is a continuation of the Bull Creek Chronicles with the story specific to Lainie and her leaving her home to follow her brother Dimitri to Bull Creek. Because of threats from her father regarding her contracted marriage to Miles, Dimitri sends Josh to Draven Falls to help Lainie move to Florida. There is an added twist of Josh’s mate/girlfriend, Alanne bringing Lainie into their sexual relationship. There is a lot of action in this story which keeps the suspense high at times. The book is well written, entertaining and holds your attention. I would highly recommend this book as a great read.
Panther Hunted, The Bull Creek Chronicles by Robbie Cox follows Lainie Everest’s last days in Draven Falls to her first days in Bull Creek and her new life. Bull Creek is a place welcome to shifters and humans alike wanting to start a new life, no questions asked.
Lanie refused to be part of the arranged marriage her father had planned for her and decided the move to join her brother in Florida and a new life was what she needed. Now in Bull Creek, she has no time or need of a man, her new friends and career are enough. That is until she is sure she’s being stalked.
The characters are interesting and well written. It’s fast paced, easy to follow and gets you right in the middle of things quickly, along with some steam, while addressing today’s issues of prejudice.
