First Bella Jewel novel and it won’t be my last!! I wasn’t aware until I started this book that this was the “Next Generation” of the MC Sinners or I would have read the original MC Sinners series first because just from hearing about the original guys in this book DAMN I bet they were good!!
There’s nothing I love more than a biker family and that is exactly what Ava has. She has grown up surrounded by her Dad’s club her whole life and it is the life she knows and the life she adores. One night that club puts her in danger, and she gets taken outside of her work by a ruthless man. Ava has to make a decision that will shape her entire life and could very well end up being what drowns her.
Lukas has been through more in his life than one person should ever have to endure. He’s damaged, brooding and completely cut off from his emotions until one night he finds a broken girl who has the potential to bring his heart back to life. Luke has is issues but will stop at nothing to protect this girl.
This story is dark, filled with romance, even a couple steamy scenes that just about made my toes curl. Pandemonium pulled me in and never let me go. I can’t wait to dive into the next book and find out where this story is going to go with the MC Sinners.
I am so glad I took a chance on this book. This was an emotional, intense, captivating, and heartwarming journey to go on with Ava and Lucas. I enjoyed every phenomenal moment of this story.
Holy fudgesticks, I think this one broke me. Like ugly cry, broke me! Ava is the Prez’s daughter, full of sass, surrounded by love. Her Dad is her hero. When an enemy takes her, determined to break her and in turn break Jackson, she is desperate to hide it. But she is spiralling, slowly drowning. Lucas finds her at her most vulnerable and sees some of himself in her. He won’t let her drown!
God this couple!! This gave me all the feels, sucking me into the darkness and had me crying like a baby for Ava and for what Lucas had lost too. They are like two broken puzzle pieces that just fit each other.
I thought I loved the MC Sinners series, but Lord …this one!!!
Warning…I cried almost throughout this entire book! I loved the MC Sinners series and I was hesitant to read this series because sometimes authors just can’t quite pull off second generation books. Bella Jewel had NO problem whatsoever making the Knights’ and Sinners’ offspring their own loving individuals with amazing personalities. This book, though…this book crushed me from the first chapter and kept making my heart do flip-flops until the very end. Bravo to you, Ms. Jewel! Can’t wait to read Mercy’s story next!!
I had high expectations for this book as its a fave MC series of mine and I was craving more MC Sinner and was happy the children of the next generation were carrying on the stories.
I have to say I was disappointed it’s not the gritty and dirty story I have grown to love from Bella.
Tragedy hits Ava and Lucas now they both have to find a way to deal with the aftermath.
You get drama and hot sex scenes which is expected but I found it really hard to get into it and the interesting parts came at the end.
I did however like the relationship between Jackson and Ava the fact that she worships her old man and the close relationship they have.
I also enjoyed the relationship between Ava and Lucas he was very swoon worthy.
‘My girls on the ground and I’m the only she needs, move or I will make you’.
I thought their dynamic made this a good read.
