What a fun and unique storyline. Good characters, though it took me awhile to like them. Wish I could have explored the outside boundaries but maybe that’s yet to come. Will definitely read more by this, new to me, author

I found this to be a well written cozy with an unusual premise. The characters were fun and eccentric and the setting was terrific. There were plenty of twist to keep me guessing. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice weekend read.

This is an absolutely fantastic cozy mystery first book with the best characters. I love Ella and her quirky sidekicks. This book is extremely well-written by an obviously talented author (this is the second series I have read with this author). There are plenty of twists to keep me guessing throughout the book and it is so riveting that I was unable to put this book down. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.

Ella is on her way home when she has a car accident and stumbles across a small town that seems to be stuck in the 1950s. She soon finds out that the town is moving through time and space and that she now is a permanent member of the town. As if that were not enough, a young woman is being killed, and she tries to find the murderer….
I have some small trouble with Ella as a character, she is not the kind of girl I enjoy reading about, but that is a personal thing.
All in all it is an entertaining story with a less common story background.

I loved the unique idea behind this series. Ella stumbles into an unknown town and gets herself in the middle of a murder mystery while waiting for her car to be fixed and finds a motley group of quirky crazy characters. It was a super fun read and look forward to see what comes next for the town of Keystone and Ella and all of the gang.

Pancakes and Poison is the first book in A Traveling Town Mystery series. This is a very entertaining story, witty and original. The storyline is well written and unique, with an entire town that travels around the world. The characters are well developed and different since many of them came from different times or places.
I loved this story and can’t wait for the next one in this unusual series!

Ella is driving home in a snowstorm when a flash of light, a slam of the brakes, and a drop in a snowdrift begins her adventure. At this point, I am as clueless as Ella, and at the mercy of Author, Ami Diane. I won’t give spoilers, however, I enjoyed the journey and recommend this novel.

This is an entertaining and unique story with a cast of wonderful characters. The author does a great job developing the story and pulling you in with all the mystery and humor. It’s an intriguing time travel book , is well written with detailed scenes and had me hooked from beginning to end. I enjoyed and would recommend reading.

What a great start to a series. I thoroughly enjoyed it and could not put it down until I had finished. I will definitely be reading more from this author. Who ever heard of a whole town that time travels. I laughed so much, not about the murder, but some of the other things were hilarious.

Unique twist in a cozy.
Ready for a cozy will this one is a good one to check out. Make sure your imagination is ready because you just may need it when you come to the little town of mystery. Ella and the other characters were such fun. The unexpected twist will make this one just a bit more than a cozy. Super book! I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
I’ve read plenty of fiction with subplots of mystery, but I think this is the first I’ve read that was classified as a cozy mystery. I was really pleasantly surprised and thought it was quite entertaining. Being a huge fan of time travel, I thoroughly appreciated those details and enjoyed the paranormal aspects a lot. I totally liked Ella as the main character and was entertained by her POV as she experienced getting stuck in Keystone Village. Her personality and wit made me chuckle and even laugh numerous times! Will, Wink, Flo, Jimmy, Rose, Six, Fluffy and Chester, Chapman,… they all added color and depth to the plot; I would definitely like to read more about them and the town that jumps through time and space. I will undoubtedly look for more installments in this series and by this author!
4.5 stars really like
You need a little bit of imagination for the beginning. And I happen to have that in spades 🙂 But seriously, that was fun. I really liked the different approach. At times the sentences were just a bit short, making it feel like a summing-up, but overall it was well-written and enjoyable! I immediately took a liking to it. It felt cozy (even though it starts with snow lol). Pleasant!
