“An entertaining and amusing ride” – Kirkus ReviewsVasily Zinoviev is the last man on earth you want to say no to. Living in a $20 million oceanfront mansion with a harem of mistresses, Vasily … mansion with a harem of mistresses, Vasily and his brother are more than a handful for Palm Beach homicide detective Charlie Crawford. Mystery, thriller, the quirky goings on of the rich and felonious Palm Beachers. Original and engaging.
This one should be 4 3/4. Very well written and believable. Great book.
I enjoyed this Charlie Crawford detective story so much ! Plot kept me guessing as to actual culprit, even though they a suspect, and persons of interest. I enjoyed this novel so much, I realized it was book 2 in a series and went and read PALM BEACH NASTY, the first in the series. Think others will enjoy these two as well.
Really enjoyed! Good writing, good mix of mystery, some comical moments.
Very interesting read with enough characters and plot twists to keep you reading.
I enjoyed reading this book from start to finish,
Loved it
Haven’t quite finished it, but it did hold my attention. Somewhat unorthodox murders.
Can’t wait to read more adventures of this former NYC cop in Palm Beach. Reminds me of Stuart Woods
It was a mildly entertaining mystery in which the main character/police detective is absolutely irrestible to beautiful women and all the female characters are beautiful. The other main character is the decadent world of Palm Beach and you learn more than you want to know about it. If it’s as violent a place as described in this potboiler, I would steer clear of this town.
Entertaining read.
Not a usual run of the mill crime story, had some uncommon twists, creative offenses and some good detecting.
not enough story development. to quick with change of action not enough character development
Fast-paced, love the characters!
Will look for more books in this series Easy fast read
Kinda slow start – but then WHAM – couldn’t put it down til I’d read it all! Looking forward to reading more by Tom Turner
I purchased the sequel after reading this book.
Great fun reading waiting for more
A too predictable trash talk. Not interesting.
Homicide cop Charlie Crawford moves to Palm Beach from New York for a change of scenery and weather. We follow him through the investigation of murders at the hands of the Russian mafia. A very entertaining who done it book. The author described the characters so well I could easily picture them, plus their personality descriptions made for some colorful individuals.
