The outcome is fairly predictable but the characters and setting are lovely. A very enjoyable ready, indeed.
Enjoyed the characters and the location in the Cotswolds. Made me want to
visit there.
I really loved the story line. It was poignant, real and had great characters.
Predictable
Very good book. Liked the main characters and descriptions of the country.
Interesting twist on receiving an inheritance.
I thought this was a very good book. Shows that every family has buried secrets, but even that and space can’t keep them apart forever.
An ok book. Worth finishing
characters are believeable and plot draws you in.
Could not put it down
Predictable
This was a nice, easy read but was too predictable.
I didn’t care for it
The main character inherits her aunt’s home and art gallery. Lots of surprises await her with romance coming eventually.
Having never been to England, I found this to be quite interesting. The author is descriptive and detailed without becoming boring. The story itself was predictable in its outcome but took several twists and turns in the process.
Noelle leaves her home to move to her late great-aunt’s home after her passing. She realizes that her aunt, a well-known artist was a recluse for many of her last years. A refreshing story without vile language or steamy sex scenes. Noelle is reunited with her childhood friend Adam, and realizes that she has deep feelings for him. I won’t …
I enjoyed this book, even though it seemed pretty unlikely to have happened in the real world.
A feel good story.
The story drew me in from the beginning. I liked the format of switching between the two time periods. As mJoann learned things it made me eager for the next revelation from the past.
nice yarn, may try to find others by her
