I almost cried at the “ending” and was definitely sad when it really ended.
It is not extremely detailed or too graphic but just enough. It is a bit crazy and twisted but you can’t help but love the “bad guy”. I am not sure I agree with the anniversary gift. Would that really fit her personality?
100-140 pages per section of the book @ $1.99 each but still worth it.
This series is the best discovery of my 2020
It’s mindblowing and twisted, and i loved each word to the point i’m seriously obsessed with it!!!
I’ve never been so involved,
never questioned my morals so much before ….
Wrong and right, good and bad lose their meaning, and all that remains is the knowledge that sometimes revenge is more valuable than justice.
Lana Myers is not an heroine, she is a broken girl they have turned in a monster.
But it takes a monster to destroy another one, and that’s exactly what she did.
And i couldn’t love her more because after everything she went through, she found the strength to survive, to fight, to win against all those who failed her, to LOVE….
So yeah it’s a f*cking masterpiece
A serial killer dating a FBI profiler who hunts serial killers.. Now that’s a premise that hooked me. This 5 part series hooked me from the first book all the way to the twisted and crazy conclusion. For those that like twisted reads with a great story line I highly recommend.
Talk about going out with a bang! Wow! I was so hooked on this series! Glad it came to a end where literally everything work out as it should!
Total exhilarating ride from beginning to end so a 4 star read for me overall.
No spoilers so I’ll be stingy on details. The finale of the piece didn’t fall apart so much as develop some big holes in regard to evil doers. Something I may redress for myself by going back and re-reading. My other concern and it’s a little silly in regard to the whole concept of a serial killer and a do-good FBI agent falling in love is how accurate is this in terms of the FBI? And is that really important? The bad guy hole issue, the FBI accuracy and the ending had me raising my eyebrow metaphorically a couple of times, but the overall read over five books with both the hero and the heroine’s inner dialogue as well as their passionate interaction had me sold.
As I mentioned in All the Lies, this is not for the faint of heart as the heroine has more and more flashbacks of the completely and totally horrific event that changed her forever as well as her vengeance.
Her efforts to maintain a grasp on reality, her deserved need to find retribution as well as the romance make her one kick ass heroine.
Wow! Book #5 in the Mindf*ck Series is just fantastic! It’s dark, grisly, edge of your seat stuff that I couldn’t put down. There’s also plenty of heartbreak, revenge, suspense, and of course romance. This series is by far one of the best I’ve ever read. Brilliant!

So, this was the final book in the Mindf*ck series and I have to say that although I went into it thinking I wouldn’t like the shorter length novels, I was so very wrong.
It worked perfectly for this series.
It gave me time in between books to absorb and think about exactly what was going on, before rushing onto the next part of the story, and I feel like that was important. So that each instalment had the impact it deserved.
I am so sorry to be saying goodbye to these characters because I absolutely loved them.
LANA
What can I say? Everyone who has been affected by rape, abuse and gross injustice needs a Lana.
Personally, I would like to be a Lana (yes, I realize I just admitted to wanting to be like a murdering psychopath).
She overcame so much and became another person entirely. Who knows what she would have been if not for this horrific experience.
I will say that I think we all have that little bit of darkness inside us. What it takes to come out..? It’s different for everyone but it is there.
LOGAN
I wondered what he would do when he found out who Lana really was, and I certainly got my answer.
My heart was pounding in my chest when he reacted the way he did and a tear or two may have escaped at all the pain surrounding these two.
I won’t say what happened exactly but…he hurt my feelings a little.
JAKE
I feel Jake needs to be acknowledged. He is the rock that Lana needed in order to heal and grow. He was there through everything. I wish I had a friend like this. Actually, I wish I had a friend at all! But that’s another story, lol.
He deserves someone special after all this time.
Anyway, I also love this guy.
Ah hell, I love them all.
FINAL THOUGHTS on PAINT IT ALL RED bu S.T. Abby
This series is one that sucks you in and doesn’t let go. Even after it’s finished.
It makes you feel things you might not be ready to feel.
It makes you question what you think you know about yourself.
Excellent series.
5 Stars
I’m writing this review to cover the entire series because my book buddy and I spent an entire week and binge read these…
Where to begin?
This story was entertaining, I had a great deal of fun trying to figure out who the “original” bad guy was that started our heroine on her carefully plotted and planned out vengeance.
Personally I’m a sucker for vigilante justice, but Lana’s new love, FBI profiler Logan…not so much. In my opinion, the bad guys didn’t get nearly what they deserved and I’m not really sure in the end it brought Lana much peace.
I highly recommend you grab this series, the writing was stellar, the story was well-crafted and entertaining and I confess, I guessed wrong about who started all of this! Darn it!
