If you could step into the pages of any book… just how special the collection was…
April soon discovers the library’s secret: a magical portal that opens to the worlds of books…
and she’s been selected to be the portal’s new guardian: the Pagewalker.
The gate shows her things beyond her wildest imagination and introduces her to larger-than-life characters, but is she ready for this responsibility?
When an ancient organization determined to eradicate magic from the world seeks to destroy the gate, April must team up with a diverse cast of characters—both real and fictional—or else the gate may be lost forever…

I absolutely love it. I’m surprised someone hadn’t done this concept for the story plot before. It’s fun, different and if you want to know why Randall is my favorite character read the book already
It was OK. The premise was good. I didn’t really identify with the main character, April. She seemed fairly immature and maybe the story is more fit for YA readers. It is an imaginative story about a special collections librarian who can “page walk” into certain books. It’s fairly well edited.

Title:
TANSTAAFL!
Imagine if the books you read as a kid could actually be a doorway into another dimension and place.
Now imagine the what that would be like to get a job where you could do that every night. Visit. Learn. Explore. Live life, but mostly live!
Imagination is all that s left after the last Pagewalker throws it all out, rather than fight for the good that can come from being able to escape the world for a while. Maybe the previous Pagewalker should ve tapped him for the job. He does have the capability to handle it -veteran, knows battle, has and can use his brain- definitely can think on his feet. Most importantly is willing to help the current Pagewalker when she realizes how much she screwed up.
All I m going to say is they pull it off somewhere in time. You ll have to get this book to see how, and see information about the next one in this series. Trust me, if you like page turning books, you ll get this book!
There s something wrong if Terrans can only want safety and are willing to sacrifice everything for that. Life loses all meaning when random chance is deprived of developing.
I really enjoyed this book a lot. It was unique with a lot of action and a lot of surprises. You never knew what was going to happen next. A real page turner!
April was a really good main character who was SO over her head with this new job. She more or less got thrown in at the deep end and HAD to swim. I thought it was such a great twist that April really wasn’t all that much of a reader. And even if she knew about some of the classics, it was because she saw the movie.
I don’t want to give too much away because it ruins it for the next reader. I had the joy of the story unfolding before my eyes.
This book did have a rather dramatic ending..well sort of. It had a happy for now ending for April with the door open for more adventures. Which I know that I would like to go on.
What an awesome bit of art on the eBook cover.
