Paco, the rugged VP of the Night Rebels MC, only stopped to get out of the rain and have some chow at the diner. He was headed back to Alina. He never intended on staying, but he saw her sitting alone at the booth next to his. She had on too much makeup and too little clothing for the cold wintry night. Then she looked at him: her eyes were dark like an endless stretch of midnight sky. In their … midnight sky. In their inky depths, he saw sorrow and pain and threads of fierceness. They drew him in.
He, the man who never looked past one night with a woman, wanted to know about this small woman sitting across from him. He knew he should just pay his bill, hop on his Harley, and head home, but he couldn’t.
Misty Sullivan hated the cold nights when she’d have to haul her butt from truck to truck to make enough to satisfy her boyfriend. She used to have another name, but that was a long time ago when she was normal and life was good. She tried not to remember what was—it just made her new life worse.
The stranger staring at her didn’t look like a trucker. He was decked out in leather and denim and looked at her like she was a person, not a piece of a$$. But… men couldn’t be trusted. They only wanted to use and abuse women. Yet, she sensed the sexy stranger was different.
A series of events kept throwing them together. Soon Misty’s past threatened to crash with her present. Could she trust the biker who was playing havoc with her heart to save her from destruction?
Paco had closed off his heart since his first love had shattered it many years before. Would Misty be the woman to break through his barriers? Could he let her slip away from him?
This is the fifth book in the Night Rebels MC Romance series. This is Paco’s story. It is a standalone. Recieved this book for an honest review. This book may or may not have triggers for some. Paco is coming home from visiting his sister when he stops at a truck stop to get out of the storm. He sees a girl there he helps. when he leaves he can’t get her out of his head. Misty is a lot lizard, not by choice. She wants a better life she can go back to way things were when she was kidnapped. This really pull your heart strings. A great read Chiah.
Paco and Chelsea are both damaged from different childhood traumas His was when he found his mother Murder and Chelsea was kidnapped at 15. Its a must read
This is just one book in the series of books about different members of the Night Rebels Motorcycle Club. This book deals with the VP, Paco. All of the books are well written, well edited and are not for the faint of heart. I love the entire series!
I really enjoyed Paco and Chelsea’s love story and it was beautifully written. There is an instant connection between them when they meet each other at a truck stop during the rain storm. Paco sees that Chelsea needs some help and he is more than willing to take care of her after he leaves the next morning either of them can forget about the other. The kindness that Paco showed Chelsea that night made a lasting impression and made her realize that she deserves a better life than what she is living and with Paco’s help and Chelsea’s strength Chelsea did overcome her past. Can’t wait for the next story written by Chiah.
Hits the hard subject of Human Trafficking but also has a love story with grit!

I first have to say that I love Chiah Wilder and the Night Riders MC. This book definitely has some triggers as it deals with the very serious topic of human sex trafficking and abuse.
I do love how Paco treated Chelsea/Misty when he first met her. He was so sweet and treated her with compassion. He fiercely believes in family, brotherhood and is loyal. Chelsea is such a strong woman faced with such heartbreaking circumstances but she does what she needs to do to protect her family. You can’t help but route for the two of them to find love especially Chelsea given her background.
It definitely makes a person think about current events.
Omg I so couldn’t wait to get my hands on Paco’s story and now I have woo oh woo. Chiah Wilder I love all her books and know I’m in for a real treat, Paco and Misty (Chelsea) what a story.
Chelsea isn’t in a good place so when Paco shows her kindness it shocks her. Even for all Misty is going through she is still a strong woman.
Paco is the VP of the Night Rebel MC and like the of the guys in the club isn’t looking for love, but the night he spots Misty he feels an instant connection she stirs something in him. Can two people so broken find their way to a HEA. This story broke my heart but to see how strong Misty is really made her an amazing woman, once I started this book I couldn’t put it down it was so full of action, romance, sexy men and challenges, I absolutely love an book Chiah Wilder writes. Highly recommend this book you won’t be disappointed.
Another hit for Chiah Wilder
When Chelsea was fifteen she was kidnapped and sold to a pimp. She was raped, beaten and forced into prostitution. On a cold, rainy night, she goes into a diner to get warm and meets Paco. He shares his hotel room with her and leaves the next day.
Paco is the Night Rebels VP. He had been visiting his sister when he stopped at the diner. The club has business to take care of and Paco sees a figure walking down a dark road. Chelsea found out her pimp had sold her to a vicious man, Victor, took the money and ran. He takes her to the clubhouse and hides her until she’s ready to go back to her family.
Chelsea slowly gets around the wall of his heart. He wants her to stay but knows she needs to go back to her family and try to find normalcy. After a couple of months he can’t live without her so he goes back. She’s gotten her GED and helping at a shelter for women and kids of human traffickers. Someone tells Victor she’s back home and he comes to get her. Can Paco get to her in time before he loses her forever?
I didn’t want to give too much away.Sexual explicit scenes, kidnapping, bikers, human trafficking and a shock you won’t believe. I love Ms. Wilder’s books and books this one was awesome.
