He’s a duke in need of a wife. She was thrown back in time until the next full moon. Will his secret push her away?Cora Rey wanted a fresh start in life, but being thrown back in time to 1850 isn’t how she expected to do that. She’s determined to have the vacation of a lifetime, especially in the company of a certain duke.
Simon Tuttle never expected to become the duke of Hertfordshire, never wanted it, but now he is, and eligible women seeking a title consider him the next trophy to be taken in the marriage mart. A union of convenience is the most he hopes for due to the shame-filled secret he bears—until he meets Cora. Now, he imagines that a love match could be possible after all. Can Cora love a man like him despite learning the truth?
This sweet and clean romance is a little Regency, a little contemporary, and a lot Victorian.

A feel good read!
Loved it almost made me cry and the film did this perfect justice
I loved this first story in this fun series. This is one you will want to read. Time travel is a big theme in this story and also romance.
How does on American woman from the 21st century try to decide how to stay on in Victorian England to marry a Duke but is torn between her time and his. This has wicked mothers, sisters and gold digger wanting the Duke to herself. I
Boy mayham truly takes over and causes far too many problems for the sell suited couple from two different centuries.
I’ve never been a favorite of time travel romance, but I am very glad I tried this story by Jo Noelle. P.S. I Love You is a delightful book with amazing characters. I found myself believing time travel was actually happening. Cora is a lovely lady from the future and Simon is a Duke. Their story is so heartwarming and gives a lovely look at the way courtships happened in the distant past. It also shows that greedy and selfish people have existed through all of time.
P. S. I Love You, is another delightful
book in the Twickenham series.
Cora, was on vacation. Opening herself
up to new experiences. Cora, along with friends, took a side trip to England.
Cora & friends, ended up going through their host Nellie’s special picture,
& landed in the Victorian England Era. Once Cora adjusted, it wasn’t all like
Jane Austen described.
Simon, is a Duke. Now he needs to marry.
What he never expected was to meet
Cora. But, Cora doesn’t have to right background for Simon’s mother,
the dowenger Duchness.
Will Cora & Simon, reveal their secrets,
& give in to their feelings, or will Cora leave Simon on the next full moon.
A MUST READ!!
Wow what a great story! Cora is a wonderful strong lady who struggles with decisions and keeps you on your toes. I love that she has lots of friends who provide support to her and her Duke-ling. Simon is a fun Duke who I grew to love.
Well written and I’m excited to ready the next one!
Cora only thinks she’s vacationing in an immersive Victorian experience, only to discover that she really is in 1850! And, as if that’s not confusing enough, she meets a man that makes her heart beat faster. A man who is quickly becoming more than a friend. Yet, how can she reconcile both worlds? Can she give up her world in the future to remain in the past with him?
Simon wasn’t supposed to inherit the title. He was ignored growing up and, yet, now all the responsibility falls on him, including finding a wife to carry on the title. He is all but convinced that a marriage of convenience is in his future until he meets a woman who is unlike anyone he’s ever met before. She actually sees him beyond the title and inadequacies and accepts him for who he truly is. Can he convince her to choose him as a husband? Or, will she choose to return to her homeland?
As the story unfolds, Cora observes how people are much the same regardless of century – of how they connive and manipulate to achieve what they want. There are those who are true friends and those who you cannot trust.
The story has lighthearted humor and mild danger. But, through it all is a sweet, well developed romance that is fully convincing. I loved how Cora was able to encourage and uplift Simon – making him a better man. And, I loved how Simon was able to give purpose to Cora’s past education and provide ways for her to use it in his century.
So, why only 4 stars instead of 5? I deducted a star because I was constantly aware of the length and checking where I was in the book. It just felt long to me. The flow / pace seemed to bog down in the middle. Did I like the story? Yes. But, I started to grow weary of it in the middle. Thus the deduction.
Romance – PG, lots of kisses
Language – PG, nothing offensive
Violence – mild in one scene
My rating – 4 stars
All in all a great book. However I wish they added more to the ending
I wanted to like this book, but… Eh. Note that it’s clean, so don’t keep waiting for the sex scene, it’s not coming. This is one of those books where the author gave the heroine way too many expert abilities and qualities to the point where it was just dumb. She’s an expert musician who can play several instruments, but also she’s amazing at riding horses, and also she knows way more history than the average 21st century woman, but that wasn’t her field, because actually she’s a special education teacher, AND she’s a krav maga expert? That last one really bugged me because I am a krav maga instructor, and it felt like the author just googled “what moves are in krav maga” and watched one video of a bear hug defense and was like “yep, I’ll put this in because it’ll make the heroine seem cool.” It wasn’t at all necessary for the story, the book could have proceeded 100% the same without putting it in there.
But my point is that this girl had no flaws or weaknesses, and it made her boring and hard to believe. The hero was more interesting by far. And the general method of time travel was interesting, I assume that’ll get explored more in future books in the series, but I’m not likely to keep going with this series.
