Dear Ms. Keane,Before this ridiculous little arrangement commences, I’d like to make myself indubitably clear: I know who you are, I know that my father hired you, I know why my father hired you, and last but not least: your services aren’t needed. In fact, I want no part of my father’s billion-dollar empire, and him “gifting” me with one of the “best concierges in the county” won’t change that. … won’t change that. He’s wasting his money. You’re wasting your time.
However, seeing as how you foolishly signed an ironclad contract with an Act of God clause and my father has strong-armed me into taking this position, it appears as though we’re stuck together—at least until your contract is up next month.
That said, our time together at WellesTech should be relatively painless but please don’t fool yourself into thinking I don’t notice when that pretty little stare lingers a little too long or the way your breath catches when our hands graze. You’re fascinated by me and it kills you because you can hardly stand to be in the same room as me.
Think I’m a problem worth solving? An impossible riddle worth figuring out? By all means, go ahead and try. Solve for X. Crack the code. It might even be fun (but only for me, not you).
V/r,
Calder Welles, II
P.S. I dare you.

After finishing this I’ve got to say I’ve never been more thankful for my parents.
Aerin and Calder were delt a crappy hand in the parents department which has left them to be as closed of as humanly possible. I liked how the story unfolded and how they came to see that sometimes all you need to be happy is a little faith and a lot of courage. They were match made in heaven with him needing someone to bring steadiness in his life and her needing a bit of adventure in order to ease up her “up-tydiness”.
Cute little story that is perfect to unwind after a looooong day

This is book three in the P.S. series and what starts out as an opposites attract story turns into two people who have more in common than they ever imagined. Loved the crazy banter between Calder and Aerin and how they quickly figure out they have the hots for each other. This is quick, well written book with well written, believable characters and a definite must read.
Both characters have to deal with childhood issues because of their parents. Calder Welles II is twenty-eight years old and blames his dad for his mothers death. He also doesn’t want anything to do with his dad or the company his dad built. Aerin Keane was raised by hippie parents but thanks to her older brother she has her own business. Calder and Aerin have steamy sizzling chemistry but they are complete opposites. They deny the attraction towards each other. They also deal with his manipulative controlling father, an unexpected death and so much more.

(Sigh) I absolutely loved reading this book. It held all the components of a good story. The storyline is about uptight compulsively organized woman meets man who bucks against his father’s billionaire lifestyle. Aerin Juniper Keane she runs her own business. She provides profession conceirge service. If it needs to be done, she will do it. She is “Anal-retentive. High-strung. Overanalytical.” Calder Wells II is named after his billionaire father. Calder has been estranged from his father for years. After the death of his mother at the age of twelve, he started acting out. His father was concerned that he could not give Calder the attention he needed because of his work schedule. He decided to send him to military school hoping it would straighten him out. Unfortunately, it had the exact opposite effect. As soon as he turned eighteen he turned his back on his father’s money and lifestyle wanting to make it on his own. He had a average apartment that was not organized nor was the bed made, there were dishes in the sink, laundry to be done and folded. He wanted no reminders of strictness from his days at the military school. Now his father wanted Calder to take over his billion-dollar company WellesTech. Calder would have none of it. Then his father told him he was dying and if he did not take over then he would sell the company to the Samuelson-Barnes Group. This got Calder’s attention. Calder blames the death of his mother on Samuelson’s experimental cardiac implant. Calder accepted the job. In the meantime, Calder Sr. hired Aerin to help Calder Jr. in the transition of the takeover. Aerin and Calder did not get along. However, they hookup in a bar restroom. They both fought their attraction to each other. Aerin was scared and she kept pushing Calder away. One day, Calder broke down and told Aerin things he never told anyone else. Aerin to him about her dysfunctional family and how she grew up. They had a moment. When Calder felt too close to Aerin, he would snap at her and distance himself from her. They went back and forth a lot. Then his father had a heart attack and Aerin gave Calder some wise advice. She said, “You won’t regret going (to the hospital), but you might regret not going. Choose your regrets, Calder. Choose them wisely.” He never got the chance to speak to his father. Calder Sr. had gone too long without oxygen to the brain. The doctors deemed him brain dead. It was at the hospital that Lisette, his father’s fourth wife, told Calder that he was not dying and never had any physical complications. Calder was livid that his father could be so manipulative. Lisette had them pull the plug. Calder never knew loneliness until Aerin was no longer in his life. She ended it with Calder and went back to L.A. Calder gave her a couple of days and then went after her. Calder spoke to her brother Rush who lived in NYC and found out where Aerin lived in L.A. Aerin was at her parents and told them what had conspired between the time Calder Sr. hired her and the strange complex relationship with Calder Jr. When her parents gave their advice they told her, “Life is short, baby girl,” Dad says. “If you like this guy, give him a chance. Worst-case scenario, he breaks your heart. Best case? You’ve got a pretty cool story to tell your grandkids someday.” Her mother told her “Anyway, you’re a control freak. Grade A. Certified. And relationships are the one thing you cannot control, and it terrifies you. “Sometimes you just have to take chances, let the chips fall where they may, or whatever that saying is. Everything always works out in the end.” Aerin went home thinking that maybe her parents were not as messed up as she thought. What will happen to Aerin? Will she go back to NYC and see Calder or will she let him go. What about Calder? Will he ever figure out what he really wants? Will he go after Aerin? What kind of life would two broken people have to give each other? This is a wonderful story full of emotion, drama and romance. I highly recommend it. P.S. I Dare You is book 3 in the PS Series by Winter Renshaw
What an emotional roller coaster.. wow!
Calder and Aerin~ completely opposites but there have an attraction to one another
Extremely entertaining!
I do recommend the series!
This was a good read! The writing flowed well, and I thought that Calder and Aerin had great chemistry. I wasn’t a fan of Calder at first, it took me a little while to like him. Once he got over himself and started acting better, they made a good couple. Aerin needed to learn to let loose a little, and I think Calder balanced her out. There wasn’t a lot of drama with this one, but I did enjoy the story. This series has been great, and I definitely recommend it!

Calder and Aerin- while these two may be opposites- the attraction between them is there, as well a the hatred.
Aerin is underhandly hired by Calder Sr to be the concierge to Calder Jr to help in the persuasion of taking over the family business.
Calder Jr has a life that does not include his father and certainly does not include the uptight women hired to do his bidding regardless of what evil tactics his father uses. That doesn’t stop Calder Jr. from noticing her intelligence and other attributes.
Aerin is stuck, the best at her job; this contract will set her up well, all she has to do is deal with the entitled jackhole and his father for the next for four weeks, and she will be home free.
Too bad C.J is handsome, with some heart under all those layers of Jackhole it would make it easier to hate him….
Dwah! Fanfreakingtastic!
I have been all about the P.S series! Finding much of myself in Aerin ( hey, nothing wrong with an orderly room *ahem*) the sexual chemistry mixed with broken soul magnetism made them a perfect pair!
Not quite as angsty as the past stand alone P.S books, it weaved a web of witty, S.E.X.Y. heart of hearts with a side of sass romance that I could not help but be tangled up in its clutches!
Relatable, sweet, flawed characters I would want to know and a storyline. Ones that had me rooting for redemption, closure, love, and happiness! What more could you ask for in your next read?
Well worth the read!
This book had me smiling, a story that kept my interest until the last page. Calder and Aerin think they have their lives on track but realize as they work together that they have been fooling themselves. This is the first book by this author that I have read but it will not be the last one. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the 3rd book in the P.S. series. Each of the characters has their own past that they are overcompensating in the everyday lives to move past. Aerin was raised by hippie parents that were never too concerned about cleanliness, education, or feeding their children. In return she is super OCD, and a clean freak. On the other hand Calder wanted nothing more than to have his father’s attention after his mother’s death and instead he got sent to boarding school that was more like military boot camp. Now it’s been years since Calder has spoken with his father and refuses to have anything to do with him or his company. Calder Sr. is dying and has has hired Aerin to bring Calder on board to the company and make sure he’s adjusted before he steps down from the illness. Before they have even been properly introduced Aerin & Calder have already bucked heads, and have started a count down to the 30 days they must work together.
I really loved the chemistry between the characters, their opposites attract vibe, until you look deeper and realize they are actually suffering the same hurts but are dealing with them in different ways. I love Aerin’s sassy mouth and Calder’s come backs. I really wanted to like Calder Sr. and every time he talked about just wanting to reconnect with his son, I had this moment of “I hope they get a chance to repair their relationship before he dies” until Sr. opened his mouth again and I wanted to slap him for being an idiot parent. By the end of the book, I was 100% Calder not wanting to repair his relationship with his dad.
As many of her books have lovely twists expect one to come from this book as well. *No Spoilers* you’ll have to read and see, but I was shocked, didn’t see it coming but all I can say is Karma got him anyways.
This is a wonderful series, my favourite so far. I’m a fan of the love/hate scenario with the slow burn which this has in spades. The connection & chemistry between Aerin & Calder was off the charts. Both had very troubled childhoods & they are brought together by his father due to his ill health. She being his PA to help him adjust to a transition into the family business.
Aerin was strong, sassy,OCD & very quirky. Calder the total opposite being more relaxed & quite normal despite his family’s wealth. It’s not very often I connect with the characters but in this case it’s hard not to!
Aerin has 30 days to endure Calder. Will it become more? I loved the epilogue. A HEA for these troubled souls??

How does Winter Renshaw keep dazzling me with these stories!!! Just when I think I have read all the good ones, along comes a book like P. S. I Dare You, and I am glued to the pages once more. No housework. No busy life chores. Just me, Ms Keane, and Calder Welles II. And what a ride it was. Exhilarating. Eye opening. Arousing. Energetic. Heart stopping. Tantalising. Brilliant.
A mixture of sarcastic and sweet, these two primary characters give a reader a varied selection of creativity, sass, spirit and depth. Their story unravels spectacularly, and will thrill and mystify. A must read. It will cause you to break into a sweat, have your heart pounding, you will smile like a lunatic, and let them know how frustrating they are. Difficult to put down. Impossible to forget. 5 stars.
Get ready to read this in one sitting – you won’t be able to put it down. Two characters who think they are happy but realize not everything is the way they think it is. I wasn’t sure about Calder going in, but Aerin was more than enough to handle him. Both had deep seated issues but together they worked their way through them. Who knew hate could turn to love? Great read, fast paced and easy to read, you’ll love the characters and their actions/reactions to each other. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).
I really liked Calder and Aerin’s story. It’s the classic case of when opposites attract. They were both stuck in their ways and oh so stubborn. But they were able to see that with all the things that made them not work, there were significant things that they had in common in one way or the other. There was passion and a lot of swoon worthy moments. A quick read and an awesome job by Winter once more.
If you read other books in the “P.S.” series by this author, you’ll know that this one is a must read. I thought so, too. Winter Renshaw’s writing is always exciting and new. Look at the blurb for each book in this series to see how unique her voice is; you’ll hear it in every story. Great book. Great author.

This is a well written story which I enjoyed.
I give this story 3.7 stars
“Relationships are messy. People are complicated.”
This is the third book in the series but the story line is completely different to the other two. At the beginning there is a feeling that it is kind of enemies to lovers theme but then it looks like it is more. This is hot, steamy, sexy and emotional read. It shows how broken we can be, how closed to others and how we can pretend to the outside world that everything in our life is fine and perfect.
First impressions of hero can be very misleading. He really surprised me showing how broken and vulnerable he really was. And Aerin was fighting with the way how her upbringing had affected her adult life and the way she was. I really felt the instant connection with both of them.
It was another page turner from the series and I loved this book so much!
This is my favorite of this series! I loved Calder and Aerin. They both have these pasts that have made them the people they are today. Pasts that make them unique. Once they get past their rocky start and begin to communicate, they get past it. Calder was amazing that he knew her well enough to chase her and not give up. And Aerin could finally stop long enough to realize she was able to have a relationship. This author amazes me every time I read one of her books. They just keep getting better and better! One click author for sure!

Terrific enemies-to-lovers, opposites-attract love story.
Aerin and Calder couldn’t be more different. Their family life and childhoods were completely different, but dysfunctional in their own way. Aerin now channels her need for order and control into a lucrative, specialized career as a temporary personal assistant to the rich and famous.
Calder’s father wants him back in the business, so he manipulates Calder’s one weak spot – his mother’s memory – and then hires Aerin to keep an eye on his son.
Their insta-lust chemistry adds a confusing layer to their working relationship, mostly because neither one knows what to do with the very real feelings that develop, almost against their will. There’s quite a bit of humor in this story, but the emphasis is on the poignant heartbreak both Aerin and Calder have had to endure in their young lives, and how to process all of that in order to move forward into their future.
It’s a well-written romance with memorable, surprisingly vulnerable and down-to-earth characters. This author really knows how to take her characters on an emotional journey to face their fears. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Aerin is given a challenge with a payout she can not refuse. Be the personal assistant to the forever aloof Calder Welles II. Calder has no interest in being tied down or running his fathers company, but when he is forced into a corner he concedes he has no other choice. Aerin knows taking this job was a mistake, but sometimes money talks and a lot of money can change lives. These two fumble their first meeting and get off to any icy start, however things soon heat up and even though they are determined to hate each other their feelings soon morph into more. The push and pull between these two is amazing and you can’t help but root for them. There is some twists and turns and a few blunders, but they eventually make it to their finish line and what a sweet victory it is! I adored this book as much as the other two in the series and can’t wait to see if there are more on the horizon.
