Bookshop owner, Georgie Jensen, is done with shallow jerks. Her Own the Eights blog dishes out advice on how to steer clear of egotistical creeps only concerned with looks and status. Her focus is finding one’s true soulmate—not the superficial ten but the solid, reliable eight.Jordan Marks is the city’s top fitness trainer who won’t settle for anything less than the best. His blog promotes … than the best. His blog promotes working hard, playing harder, and striving to always be—you guessed it—a ten.
When these two opposites are forced to team-up for an online competition, opinions clash and mouse pads fly.
The twist: there can only be one winner, and if Georgie wants to keep her shop open, that winner needs to be her.
But the more time this eight and this ten spend together, the more they learn that, when it comes to love, a number might not be what matters the most.
Own the Eights is a steamy rom-com full of heart, heat, and oodles of laugh out loud moments!

Own the Eights is the hardest I’ve laughed in a long time! I recommend having an empty bladder and not consuming any food while reading this book…the consequences won’t be pretty. This story had me rolling in laughter with almost every page. I personally would be a loyal follower of the “Own the Eights” blog if it actually existed. Such a creative and wonderful enemies-to-lovers story, I couldn’t put it down!
Own The Eights was an enemies to lovers story that was one of those books that ticked every box and then some. Jordan and Georgie’s story was a little quirky, it made me laugh out loud, was packed with passion and emotion and left me on a high of happiness. Jordan and Georgie will steal your heart and have you hoping that these two realize that it was never about a number but all about the heart. A story that will mesmerize and enchant you right from the get go. As you tackle the challenges right along with these two the chemistry and sparks that ignite from their connection will be felt deep under your skin. My only negative is that I didn’t want their story to end.
I’ve been looking forward to picking up Ms.Sandor’s work and I’m so glad that I got to with Own the Eights! Once I started reading I got into it more and more with every chapter. I had to finish it in one sitting and I really enjoyed this story!
Georgie and Jordan’s journey was quite the entertaining one! I really liked these two characters and what their competition brought to the story. I enjoyed their banter, determination, and getting to dig deeper with both of them.
Ms.Sandor created such a great read with Own the Eights! I can’t wait to pick up more of her books soon!
*I volunteered to read and review a copy of this book from the author*
This book had a bit of everything. It made me laugh. I did a little swooning. I loved the central message: to make your best self. Georgie embraced what she was given and went with it. Jordan wanted to not only improve himself (and did), but he wanted to help others improve themselves. They clashed in the beginning but they were more alike than they realized, and it was a fun journey watching them figure out what they both need out of life.
Own the eights is the first book in a new series for Krista Sandor & I was lucky enough to get an ARC.
Since I found Krista on Instagram I have been a huge fan!
Everyone is going to be able to relate to the storyline as everyone is blogging these days- Jordan – the perfect 10 & Georgie – own the eights.
There was so many laugh out loud moments & honest moments a perfect 8 out of 8 romcom
I couldn’t put this book down! If you need a book with a sweet story about opposites/enemies to lovers that will have you laughing out loud and have people around you staring at you like you’ve totally lost it – LOL then this is the book for you.
Georgie and Jordan kept me glued to the pages and I couldn’t wait to see what happened next.
Both run lifestyle/relationship blogs and are paired together to compete for a spot as a contributor to a local online newspaper.
These two on the outside look like complete opposites but as they take challenge after challenge they come to find out that they have a lot more in common than they ever thought.
This book melted me as we see the two turn from enemies to friends then lovers. Such a great book and can’t wait for more in the series!
I really enjoyed this one. I’m not gonna lie I was skeptical of Jordan in the beginning. He won me over rather quickly. I loved Georgie right off the bat. Her personality is one of my favorite things about this book. Plus she owns a bookstore, life goals. The banter between Jordan and Georgie was my favorite thing in the book. They played so well off each other. I may wanted to shake some sense into Jordan a couple times, but he did well on the grand gesture. If you’re like me and you could really use a light, fun read that will have you laughing along the way this one will fit the bill. It’s exactly the type of book I need in my life right now.
Georgie is the girl that everyone can relate to. She’s an 8 who just wants to find her happy ever after. Jordan always strives to be a 10 to prove he is better than his past. When their lives are intertwined they have to figure out how to navigate uncharted waters. This book has a great storyline that had me captured from the beginning! Can’t wait for the next in the series!
4.5 FUN Stars!
Georgie and Jordan make for an interesting read, be prepared to laugh and be awed as this one takes you on a journey to finding the perfect number
Georgie and Jordan are definitely opposites in every way so when they are teamed up in an online competition he is obviously a 10 and she is a 8 but as the competition goes on it shows that there is more to a person than what’s on the outside. This is a great enemies to lovers story.
I am voluntarily reviewing this ARC
Own the Eights is a light, comical, story that I enjoyed very much. I liked the characters, Georgie and Jordan couldn’t have been more opposite if they tried. They had a instant spark, and quirky banter that made me laugh. Can’t wait for the next book from this author.
I cannot tell you enough – be prepared to laugh. This book gave me a lot of true laugh out loud moments. I absolutely loved this book so much. Before I even finished it I was texting my friends telling them to pre-order it. I truly can’t wait to read books 2 and 3!
Georgie Jensen runs and writes for her own blog ‘Own the Eight’ and a book store. She has a past that she has put behind her and wants to leave behind her.
Jordan Marks runs his own blog and has helped open up fitness centers across the state. He also is a personal trainer to their clients. The owner of these gyms has helped transform him into who he is today.
They both enter into a blog contest and the client changed the rules on them. They are competing against not only each other for this spot but against another team of bloggers. Can these two find common ground to work together? Or will winning the prize be more important and what matters most?
As always, I thoroughly enjoyed Krista Sandor’s latest book, Own the Eights! Georgianna and Jordan’s chemistry is everything you want from the typical enemies to lovers romance and then some. Georgie is perfectly content being an 8 out of 10 and owning her desirability, while Jordan has done everything possible to erase his past and be a 10. The back and forth between these two is not only hilarious but heartfelt. It’s a great comic relief in these somewhat difficult times. If you need a happy ending escape, you’ve come to the right place.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Owning much more than an eight.
Own The Eights is a fast-paced, hilarious look on the other side of ‘the perfect look’ of love. Georgie has had enough of the men who think they’re all that and more, the so-called ‘perfect tens’. She’s had one too many brush-off’s by these type of guys and now she going to look beyond the surface and find her true soul-mate, only he’ll be an eight not a ten.
Starting her own blog to help others like herself, she’s determined that she’ll never fall for a ten again.
Until Jordan enters her life…
Jordan Marks lives his life by the ‘perfect ten’ principle. He wasn’t always the man you see today, and nothing and no one is going to make him change his mind about the way he lives his life. Until Georgia enters his life…
Jordan and Georgie are paired in a competition and what started as two people who saw each other as the enemy quickly became the opposite. Sparks flew between them and even though both tried to not only deny but fight the attraction it was without fail. Opposites certainly do attract in this sweet and steamy story. Grab your copy today.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from this one!! I absolutely adored Georgie and Jordan. The opposites attract thing was awesome!! I have never laughed so hard. I loved so many scenes in this book!! It was incredibly sexy, swoony and super fun!! I can’t wait for more from this little group of people!! Georgie and Jordan are bound to steal your heart!!!
Own The Eights was a sweet, sexy and funny read. I really liked it. I loved Georgie and her quirkiness. Jordan was funny and swoony. Georgie and Jordan were opposites but totally perfect for each other!! I loved them together.
This was such a fun read! Georgie is a bookstore owner and Jordan is all about fitness and owning his own gym someday. Georgie has a blog where she talks about owning the rights. She was called an eight after a disastrous date with a jerk who decided she wasn’t a ten and couldn’t be with her. Jordan’s blog was all about being a ten. Being the best. They meet when they are entered into a reality type show and had to team up to get the most likes and comments. Their challenges were funny and at the same time pushed their boundaries. I really enjoyed reading their story. This was such a fun book!
Thank you for the privilege of reading this book! Well done
This is a brand new standalone book by Krista Sandor who I love. She writes wonderful stories with great characters I get addicted to reading about. This story took a bit to build but once it did I was addicted to the story and characters.
This story starts off in a sad way, we meet George, our heroine at a bar where she is meeting this guy she met at a friends house party. Bryce, is a JERK, he says he is a ten and tells G she is an 8 and that she should own it. And so starts her blog and this story, where she turns being an 8 into a really big deal.
We also meet Jordan, when is a 10 but was not always a 10, and he has a blog too and runs a gym. He is up for an award with this newspaper and his competition is G. And the newspaper tells them they are a team. Yep a 10 and an 8 but what no one knows and G has to discover is that J is a 10 in disguise.
This was a wonderful story and I fell in love with both characters. It does take time for the story to build but once it does, it was a lot of fun.
I received a complimentary ARC – early release copy of this book in Kindle format from the author for review purposes.
I loved this book! I’m a huge fan of Krista Sandor’s books and this was no exception. It’s beautifully written, the storyline flowed perfectly from page to page, it’s hysterically funny and I fell in love with the characters. I loved the banter between Jordan and Georgie, they had amazing chemistry and were just so perfect together. An amazing read from start to finish and I highly recommend it.
I fell in love with Georgie from the start. There are moments that make you giggle as you eagerly flipped the pages. I enjoyed reading this opposites attract rom com. Once again I’m left patiently waiting for the next book. I received an ARC of this and volunteered to review it.
