***The epic OverRuled series concludes in a perilous final battle of magic and might. The power of sisterhood fights against an army of darkness in a novel that fans of Leigh Burdugo and Sarah J. Maas will love.

This is an epic read right from the start. You definitely don’t want to miss out on this read. It’s fast paced and action packed. The Author has really done an amazing job with bringing this story to fruition. This had me on the edge of my seat throughout the whole read. There is never a full moment. I absolutely love the book cover as well. I definitely recommend this read.

A satisfying ending to this trilogy! Jade grows into her role as Queen and becomes more confident with the help and support of her sister Nova. Nova doesn’t really feel comfortable in the palace, or as a Queen, but she unselfishly stays to support Jade and their Kingdom. They grow very close with time, and I really like the ending, when they (and we as readers) learn that “true” love doesn’t have to be romantic.
I was a bit dubious about the “suitor trail”, since it reminds me of TV shows like “The Bachelor” (never watches things like that). It does play a crucial part in the story, so I accept it, even if I wish it could have been done some other way. I also wish that we gotten to know more about Chael. We only get small pieces of his past, but those pieces are interesting enough to wish for more. Could I ask for at least a short story from Chael’s point of view, please?!

Great ending to the series. It remains full of action up until the very end and wraps everything up nicely.
A very satisfying conclusion to the OverRuled series.
Nova and Jade have grown into their power and need to defend Sterling from an impending invasion. The book begins with Sterling preparing for war and Jade trying to safeguard the Larkspur magic source. While this book is full of action, it takes quite a while to get to the climactic battle. I liked the growth of both main characters throughout the series. As always, the magic is unique and powerful and the best parts of the story.

This was such an amazing ending to the series, even if I am a little disappointed I don’t get to see what happens to Chael.
Jades character grew up so much in book three. Watching her become this confident woman and realize she didn’t need a mans “love” when she had her sister was something she and the reader needed. She stopped thinking about her self and vowed to be a better queen and sister.
Nova is still kick ass, her falling in loved seemed a little glossed over… but nothing really detrimental to the plot. She is so strong and so accepting of Jade. She could be selfish a leave Jade and the kingdom of Sterling to ruin, but she doesn’t. Throughout the whole series I don’t remember Nova being a petty/selfish character.
I grew to like Chael a bit. He was the type of male character that strong female character books could use if its needs a male protagonist, there but not at the forefront. He would do anything for Nova and never tried talking her out of doing anything that she felt she needed to do. He was there, willing to help, at all costs for her.
But I still really, really, really want a book done from his point of view. I want to know what his life was like before his family was murdered… what was going through his mind when he befriend Jade and had to kill her mother… what about his relationship with Nova. I need to know these things!
The battle scenes could have been longer, it seems the fight with their grandfather was over rather quickly… that being said, the battle in the castle with a potential love interest was pretty decent
