Top three reasons why sleeping with the enemy is a bad idea…1. She’s my fiercest rival.2. She’s also my fiery ex.3. We’re going up against each other in a stiff competition to win the hottest new client on the market. And yet, I’d like to be up against the wall in a stiff competition to get her to call out my name.Time to double down on my resistance to her tough-as-nails, take-no-prisoners, … tough-as-nails, take-no-prisoners, sexy-as-sin attitude. The same attitude I find irresistible.
That’s a big problem, because in this race to nab the client, I run into Haven in the hotel, on the beach, in the guest quarters late at night.
Hate s-e-x would be a terrible idea.
Except, it’s the complete opposite, and now we can’t keep our hands off each other.
Trouble is, I’m not so sure it’s hate I’m feeling anymore.
And that’s the biggest reason sleeping with the enemy you’re falling for is a bad idea — my job literally depends on never letting her into my heart.

Josh and Haven are your die hard enemies that secretly love each other. They are competitors and both want to be the winner in the career. When they are thrown back together the sparks fly and they decide to “talk” it out but the heart and body wants what it wants and once isn’t enough.
Loved how this story showed how women struggle in a mans world and how Haven had to work hard to get ahead. I also loved how Josh stood his ground for what was important to him no matter the cost.
Great lovers to enemies to lovers story. I received an early copy to read and review and give my honest opinion. Loved it and highly recommended it.
3.5 stars. Cute book! Haven and Josh are sports agents competing for the same clients. They have a history, one that neither of them can forget. There’s a lot of heat between these two and not too much angst. It becomes apparent pretty quickly that what drove them apart in the first place was a big misunderstanding. Once they figure that out, there’s nothing to keep them apart. A fun read but I like a little more angst in my books.
Josh Summers gets into the spirit of his latest challenge. Haven Delilah believes that her life has to come with rules. They were an interesting pair to get to know. One reason that Haven is so interesting is what she does when it comes to rules. Our author has them in the same type of job which puts them constantly in the same space at the same time and that’s just another reason to get to know them.
Our author writes with ease. She always makes her characters so believable. It’s not hard to picture what these two are doing and thinking. Ms. Blakely makes it very easy to forget everything else and just concentrate on the scenes she’s crafted. It’s not hard to want more or to forget everything around you so that you can find out what these two are up to – especially when they both seem to have such strong personalities. The author is very sweet to her readers. Instead of giving us one Epilogue, we get two. And I can’t wait to see what else this series has in store for me.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
Grabbed from the beginning with laughter and light heartedness, Blakely has penned another rom-com that was sweet and fun.
Josh and Haven sparked with great competitive nature which in turn turned up the heat in the race between two characters who love to hate one another.
If you enjoy flirty fun, second-chance romances, with a healthy dose of competitive heat, this book is for you!
As Always, Happy Reading!
“4/5 Beaming Brains!” – Lit-Up My Mind
Another delicious romantic comedy by Lauren Blakely, this time with enemies who become lovers …. I love it!
Josh and Haven are sports agents, represent great athletes, and have always been enemies … Hmmm… I mean, not so much… in the recent past, they got along very well in bed and out of it until a fact left Haven devastated and irritated.
Now they dispute athletes and trade barbs whenever they meet. The big problem is that the irresistible pull of the past is still stronger than ever and they can’t give in to temptation or let their guard down.
Josh is an honorable and insightful lawyer who does everything for his athletes and knows the power of Olympic medalist Haven as an agent as well. They will now need to decide what is most important to them: surrender to what they feel or dispel their fears in bed and move on without the other in their life. Will they remain opponents or will the passion that only grows within them speak louder?
The ending surprised me even though I was a little suspicious about what Josh was going to do. He is so so strong and good and cute and hot. OMG! Perfect!
Loved Josh and Haven’s cuteness overdose together at the end.
I loved the story, their friends, the messaging they exchange with their friends. I became a fan of Jason and Vaugh. I want more laughs and hot moments that only Lauren can create.
5/5 stars
4.5 stars!
I can always count on Lauren Blakey to deliver an entertaining, laugh-out-loud, romantic comedy, and Overnight Service did not disappoint. It is a nice combination of enemies-to-lovers and second chances as fierce rivals find fierce love all while having sweet, sexy fun.
Josh Summers is a successful sports agent who knows when to be serious and when to have fun. He is gorgeous, hardworking, and a has a great personality. He doesn’t worry about embarrassing himself because he is confident in who he is and I loved that about him.
Haven Delilah, also a sports agent, is ambitious and good at what she does. She knows she has to work hard in the business, especially because she is a girl. Though she once worked with Josh, she’s with a different agency now and one of Josh’s toughest competitors.
Josh is always up for a bet so when Haven, “former colleague…former protégé…former lover…fiercest rival,” bets that she can land the next hot sports star, he can’t turn down the opportunity to try to beat her. Now, they find themselves stuck together at the same conference, hosting the same panel, and pursuing the same athlete, and things are about to get wild.
This story is so much fun and I adored Josh and Haven. From the bets to the competition, they keep each other on their toes while enjoying witty banter and falling a little deeper for the enemy. The sexual tension builds nicely and the chemistry is realistic. I felt the pull they have over each other no matter how much they try to deny it. They just can’t stop the attraction. It is only a matter of time before these two combust and when they do it is epic.
“I drop my mouth to hers, and we’re not goofing off in the water anymore.
We’re not doing anything but the inevitable.
That’s how it feels with her. Like this is our true north.
Touching, kissing, tasting—this is our inevitable end point. Anything else is trying to tug a magnet away from its opposite. My body craves her contact. Total contact.”
I loved Josh and Haven as a couple. The have good hearts and even though they are competitive, it’s mostly in good fun, and I couldn’t stop from smiling when these two were together. When they actually spend time together and let their walls down, they learn so much more about each other. They want the same things, they both work hard, and they give it their all.
I loved the way the story unfolded and I was happy with all the decisions. We get not one but two sweet epilogues that put a smile on my face! And as always, Blakely brings in characters from previous books to add to the fun, and I love seeing them again.

I loved this second chance, enemies to lovers romance! It was such an enjoyable read! Josh and Haven were definitely made for each other. Their chemistry is off the charts even after a year apart! I love how badass Haven is in a male dominated field. Watching Josh and Haven come together again was the sweetest. You can always count on a Lauren Blakely book giving you all the good feels.
This is the story of Haven Delilah and Josh Summers, ex-lovers and bitter rivals. Moving in the same circles, they keep on bumping into each other until they find themselves staying in one house, competing against each other for the chance to represent one of the industry’s rising stars. They are still obviously very much attracted to each other, but what will happen to their careers if they give in to their feelings?
Overnight Service is one witty, steamy story. I really enjoyed this one not just because it was written by one of my favorite authors, but because it has two of my favorite tropes: second-chance and enemies to lovers! The chemistry between Haven and Josh is off the charts, and like always, I enjoyed the witty banter. Reading how much Haven and Josh wanted each other and wanted to not want each other had me rooting for them even more!
Overnight Service is a second chance, enemies to lovers contemporary romance written in dual first person POV. It ends with a HEA. No cliffhanger, no cheating.
I received this book at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.
Another incredible, hot, steamy and fun read by Lauren Blakely.
It’s a second chance romance that focuses on two business rival Josh and Haven. These two had a quick fling, but when things fell apart, they rival between the two only became even more insane. They are sports agents, so it is kind of impossible to avoid one another when they are literally working alongside or with or against each other and are constantly competing against each other and stealing clients… The sexual tension between the two never really fell away, it only heightens and they can’t seem to keep themselves apart, they can’t seem to keep their hands to themselves. The chemistry and burning desire is just too strong.
Haven is a sassy, fun, smart and driven heroine, she loves the work she does and works hard. She knows how to stand up for herself.
Josh is an asshole but he was charming and fun and also driven and loves a good competition, which you will be able to tell once you read this book.
I loved both these main characters, they were characters I had some knowledge of from Instant Gratification. In that book, you can see the heat between the two of them from the start and it never differs in this book. It only heightens. The chemistry is off the charts. Their witty banter and sexual tension are thick and you can feel the build-up. The push and pull between these two only make it that much more intense.
I love how Lauren weaves all these characters into all her story, so you get an idea of who these characters are.
Once again, Lauren delivers a HOT as hell, intense, fun, and sexy rom-com that will have you laughing and swooning all at once.
5 Stars!
I truly enjoyed this enemies-to-lovers book by Lauren Blakely. Although it was dual POV, you mainly got the story from Josh’s point of view. It was nice to see how hard he had fallen for Haven and how hard he would work to win her back after their less than amicable split-up over a year prior to the story.
The two are sports agents who used to work for the same firm but are now bitter, intense rivals who often but over the same athletes. Once they go head-to-head for the same rising star, sparks (oh, who am I kidding?), FLAMES fly as they reconnect.
I also loved the relationship Josh has with his closest friends and his three sisters. I can’t wait to read Vaughn and Quinn’s story!
I highly recommend this installment in the Always Satisfied series.
“I received a review copy and voluntarily provided an honest review. This does not affect the opinion of the book or the content of the review.’’
Enemies to lovers is starting to become my new favorite trope and Lauren Blakely did not disappoint with this story. Josh and Haven are sworn enemies, rivals and can’t stand each other or can they? The tension between these two oozed off the pages and I enjoyed every tense and aching moment. The sexy times were scorching hot as well. I loved seeing characters from the other books as well. It always nice to catch up. If you are looking for a well written, scorching hot enemies to lovers book, I suggest checking this story out.
Josh and Haven were such a great couple. This story had me at the edge of my seat the whole time I was reading it. Have and Josh may have been enemies as far as work goes, but the attraction they have for one another has never gone away. They have a chance to have it all one again and the story will have you rooting for them. They do have some things to clear up as far as what has happened in to the past. Once they are able to do that the heat is definitely on. The manner in which they had to compete for the next rising star to represent was so funny at times. To have to try and out shine not only each other but a third person, who happens to be a former coworker of theirs made for some great parts. Lauren Blakely at her her best! A very well written book. I enjoyed the cameos of characters from her other books as well. The way Ms Blakely is able to weave together all the characters so seamlessly is great. I absolutely loved the HEA and can not wait for the next book in the series.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Enemies to Lovers HOT HOT HOTNESS!!
I got an ARC and was trying to get it read but work kept interfering so when the audio released, I grabbed it. I love Lauren’s audio books and this one did not disappoint!! With its full cast, I loved having individual voices for all the different characters! And Jason and Emma were perfect in their roles as Josh & Haven.
Note: Listening to Lauren’s stories on audio without headphones is very entertaining to watch others reactions to your listening pleasure. *giggle*
Josh is a successful sports agent looking for the next big thing. Haven was his protege (and secret lover) but things went horribly wrong and they now have an antagonistic relationship when they encounter each other. Until his friend & co-worker, Ford, asks him to go to a conference in Vegas for him, and he is forced to come face to face with the woman who hates him and fires his blood every time.
What happens in Vegas… Changes everything. This story is full of wit, steam, friendship, and love. It was a very enjoyable enemies to lovers story. Haven and Josh are fun and hot!
This version also has an added bonus of The Engagement Gift. Lily and Finn’s little story is hot hot hot.
Overnight Service!
This was a fun, quick read! Haven and Josh are competitors. They hate each other! Or do they? I loved the banter between these two enemies! And I loved how Haven and Josh find their own HEA.
Another sexy, fun book by Lauren Blakely. I can’t wait for the next book in this series!
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
This was a super cute rival-lover romance. I was a little worried in the beginning that Josh lost his nerve and would be stand offish towards Haven since he was intimidated by her sexually. But when you got the two of them together all bets were off. They tried to keep up the hate/hate relationship but when deep down your heart wants what your heart wants. Loved the book can’t wait for more.
Hate or Love………….two strong emotions that get all mixed up
For me Lauren Blakely is a “must get without question” author and she has proven that point once again with Overnight Service. This is the fourth book in the Always Satisfied series and I have read them all. Each is as good or better than the last and all will definitely “satisfy” you.
Overnight Service is the story of Josh and Haven, both successful sports agents who at one time worked together at the same firm but now compete against each other at different firms. When they worked together Josh actually mentored Haven and that grew into as very steamy two week affair. But that was a year ago and now they are rivals, even if they are still strongly attracted to each other and their sexual tension and frustration pops off the pages as you are reading. Now they must compete to sign a young tennis star and are thrown against each other in the most delicious ways. Will they be able to resist the catnip of temptation for each other or will they give in a roll around.
Lauren Blakely has written a delectable story with witty banter, feisty and funny characters, a strong story-line and a lot of underlying love. Both Josh and Haven definitely know how to get a rise out of each other which results in some very funny scenes.
I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
5 star review of Overnight Service (Always Satisfied #4) by Lauren Blakely
Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive, even more so when the one we are trying to deceive are ourselves.
Haven Delilah and Josh Summers have history, both professionally and personally. This is a second chance, enemies to lovers story that had me riveted from the first to the last chapter.
Overnight Service is a fun book that ticked the boxes for me. I fell hard and fast for Josh and honestly he just melted my heart; Haven is one of those women that you could easily see as a friend, strong, determined and focused.
The dynamic between Josh and Haven was entertaining and they had me laughing throughout with their banter.
Of course the chemistry between them was smoking hot and I loved that previous characters made an appearance. I love the friendships between all the characters.

Lauren Blakely has once again delivered a book boyfriend that is the complete and total package. And that package is Josh Summers. HeO
Lauren Blakely has once again written another SINsational book boyfriend. Her latest heartthrob is Josh Summers. Josh is the extremely talented maestro that plays Haven Delilah’s body like a prized Stradivarius violin in a symphony worthy of multiple Oncores (). And the Os he delivers are certainly worthy of a standing Ovation. Bravo
Josh and Haven have a bittersweet relationship. Coworkers, lovers, rivals, and enemies, whoa! He is the sports rep with a solid past for his clients and she is the new kid on the block and she’s packing a punch. When their personal relationship burns up along with their work relationship, both walk away. But a new client has them battling not only for representation but for love. Apparently, they aren’t done just yet. What he never told Haven was why their work interfered with their personal lives and Haven refused to forgive him for his mistakes.
Josh is the ultimate in the man department with his romantic feelings, his willingness to go the distance for his partner, and the simple gestures he offers out of love. And Haven is the girl we all want to be. She is confident, strong, and a worthy opponent in any circumstance. I loved how she owned herself, her pride, and her beliefs.
This was a slow burn with blistering heat that leaves you wanting and satisfied simultaneously.
Do you believe that there is a fine line between love and hate? If so then Lauren Blakely’s latest is right up your alley. It’s a classic Lauren Blakley rom com with great humor and fantastic characters.
Josh Summers is the best sports agent in the business, Haven Delilah is trying g to make a name for herself in a man dominated world. The problem is that Haven and Josh had a brief fling in which Havengot burned or at least that is what she believes. Now a year later the animosity and tension is there and so are Josh’s feelings which haven’t changed. As they compete for the same clients can Josh finally let his feelings be known before Haven hates him forever.
I love Ms Blakley’s rom com stories and Overnight Service is no exception. Filed with great humor and wonderful dialog you are always in for a great treat reading reading her books. Told primarily from Josh’s POV we get is perspective and every once in a while Haven’s list is thrown in for good measure. We also get to see a few old friends which I always love.
Lauren Blakely books are like my favorite dessert- absolutely sinful, hard to resist, and so satisfying! She my author-I-put-down-all-other-books-in-progress-for. I adore the worlds she creates- it’s so fun how the characters all tie together, yet all her books can stand alone. Overnight Service has it all- second chance, enemies-to-lovers, and amazing chemistry set in the world of sports agents. So interesting! Being a major baseball fan, I love that the book opened at a game in Yankee stadium- such a fun location. Told mostly from Josh’s POV (no one does the male mind like Blakely), Haven’s chapters are fun too- some internal musings with some rules for herself and hilarious text conversations. I haven’t listened to the audiobook yet, but can’t wait- it has quite the all star cast of 10!
