Top three reasons why sleeping with the enemy is a bad idea…1. She’s my fiercest rival.2. She’s also my fiery ex.3. We’re going up against each other in a stiff competition to win the hottest new client on the market. And yet, I’d like to be up against the wall in a stiff competition to get her to call out my name.Time to double down on my resistance to her tough-as-nails, take-no-prisoners, … tough-as-nails, take-no-prisoners, sexy-as-sin attitude. The same attitude I find irresistible.
That’s a big problem, because in this race to nab the client, I run into Haven in the hotel, on the beach, in the guest quarters late at night.
Hate s-e-x would be a terrible idea.
Except, it’s the complete opposite, and now we can’t keep our hands off each other.
Trouble is, I’m not so sure it’s hate I’m feeling anymore.
And that’s the biggest reason sleeping with the enemy you’re falling for is a bad idea — my job literally depends on never letting her into my heart.

I absolutely fell in love with Haven and Josh. I was immediately drawn in with the wise-cracking, quick-witted antics of Haven and Josh. They are in love with each other but refuse to give in and tell the other about their feelings. Instead, they love in private and hate in public. The constant battle to see who is the best at what they do only ignites the fire between them when they finally decide to “talk it out”.
Haven is an Olympic athlete turned sports agent. Josh is a lawyer by trade but a sports agent by profession. Overnight Service will delight the sports fan as well as any romance reader.
Lauren Blakely has done it again. This is a must-read!
What a fun and flirty enemies to romance story! Josh and Haven are fierce rivals as sports agents. He has a background in Law, she was an Olympian athlete who knows a thing or two about staying focused on what you want. At one point they worked for the same firm, but things got complicated, and feelings came into play. So I suppose you can also rate this as a second chance romance too.
I loved the way Josh’s mind thinks. He is not that full of himself that he can’t take a good joke. And he gave as good as he got too with Haven and well as his siblings and friends. He is that guy you want as your best bud. Haven was just as dedicated to her job as Josh, but she had to go one step more as she was in a male dominated world. She could hold her own, as she was feisty and gutsy making sure she won over her deals. But what I loved most about them was deep down, they both just couldn’t get enough of each other and it showed in their feelings. The banter was amazing, which is true of Blakely’s style, and the epilogue gives you a contented and satisfied feel. Great addition to this series.
Overnight Service is a sexy, heartfelt and fun second chance romance FILLED with the best hate sex ever! Josh and Haven are two very competitive sports agents who have been at each other’s throats ever since a falling out they had. The banter between the two was absolutely fantastic and I loved everything about this couple. They were funny, sexy and their chemistry was undeniable! Overnight Service is an excellent book and I highly recommend it!
It’s no secret that I’m a huge Lauren Blakely fan. One of her books and my reading chair is definitely my happy place. Her writing brings me so much pleasure, and it’s because her stories are so much more than simple romantic comedies or contemporary romances. Richly told love stories centered around a couple that the reader is invested in immediately, bursting with romance and pulse-pounding passion and swirled together with interesting and original plots, wonderful side characters and fun, quirky details. A Blakely novel is a not-to-be-missed reading experience for a romantic fiction fan.
Overnight Service is dubbed as an enemies-to-lovers workplace romance, but it is so much more than that! Successful sports agents at rival firms, Josh and Haven are constantly competing against each other for a lot of the same clients. At one time they worked for the same firm where Josh was Haven’s mentor, and during that time, their attraction grew, and their relationship evolved into that of lovers. Before it all fell apart, they were on the cusp of something serious.
Blakely just has a way with her heroes. While this story is told in dual points of view, the bulk of the story is from Josh’s perspective. She captures the male viewpoint and experience so vividly and genuinely. It always feels authentic, and hands-down, this is my favorite quality about Lauren Blakely’s writing. She’s known for her sexy, confident, no-nonsense, mature male leads, and let me tell you, Lauren has written some swoon-worthy heroes in her career. Josh Summers will go down as one of the swooniest. This man made my heart-race and my knees weak with how in love he was with Haven, and I enjoyed sifting through his thoughts and feelings right along with him. That’s just something that Blakely does so incredibly well. She takes readers right into the minds of her heroes, and they’re never left guessing what one of them is thinking, feeling, wanting or meaning.
Overnight Service was a fiery, passionate love story between a hotter than sin hero and his perfect counterpart. It was romantic, it was blisteringly hot, and I enjoyed every single second of Josh and Haven’s sexy second-chance romance. Five smooches from me for Overnight Service by Lauren Blakely!

Steamy and Funny!!!
Josh and Haven are rivals in the sporting industry. They are both agents for different athletes and have different methods of helping their clients out. Haven used to be an Olympian Gold Medalist while Josh studied law. Each have their ways of getting the best deals for athletes.
These two started off as coworkers turned lovers turned rivals. After Haven leaves, the two become nemesis fighting to win over the same clients. It is always a push and pull between them and along with that competition is the sexual chemistry that comes along with it which is off the charts on FIRE!! If anything these two cannot stand to be around each other or without each other.
Lauren did an outstanding job on this book and I was very happy to see some familiar faces pop up while reading this insanely HOT and great rom com.
Lauren Blakely has done it again with her new enemies to lovers, second chance romance. Her smart yet snarky characters pull you in immediately, and their smoking-hot chemistry is just…wow.
Josh and Haven are fierce competitors as professional sports agents, but they are just as fierce when it comes to their feelings for each other. Whether it be anger, jealousy, feigned indifference, lust, or love, they play to win.
Their game of one-upmanship leads these two enemies to a possible second chance at love. Will they be able to put aside the past and their competitive natures long enough to see what a good thing they could have together?
What do to when your #1 rival is also a former lover? Josh Summers is about to find out!
Josh is at the top of his game – he’s successful sports agents (after all his client just won the world series), smart, funny, charming and can find a loophole in a contract like no one else.
Haven Delilah is a former Olympian, and the new kid on the sports agent block – and learned everything she knew from her former mentor, one Josh Summers.
These two come together in the quest to land the next up-and-coming athlete, each one trying to out-do the other each step of the way.
This book is a sweet, sexy and sassy enemies-to-lovers/second chance romance filled with so much quick wit and banter that you’ll be hooked from the start. Josh and Haven are magical together and you can’t help but root for them, even when they are at each other’s throats.
Once again weaving in beloved Blakey’s characters from previous stories, Josh and Haven are surrounded by an amazing cast.
This is the perfect fun, cute, sassy, sexy story to curl up with on a fall day and just ignore the world.
Enemies to Lovers done right!!!
Amazing book! I loved every minute of Josh & Haven’s love/hate relationship. Their banter was everything. The cast of characters kept me entertained & wanting more!
Such a delicious Hate-to-Love-You romance!
Haven and Josh had a brief fling a year ago, but neither of them is capable of moving on. Their professional rivalry gives them plenty of opportunities to needle each other incessantly, as if convincing themselves that they are over the other. Then one attempt to “talk it out” leads to working it out with more non-verbal methods, which only fuels the fire raging between them.
This author really knows how to build a story around terrific characters, using wit, tension, and exquisitely-detailed longing to bring us into their world and have us rooting for them right from the start. Truly a modern day Bennet and Darcy, Josh and Haven have much to work through on their way to their HEA. It’s a charming story, filled with heat and desire, without skimping on emotional development. It was a lot of fun to read, and I loved every bit. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Josh Summers has never met someone more infuriating and sexy than his business nemesis Haven Delilah… the woman pushes his buttons like no one else. They both work in the sports agency business, and every time he sets his sights on a new client she is there circling, just waiting to hijack them from him. He’ll admit she is darn good at what she does, she learned from the best of course, he taught her well… but she is really starting to test his patience, he has to up his game and teach her a lesson!
Overnight Service joins together a couple who are enemies in the sports agency world, and secret lovers outside of it. These two have a fiery, passionate, love-hate relationship that thrives on competition, both always trying to one-up the other and get the next big client. Now on opposite sides of the table they find it harder to deal with one another, Haven is always two steps behind Josh ready to woo his potential client and claim them for her own, and it drives him insane. Of all the people to have to compete with.. it’s the one woman he can’t seem to get over! Back when they shared the same employer he had a constant view of her day and night, and he started to fall hard for her, but then they were thrown for a unexpected loop at the office, and she decided to walk away…and she took his heart with her.
I loved what I found between the pages of this one, it was a constant battle on every page, where the steam level was high and the tension even higher… these two sure knew how to keep the brimming with heat!! If you like steamy office romance stories, than I highly suggest you get your hands on this one, these two will treat you to a story that does not disappoint, it’s steamy, emotional, and good on the heart!!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased opinion.
Haven Delilah and Josh Summers are fierce rivals representing the best of the best in sports. Each come at the field from different angles, Josh can pick apart a contract better than anyone else, working to get his clients the best deals possible. Haven understands what athletes need, having been an Olympic champion herself. Competing for the same clients has always worked this pair up, though they find themselves heating it up between the sheets as well.
As they work to sign the same athletes, they have to decide how far they are willing to go to win, and just what is it to win in this game?
I loved the competitive edge between these two. Though the competition is also what keeps their rivalry brewing, it is also what pulls them together. They have worked together for some time, and their history is part of what really drives them to compete. Each character is strong in their own right. Haven’s determination to succeed in a male dominated field means she doesn’t take any advancement for granted and works twice as hard to get it. Josh has his own moral compass for working with clients that causes some friction as well. He knows he won’t like every client, but when their personalities don’t mesh he has a hard time following through.
This is a steamy, rivals to lovers storyline that moves at a great pace. I loved watching their differing ways of wooing the client and could see the client choosing either as a result. Josh’s penchant for side bets causes several humorous situations as he has to pay up on lost bets. The group of people surrounding these two add a lot of interest to the story — athletes, fellow agents, and some familiar characters as well.
I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
A witty, fun, and absolutely sinful romance. Lauren Blakely brought the heat, humor, and entertainment as always. She never ceases to amaze me. Loved this story.
Say it again…Enemies to Lovers!
or so you thought!
Lauren Blakely is at it again. The sexy man xandy and a feisty heroine to keep us all on edge. The chemistry is off the charts, the emotion is strained, the need barely tethered, the competition-at an all time high.
Overnight Service is a second chance to right what was mistaken as a wrong. A chance to feel everything they’ve bottled up. An opportunity to experience everything they are…if they get out of their own way.
Loved it. Love these narrators! Lauren Blakely has upped the game in audiobooks. She makes a novel come to life with her multi-narrator audiobooks. No longer are the listeners required to consciously listen carefully to experience the novel. No we can dive in and submerge ourselves in the story, no need to listen for a pitch change, nope. These characters are brought to life with a talented cast and make even the most high strung of listeners relax and just enjoy.
Love, love love Haven & Josh!!!
Loved the push and pull dynamic between our sports agents, Josh & Haven. I enjoyed the insight into the cutthroat world of athletic representation, and how their respective approaches made them each successful. In spite of what happened in their past, the sexual chemistry and feelings burned up the pages in another winning read by Lauren!
Overnight Service is the fourth book in the Always Satisfied series by the ever-talented, Lauren Blakely. You can read it as a standalone but I do recommend reading the series since it’s so much fun and sexy with strong characters. If you have read the series then you have met these two already.
Two sports agents. Two competitors. And for two weeks a year ago they had a fling. A hot fling neither of them have forgotten especially when they are in the same room together. Except, they need to keep their hands and every other body part to themselves to keep their heads in the game. Over the last year the competition has been fierce. And it’s about to go up a notch with a bet. Who will land the next rising star?
Josh knew he had to stay away from her. Haven drove him crazy with her sharp tongue and her skirts with zippers on the outside. He hated the way she affected him. At the same time he wanted to put her up against the wall and fuck it out. Fuck out the tension he felt every time she was near him. The solution was to avoid her except the fates had other plans. She was suddenly everywhere. This woman was going to bring him to his knees if he didn’t stay in the game. He was so fucked and knew it.
Why did he have to look so hot even when he wore something ridiculous? This was Haven’s first thought. Her second thought? Why did she make the bet? Oh, she knew why…she wanted to kick his ass. It was the only way to keep her head on straight. Or so she thought. His cockiness and his cock drove her insane with want. She knew exactly how good he was at giving her one of her favorite things…orgasms. And it’s been awhile. Could she keep her hate/lust separate from her business? She had more to prove as a woman in a man’s world.
Damn!! I loved this one. I know I say that for every Lauren book but it’s always the truth. She had never disappointed me with her words. Ever. Josh and Haven’s banter was amazing!!! Flirty, funny, sexy, smart, and witty. I just knew when they would see each other it was about to be everything. And the cameos!! It’s one of my favorite things. It’s like a hidden little treasure to find. An Easter egg. If you didn’t read The Engagement Gift yet, you will want to now. I highly recommend it…it’s hot AF. Anyway, I loved every minute of this book. I have had it on my kindle teasing me for a month which is the longest a Blakely Man has teased me. So glad I finally got to it. And now I am off to read Special Delivery!
Quotes:
“I don’t play dirty ball during the day, and you know it.” I move closer to her, dropping my voice to a husky whisper. “I only play that at night.”
“You can make me come as many times as you want, but I won’t say your name.”
“We’ll see about that.”
“I guess we will.”
I’m drunk on her pleasure, intoxicated from her bliss. My mind is a white-hot haze, and all I want is more. More Haven, more sex, more her.
Lauren’s books are sometimes a hit or miss for me.. And unfortunately, this one’s kind of a miss for me. I give this one a 3.5 It’s not a bad one, but just lacks a bit of depth, I guess
I was so looking forward to it because its an enemies-to-lovers. But it didn’t really do it for me..
Josh & Haven used to work together. And at the same time, they got involved romantically. But something happened that made Haven hate him and years later, she still hate him. She moved on to build her own company and they started competing with each other.
Josh has always been attracted to Haven. That’s why he’s always avoiding her after what went down between them. But now they’re in close proximity of each other and they’re reminded of how it was always between them. Can they stay away from each other?
If you like enemies to lovers with competitive characters spitting witty banters, then you’re going to want to read this one
Another winner in this series for Lauren Blakely. Josh and Haven just sizzle on the page. An enemies to lovers story like no other. Two sports agents who are in competition over winning the same clients. Loved this story!!
Who is Josh? What does he do for a living? What has him all fired up? Who are Vivian and Ford? What happens between the three of them that gets stares at the opening day game for the Yankees? Who is Haven Delilah? What type of work does each of these folks do? This read practically kept me in stitches. You really need to read and see why I felt it got super steamy. If you don’t read it, you’ll never see why I found it so fun.

Haven and Josh have history, their paths have crossed in both their professional and personal life, both are competitive sports agents looking to be the best and that often means banging heads as they try to outwit each other. Who will win the battle of wits ……
