Top three reasons why sleeping with the enemy is a bad idea…1. She’s my fiercest rival.2. She’s also my fiery ex.3. We’re going up against each other in a stiff competition to win the hottest new client on the market. And yet, I’d like to be up against the wall in a stiff competition to get her to call out my name.Time to double down on my resistance to her tough-as-nails, take-no-prisoners, … tough-as-nails, take-no-prisoners, sexy-as-sin attitude. The same attitude I find irresistible.
That’s a big problem, because in this race to nab the client, I run into Haven in the hotel, on the beach, in the guest quarters late at night.
Hate s-e-x would be a terrible idea.
Except, it’s the complete opposite, and now we can’t keep our hands off each other.
Trouble is, I’m not so sure it’s hate I’m feeling anymore.
And that’s the biggest reason sleeping with the enemy you’re falling for is a bad idea — my job literally depends on never letting her into my heart.

Another slam dunk from the Royal Duchess of RomCom!! Lauren Blakely really knows how to craft the best heroes for us to love and laugh with. Josh is the whole package for sure. This is an enemies to lovers (who also happen to be exes) that covers all the bases; funny, sexy, fun and sweet all wrapped into one deliciously entertaining story. Haven and Josh have a really big problem, they are always competing for the same athletes to sign, but they have some serious chemistry that they can’t seem to deny. Watching them navigate through that whole mess makes for one amazing story. I absolutely loved it!!
Another amazing hit with this one by Lauren! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!! Don’t miss out on this one, it has everything you like to read!!
Meet Josh & Haven, bitter rivals, yet their attraction to each other draws them together when in the same room! The banter these two have with each other just adds to their great sexual attraction! Can these two stay off each others radar, or will working to sign the same client be their downfall!
Lauren writes these two so great, I loved them both as you will too! Yet another book that will worm it’s way into your heart by Lauren! Grab this one asap! You will not be disappointed!!
Another great read by this author who comes up with some unique scenarios between her characters. Josh is a sports agent and Haven is an Olympic medal winner who are competing in their professions as sports agents so you can imagine there are sparks flying everywhere between these two! Loved visiting a few of her characters from previous books as well. There is a great enemies-to-lovers, overall rom-com feel of this series. And although it is part of a series, it can definitely be read as a standalone. This had everything I love about Lauren Blakely’s books — hilarious banter between the characters, sweet and sexy times and a few emotional moments thrown in to round it out and make it a great 4.5 star read for me.
Oh how I love enemies to lovers and second chance genres, and this book has it all! Lauren Blakely scored another winner with me in Overnight Service, a sweet and sexy sports themed rom-com. Josh Summers, a sports agent at the top of his game not only holds a law degree but also the affections of Haven Delilah, a woman he inadvertently hurt in the past.
Haven is a former Olympic Gold medal winner who left Josh’s tutelage a scorned woman. She is headstrong, determined and fearless, opening her own sports agency in this male dominated field. She is smart and sassy, and now a rival of Josh’s often going after the same professional athletes to represent. These two are on fire every time they are near each other and it’s so fun to read. Their wit, banter, and one-line zingers are all just foreplay for these two vulnerable former lovers, who still harbor a deep emotional connection as well as an insane physical attraction.
Josh, as well as all of Lauren’s heroes, are really great guys and Josh won’t let you down in Overnight Service. He is smart and talented, and there is no doubt where his loyalties lie. He is so enamored with her and I loved watching their romance unfold. In between their bickering and sexy times, I loved how he put Haven first time and time again, often when she didn’t even know it. Swoon. Swoon. Swoon. These two have so much in common and once they let down their guard, clear up the miscommunications, and trust one another, they are a perfect match.
Overnight Service is a standalone, and the writing was flawless. I loved the cameos by secondary characters Jason and Sloan, and Lily (a reporter) and Finn from the Engagement Gift! Can’t wait for Jake’s story; I know it’s going to be fabulous!
Second chance romance, competitors, enemies, & oh so much chemistry, this book has all of that and more. Another Lauren Blakely hit.
Brilliant, witty, and full of steamy fire, this is classic Lauren Blakely that was unputadownable!!
Josh Summers is full of swagger and possesses a ton of sexy confidence that makes him a yummy, sexy, suit wearing fiction boyfriend. As one of New York’s top sports agents he needs lots of confidence for his clients, but he also keeps that rolling over into his personal life, he oozes a smooth talking sinner. It’s probably one of the reasons Haven Delilah has trouble keeping away from him. Who wouldn’t?
Haven is competitive, she’s been a gold medalist after all, but now she’s Josh’s competition and he loves to win. She occupies his headspace way too much, for lots of reasons, but winning when she offers up a bet is just one of them. He wants to win at all things when it comes to her, he just isn’t sure some of them are healthy obsessions.
Can he have the job and keep her too? Perhaps if there is lots of hate sex involved.
Overnight Service is fun, super steamy, and a standalone in this great series.
I love a good enemies-to-lovers story so Overnight Service was right up my alley. Lauren Blakely created the perfect love-hate dynamic between Josh and Haven and readers will fall in love with both characters right from the start. Both are successful and driven, thriving on competition and the chase as high-level sports agents. With a shared steamy past, these two love to hate one another. Their witty, flirty banter reveals that the “hate” part of their relationship isn’t necessarily what it seems. These two, in a word, are electric. Their chemistry is off the charts and I felt their connection instantaneously. Blakely’s words leap off the page making these characters come to life. As we’ve come to expect, the author amps up the steam factor, giving Josh and Haven a super sexy story. They know exactly how to work out their “hate” for each other.
Overnight Service was a joy to read. It made me laugh and it put a huge smile on my face as I devoured every page. Readers will love seeing some familiar characters as well as meeting new ones. I always love how Blakely makes those connections. It’s a treat for long-time readers but doesn’t offer any spoilers for those who are new to her books. Grab Overnight Service and dive right in to this fun, sexy read. You won’t regret it! 5 stars
One thing I know beyond a shadow of a doubt. You can never go wrong with a Lauren Blakely rom com. This was a sweet, sexy and fun read with wonderful characters, Josh Summers and Haven Delilah, a lovers to enemies to lovers romance if you will. Both are sports agent rivals, regularly up against each other to win the best athletes in the world. There’s just one huge problem, they can’t seen to keep their hands off each. I loved the story, told in dual POV, and weighted more on Josh’s POV, I loved his dilemmas, and there were plenty of them. He was truly adorable, I loved being in his mindset. A full five star read for me.
Overnight Service is another great romance by Lauren Blakely that has it all… second chances, enemies to lovers and some hot hate sex! As always with Lauren Blakely, the characters are wonderful and realistic. Haven, a former snowboarding olympian, is a sports agent who started her own firm and is in constant competition with Josh for clients. Josh and Haven were colleagues and lovers before she left and struck out on her own, now they can’t help but throw insults at each other. I love the banter and the way they rile each other up, it seriously adds to the chemistry… even though avoidance is key for them, they can’t help but be drawn back together constantly. Overnight Service is a perfect second chance love story, there is no extra angst or drama to distract from the fact that Haven and Josh belong together.
Another Winner!
Lauren Blakely’s books just keep getting better and better. And what could be better then some hot hate sex between two rivals who also happen to be former lovers that worked together. This is Josh Summers and Haven Delilah’s story. These two use to work together when Josh was her mentor and they weren’t suppose to have a relationship, but they gave into temptation and then she left the job. Lauren writes this story with just the right amount of humor, frustration, sexual tension and hot chemistry. The way that Josh and Haven banter back and forth is entertaining. I wasn’t sure how Lauren was going to give these two their HEA, but the ending is just perfect. I loved everything about this book and can’t wait for the next one.
Another fun book from Lauren Blakely. This is the 4th in her Always Satisfied series, but completely a standalone with a happily ever after. If you’ve read her other books you just get the bonus of catching up with some previous characters. This is Josh and Haven’s story, two top notch sports agents who go from co-workers & lovers to fierce rivals & lovers. Of course they are meant to be together, but getting there is half the fun. If you like smart characters, witty dialogue & hot sex, you should be reading Lauren Blakely!!
Another great Lauren Blakely book!
I’ve really enjoyed reading this series, there so easy to read and get lost into and then you look at the % and see half the book is gone already. I love those types of books.
I really like Josh, he had good intentions in everything he done, maybe he should explain things abit more sometimes but his heart was in the right place.
Haven i really liked too, she was strong and had a backbone but she kinda needed to in a male dominated career world but she holds her ground well.
All the books I’ve read in this series have been so good! I think the only ones i haven’t read are the .5 ones more because i didn’t know they existed. But hey i can always go back!
Competitors, Rivals, Former lovers. This book is so hot! These two have such chemistry and so much sexual tension and frustration. Can they resist the temptation to fall back into bed? Not likely!
Josh Summers is a successful sports agent with a law background. He is sexy, charming, funny, detail-oriented, and extremely competitive.
Former Olympian, Haven Delilah is his nemesis. His former protege’ and colleague is now a rival sports agent. She is smart and full of sass and attitude. She is as competitive as he is and just as stubborn. And they are now in direct opposition as they chase down the same athletes for representation.
They have a history that puts them at odds and they never really talked about it. They have witty and feisty banter, and love pushing the other’s buttons. They have both been trying to follow their best steps to resistance: avoidance, antagonism, outdoing the other, killing with kindness, and getting each other out of their systems. But they keep getting pushed back into closer proximity and temptation. But they also know sleeping with the enemy can be a dangerous business.
Can they find a way to reconcile their past and co-exist in the present in order to have a chance at a peaceful future?
This is a fiery, sexy, witty, and heartfelt lovers-to-enemies-to-lovers romance. These two are so much fun! They have such great rapport, chemistry, and changing dynamics that keep it interesting. It is a male point of view book (which are my favorite…especially Lauren’s unfiltered male narrators), but Haven is represented in other ways. And she also lets some other characters talk to us as well, and that made me so happy. I love this world created around sports agents and athletes. It has plenty of fun cameos (I was so excited about some of these) and some twists. It also introduces some interesting new characters like Josh’s three sisters and other agents and athletes that I hope we might see again in the future.
