The epic conclusion to the Edge Series.
What kind of man would die to save his wife?
The only thing that ever stood between me and madness was my wife.
And now, she’s in trouble. She’s falling into the hole that almost ended me. The only thing standing between her and the fate I escaped is me.
But I have no expertise in this. No knowledge but what she taught me. I’m flying blind here….and every … blind here….and every moment that passes brings me closer to losing her.
She says I’m crossing the line, but she can draw a million lines around her and I’ll cross every single one to get to her, even if it destroys me.

The long awaited conclusion to Greyson and Caden’s story.
They’ve been through he11 together. The ending of the previous book had me gasping and my heart breaking. She did it. She sacrificed herself for him. For them. She knew the risk she was taking and she didn’t hesitate.
And, you got it! Not a placebo. What follows is so hard to read. The torture we watch Caden endure we now watch Greyson spiral through. And worse, she knows that it’s hapoening. Her trigger for the switches! Caden figures it out. But their hearts and minds are truly tortured.
.
There is a lot of moving through time and personalities and it’s a story you have to focus on or you’ll miss important details. This makes for slower reading. But it’s Caden and Greyson, right?
This was her journey to healing and Caden put her first, the same as she did for him. Their sacrifices. Their psi . Their deep connection. Thst’s LOVE!
No one writes a story like CD Reiss, absolutely no one. What a great conclusion Over the Edge is for The Edge series!! I had no idea at all how CD Reiss was going to be able to wrap this one up, but wrap it up she did. Wow!! Over the Edge is the perfect conclusion to this absolutely masterfully crafted psychologically thrilling story.
During the first three books in the series we see Grayson’s strength in helping Caden battle his demons and the events of his past that he refuses to fully acknowledge and accept, which lead to the appearance of his demons, but towards the end of book three we see a turn, and here in book 4, we truly see Caden become the strength and fighter that Greyson needs him to be. Caden becomes the one fighting wholeheartedly for their marriage, their love, and their sanity. He is the one holding Greyson together now, and whether he realized it or not, he had been holding her together from the beginning. This is one couple that will go to the extremes for each other, that is how much they love each other. Caden and Greyson are a perfect match.
So, as a reader, you should be prepared for a psychological ride that will have you afraid to continue, but at the same time afraid not to continue, because you need to know how everything will come together in the end. Over the Edge, actually the entire series, is one scary, dark, twisted, mind bending roller coaster of a ride that you will not want to get off. This series is absolutely brilliant.
There isn’t a whole lot of detail I can get in without revealing how this book ends. I have been in a book hangover since finishing it over the weekend and I don’t even know how to put into words what I feel even 4 days later. I loved this series. It pulled me in from the beginning and I didn’t know what kind of a mind f*** I was in for. I was surprised around every corner, and Christine found a way to really make me question my own sanity.
This series was everything I needed, and this book was everything it needed to be to wrap up this mind-altering journey of Greyson and Caden. In the final book of the series, Greyson fights for her own sanity and Caden must journey along with her to protect her from the depths of her own mind. I have loved these two since day one and seeing their struggles as they deal with the aftermath of a war, being thrown back into it, and seeing how they come out of it was simply a voyage I never envisioned possible for them. They are both very strong characters and that is fully put to the test in Over the Edge. I loved everything about it and am so sad it’s over but will say it’s one of the best series to read this year.
If you are looking for something different and will pull you apart as it’s putting you back together, this is the series for you! What a conclusion to The Edge series…WOW. Just WOW!
Oh My Goodness!! The conclusion to the Edge Series is a heart stopper. Over the Edge is such an appropriate title. The thrilling love story of Caden and Grey continues with more questions of the past, more drama, more angst, and more surprises. I really enjoyed this well-written series, it had me sitting on the edge of my seat not wanting to pause at any point. I recommend these books with lots of action, love and psychological twists.
4.5 Stars
Having spent the summer being swept up in CD a Reiss’s Edge series, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect with the last book. Following Caden and Greyson’s story has been a whirlwind of sex, action, emotion and psychological suspense. At the end of the last book, Greyson made a decision to save Caden that had me anxious to see how that decision would unfold. I knew their would be consequences to her actions, but I’m not sure if she considered how very much she would be effected by it. It set us up for a royal reversal. Most of the series, she was willing to risk it all to save Caden. I’m Over the Edge it’s now Caden who needs to save Greyson.
This book was the most emotionally charged read of the series for me. My heart was in knots at times and it broke for everything these two incredibly strong characters had to endure to find their happy ending. This series brought home the devastation war can impose on those tasked with fighting them and the harsh realities of PTSD and how it can change the people who suffer with it and their loved ones. I’ve not previously read a series quite like this one and personally, I think it is the best series CD Reiss has written to date. Overall It is complex, uncomfortable and immensely satisfying.
Holy mother of everything holy – this series deserves 100 stars! Over the Edge is the stunning conclusion to this explosively sexy & suspenseful series.
I have always believed that CD Reiss has a special talent for impeccably intelligent writing and absolutely over the top fantastic articulation! She has a definite, way with words. Then there is this beautifully woven web of a story full of twisty anticipation and wicked sexy delicious-ness that can’t be rivaled. There is nothing to compare The Edge Series to. Let me tell you – her writing is on a level of awesome that she alone achieves! I just want to follow her around and absorb her amazing-ness.
In this final installment we find out how or if the BiCam injection Greyson takes, which was meant for her honk of a husband Caden, affects her. The journey these characters endures…the surprises and twists…had me on edge, jumpy, fidgety, sitting forward one moment, ready to toss my kindle against a wall the next. I was holding my breath and gasping in relief from one paragraph to the next. All from these brilliant WORDS! Gah, I can’t even. This series is a MUST READ!
I read a lot. A LOT. I am telling you with absolute certainty that this is by far one of the best series I have ever read. Like EVER! There are maybe 5 gut wrenching, emotion evoking, suspenseful or steamy series that really MOVED ME and The Edge is one of them for sure.
This final installment of The Edge series was one hell of a ride. I buckled up and was ready cause with how the previous book ended I knew Over The Edge would come at me with 100mph and I was right. Greyson and Caden’s love is forever and they will do anything for one another. Greyson proved and showed that in the previous three books and culminated with the ending of Broken Edge. She took a drug that was intended for Caden and now all bets were off.
How would Greyson react to something that wasn’t meant for her and would she remain the woman Caden knows and loves? Over The Edge continues right where Broken Edge ended. With Greyson taking the BiCam shot. This time around it’s Caden’s turn to stand by his love and do whatever it’s in his power to bring his woman back cause he slowly sees different sides to this woman that isn’t Greyson. Or are they?
There were so many thrilling scenes in Over The Edge and especially the reason for why Greyson is the way she is sexually. I was biting my nails cause the way CD Reiss unveiled Greyson’s past hidden trauma was done meticulously and flawlessly. I had no idea where the story was going, all I knew was Caden and Greyson’s love was strong and could survive anything.
If you enjoy a psychological romance then The Edge series it IT.
4 Forward Stars
what an epic conclusion to this roller-coaster ride! This series kept me on the edge and questioning my own sanity. I was full of much questions and in book 4 we get ALL the answers. This story is like no other story I’ve read. its full of suspense, very intriguing! no matter how you try you wont figure it out.
In this story the roles are switched. Its Caden that is there for Greyson. Its her turn to face her fears. Caden learns what he put her through. but these two have fought so hard, and so much for each other. Its one of my favorite thing abut this story. The love these two have, their struggle never tore them apart, on the contrary it brought them closer.
I’m sad its over. even with all the madness, the craziness and all the questions I got, this series was so good. One of the best roller-coaster read I’ve had this year! But it ended perfectly. CD Reiss did such a great job with this story and with the characters. I hope to get a snip of what they are upset to in the near future. I got so invest in these two, they have become part of my growing book family.
“The only thing I live for. It’s you, baby. You’re gravity. You’re the sky. You’re the air. You’re the first breath in the morning and my dreams at night. I’m sure of you because you’re mine.”
This is the end but I’m not ready to let go! Caden and Greyson’s intense, emotional, and insanely sexy conclusion is here with Over the Edge. CD Reiss has once again reduced my psyche to mush. My emotions are all over the place and I’m not even really sure how to write this review. The Edge series has got to be one of the most scorching hot reads of the year, as well as, one of the most emotionally taxing dark romances of the year. It’s so easy to lose yourself in this story. It’s raw, emotional, intense, bold, moving, and just an all-around mind fuck of a read.
I’m not surprised that I was so affected by Caden and Greyson with an author like CD Reiss behind the pages. She’s got a certain flair…a certain brilliance in her writing that makes her stories unputdownable. This author doesn’t just produce run-of-the-mill romances…she makes her readers dig deep, makes them think about every single word on the page and what they mean on a grander scale. She transports us to a world we’ve never been to and gives us a storyline we’ve never read before. Her stories contain such power and meaning that you can’t help but become captive to her words. Yes, I’m devastated that I have to say goodbye to these characters and this series, but I’m so incredibly impressed with how it all turned out. I’m satisfied, content, and extremely happy with the ending. CD Reiss has once again raised the bar, even for herself. I can’t wait to see what originality she treats us with, in the future!
The Edge is not easy to write about, because I don’t want to spoil anything. I’ll let you read the blurbs and just tell you how it made me feel, which is off-balance. I felt completely, addictively and exhilaratingly off-balance during the entire series, because I had no idea where the story would go next. It was like I was teetering on the edge of something, but I wasn’t sure what, and I was never certain whether CD Reiss was about to push me over the ledge, so to speak. I had to trust her, and she didn’t fail me, and I can assure that you can trust her, too.
While The Edge is a suspenseful, psychological mind-bender, it’s an epic love story at its core with a thoroughly satisfying ending. It has a complex, labyrinth-like plot that will drive you to read it again and again in order to attempt to explore every cleverly crafted nuance. It’s tautly written, erotic, thought-provoking, intense and downright brilliant.

ARC provided, but this review was voluntarily and honestly written.
Holy Crapola!!! CD Reiss takes you on an emotional thrill ride of both gut wrenching and heart stopping moments in this series finale book. Given the way Broken Edge ended, I was equal parts captivated and jittery in anticipation of how Over The Edge would play out. Make no mistake, this is the edge of your seat culmination of an all encompassing love story between two strong, resilient, charismatic characters who somehow wade through an psychologically charged mine field and come out the other side stronger than ever.
Greyson Frazier thought she saved her husband Caden St. John from a certain fate when she made a move that could risk her career. What she didn’t consider was how it could affect her as a person. Forced to face her demons, she must decide to let Caden in or gamble losing herself.
At the end of last book, I wondered which direction this one is going to go. What happened last time was interesting, however I felt it was repetitive here. It was something that I already experienced so it felt slow and detached.
However, I’m glad the pace picked up towards the end of the book. The revelation of Greyson’s past added layers to her character and made the story more engaging.
Over The Edge is the conclusion of The Edge series. It’s recommended to readers looking for a sexy romance with element of suspense.
Note: I have a soft spot for that one character. I wanted to know more about his issue/situation.
All of the intricate groundwork has been laid out before us in the other books for this series. Time for all of our questions to be answered in this book. The dynamic of a marriage is definitely a key to this whole story…. is love enough to keep it together, or do we need to step up in another capacity? And adding the military gives another unique twist to the situation, as well as a few things that have happened previously which are crucial and different.
All I can say is what an ending to another great series. Christine always comes up with new ways to surprise her readers, and this book is no exception – that is why she is the Queen and Master of the mindf*, and this series solidifies it.
Over the Edge is mind blowingly brilliant!! CD Reiss wrapped up Caden and Greyson story perfectly. I was on the edge of my seat and couldn’t put it down until I finished.
Wow wow wow!!!!! I’m in awe in how the author was able to wrap this suspenseful but yet romantic story. After the cliffhanger in the previous book I honestly didn’t know what to expect or how things were going to turn out. I must say I fell in love with Caden more and more after each chapter, . His wife is and always will be his first priority. He goes to lengths for his love and marriage with Greyson that it was just squeezing my heart.
Greyson was just much more bada$$ but with a twist. Her love for Caden and the need she feels to protect him is just wow. These two together are one dynamic duo which is emphasized more in this conclusion. They are a force to be reckoned with. They go thru somethings and Caden reaction and attitude throughout the entire process was just .
I can’t spoil because it’s no fun but there are some events that will have you gasping and wondering omg what’s next?!?! Or omg what’s going to happen now?!?! You see how strong these two are regardless of whatever curveball life throws at them.
The epilogues show their love and their very much deserved HEA but still shows some concerns for things but damn what a good book and ending. The author knocked it out the park with this series.
There was truly no better way to conclude the story of Greyson and Caden. Every single book in this series had me breathless, on the edge of my seat throughout the entire ride, trying to figure out what was going to happen.
And boy, was I wrong.
Over the Edge did exactly that, took us right over with what can only be described as the most intense ride I know I’ve ever been on. CD Reiss is the absolutely master of these mind-blowing, suspense filled stories that are dark, dirty and oh so perfect. I highly recommend the entire series.
Absolutely epic ending to a wonderful story! Greyson and Caden did not disappoint anyone who was looking to see more of their absolute devotion to one another! Finding out more about Greyson’s past was so fascinating. The unorthodox way that Caden decided to handle Greyson in her time of need was so brave and really really shows you his love and devotion! I can’t go on enough about how great this complex couple is! I love them. The whole series was so epic it’s unreal! I definitely think everyone should read it now!!!
I thought I was prepared for the conclusion to Greyson and Caden’s story…
I thought I could handle one last go around dealing with split personalities, lost memories, and the extreme lengths that would need to be taken to ensure that love conquered all.
I thought that once Caden found his way back to himself and to his wife regardless of what had happened in the past, that the only direction they would head would be forward.
But that’s not how things went…that’s not the path that Greyson and Caden could travel because there were pivotal moments from the past that still needed to be dealt with…that still needed to be
The fact that Greyson endured what she did with Caden illustrates just how grounded her mental state was and that her love for him is what kept her going…what guided her to make choices that could possibly do more harm than help, but there was no other course of action that Greyson would take because Caden was hers to protect, to love, to bring back from the edge.
But now that Greyson has gone over the edge, it’s Caden’s turn to step up…to do whatever it takes to hold onto his wife…his soulmate…the woman who owns him body and soul, and because they’ve both now been roughed up, on the edge, broken by the edge, and brought to the edge, there’s only one way for them to go in order to move forward, to piece together the fractures they’ve endured and be made whole by each other’s vow to love, to honor, and to cherish until death do them part, and while they’ve definitely walked to that edge and sacrificed their minds and their bodies, they’ve never willingly given up, and that’s what’s most noted throughout the course of this entire mind boggling series.
4.5 Poison Apples
C.D. Reiss just about gave me a heart attack!!!!! Seriously near the end I was freaking out. Hard core.
The Edge series has been so crazy, such a wild ride. This is the only book with a title I could figure out- maybe I need to reread them all with fresh eyes. Caden and Greyson just continue to prove the depth of their love and the lengths they will go to. They are totally a power couple and their love and strength is inspiring. I’m crying, and it’s over, but this series has affected me so much. I love it as much as I love the Submission series and all the related books. That’s a tremendous feat.
The stunning Edge Series comes to a conclusion in an incredibly dramatic fashion. Where Broken Edge ends we find ourselves shattered by Greyson’s choice. The ramifications yet to be determined.
With the sense of the sky splitting in two and the eeriness of the feeling of being watched, Greyson grapples with her sanity the one thing besides Caden’s love that she knows is a certainty. However, deep down she knows that things are about to change.
Caught in the vortex of why did she do it? Caden has danced with this devil. He knows what could be coming. With only Ronin to help set it straight, Caden recognizes that this time he is going to be the one to pull Greyson from the depths to which her mind will go. A past trauma will rear its ugly head. Demons will be faced and Caden will sacrifice so much to make Grey whole again.
CD Reiss delivers a densely packed story with all the heat she is known for. She weaves an incredible tale of love conquering all. This series will transport you and make you think and read and reread so no detail is missed.
