What happens when a dead body crashes your wedding day? Find out how Brighton and friends will handle this unexpected guest.Over the Broom is book 9 in the Wicked Witches of Coventry cozy mystery series.
I don’t need to finish to rate. As I type this, I am in the middle of chapter four of eight. I am still going to continue reading to the end of the series because I am into this world and the characters, but this book is so terrible and clearly written fast without care to editing or world-building that I desire to rate it now. If it wasn’t for Familiar Kitten Mysteries and the few decent books so far in Wicked Witches of Coventry, I wouldn’t be giving this story the time of day. Seriously. If this was the first book, I would be done by this point and wishing I hadn’t wasted money.
I would go into details, but that would be long and winded. My notes can be found under the Wicked Witches of Coventry: The Complete Series. I am rating each book individually as I read.

Well, Brighton finally has her deepest wish, she is pregnant. Her best friend eloped and it seems celebrations are due all around. That is until a witch dies of poison and it renews the threat to her baby, that was never solved. Brighton goes on the offensive as she tries to eliminate the risk.
This charming paranormal cozy mystery is book nine in the Wicked Witches of Coventry series. Set in a small town, this cozy is filled with interesting and quirky characters that draw you into the story and engage you until the end. Like the others in this series, the mystery is full of surprises, twists danger and suspense. This mystery was fun to read as it furthered along the love story between Brighton and Remy. I can hardly wait to read the next in the series.

Over the Broom has blown my mind. In such a short time, readers have grown with Brighton and now we get to embark upon the next journey in her life. All of the characters are relatable and wonderfully written. Can’t wait to read the next book.

Whew what a great ride. This story was so good that I could not put it down, and kept reading until it ended. Only now I want to read the next book right away. The plot was well crafted and the twists and turns in the story added to the mystery. The characters in this series are favorites. Remy and Brighton and the Skeenbauer coven are a force to be reckoned with. They are powerful and very protective. I can’t wait to read the Baby Broom. This series should be on everyone’s TBR list.
