From a USA TODAY bestselling author, Outlaw is the first in a series of piracy, conspiracy, and space’s most dangerous janitor._____IN THE YEAR 2010, an alien virus nearly wiped out the human race. A thousand years later, mankind has recovered and ventured into space. There has been no sign of the aliens since. Humanity remains confined to the Solar System. All that is about to change.Mazzy Webber … to change.
Mazzy Webber is a lowly janitor on a third-rate cargo ship. Deeply in debt, when his captain decides to turn pirate, he leaps at the chance.
A modern Robin Hood—minus the part where he gives back to the poor—Webber lays down a few ground rules. No attacking manned ships, and no stealing from anyone who can’t afford it. Within months, he and the crew are out of debt. Their next target will make them rich.
But the attack goes all wrong. The target’s cargo could be the death of them—or it could be the key to reaching the stars.

This must not be my genre.
Very Good
Interesting depictions of life on out- of – this world ( literally!) stations and planets.
While this story did not go as I expected, I found it believable and I enjoyed the plot and progression. A lot of information to absorb but good timing and story progression. I found the characters to be people I could identify with. The story was absorbing.
I thoroughly enjoyed this read.
Hoping to find more books to continue to follow the story line.
I enjoyed it. I have continued to read the series.
This is a good book for the young reader. It starts with a “failed” mission. A brief message brings about an investigation. Several characters and activities are introduced that are brought together to form a team.
Clues are woven throughout and you may see what is coming before the storyline tells you, but, don’t assume. Enjoy the read, i …
I enjoyed this book very much and am looking forward to anything I could find in the series thank you
Exciting space battles with wild west flair. Left me wanting more. Great series and pleased to pick this one up.
Put me to sleep. I stopped “forcing” myself to read this at page 44. It was a rough start getting into it and it took forever to get into the characters. This was a definite pass for me. I literally fell asleep by page 40. Gave it a few more pages and it wasn’t getting any better so gave it up!
Very good read
Good fast-paced read, bought the sequel
Really interesting plot development. Characters, even those killed off, are interesting and real. Hope you enjoy the LOTR, it is a nerd fest.
Starts with murder, goes to cargo ship that turns into a pirate ship. It is set up by a mobster to steal alien tech. All the while a couple of detectives are trying to solve the disappearance of a scientist.
Fun read
A little tough to get in to, scattered characters making the storyline hard to follow until the characters come together.
was dragged out in some areas, in others you think you missed something. kind of fragmented
Love the story, little bit hard to get into at first but totally worth sticking with it. I definitely want to know what comes next for these characters.
I did not realize that this was a far-future sequel to the breaker series. It definitely explains why I tore through the book. I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the series. Great storytelling.
