FBI agent Drex Easton is relentlessly driven by a single goal: to outmaneuver the conman once known as Weston Graham. Over the past thirty years, Weston has assumed … the past thirty years, Weston has assumed many names and countless disguises, enabling him to lure eight wealthy women out of their fortunes before they disappeared without a trace, their families left without answers and the authorities without clues. The only common trait among the victims: a new man in their life who also vanished, leaving behind no evidence of his existence . . . except for one signature custom.
Drex is convinced that these women have been murdered, and that the man he knows as Weston Graham is the sociopath responsible. But each time Drex gets close to catching him, Weston trades one persona for another and disappears again. Now, for the first time in their long game of cat and mouse, Drex has a suspect in sight.
Attractive and charming, Jasper Ford is recently married to a successful businesswoman many years his junior, Talia Shafer. Drex insinuates himself into their lives, posing as a new neighbor and setting up surveillance on their house. The closer he gets to the couple, the more convinced he becomes that Jasper is the clever, merciless predator he’s sought–and that his own attraction to Talia threatens to compromise his purpose and integrity.
This is Drex’s one chance to outfox his cunning nemesis before he murders again and eludes justice forever. But first he must determine if the desirable Talia is a heartless accomplice . . . or the next victim.

Outfox had a tangled mystery that kept me turning pages with Sandra Brown’s effortless ability to keep the intensity of both the story and characters at a fever pitch. I always enjoy her books! She has a way of capturing scenes that stay with me for years. Not all books can do that. I love it when they do.
DNF at 55%. I really tried to get into this book and like it enough to finish it but, I just couldn’t do it anymore. It was simply too BORING!!! When I read the summary that an FBI agent was pursuing a killer, I thought I was getting the FBI pulling out all the force of the bureau to catch the murderer. NOT!!!
You get one agent (with a vendetta) on vacation, while enlisting a couple of bureau friends who are helping (on the DL) to exact some kind of wacky justice. GOOD GRIEF!!! Who knows, maybe this would have improved farther along but I simply don’t care.
Had me at the get go. Loved the characters and the plot. Brown always comes through and I can’t wait to read the next book by her.
Outfox by Sandra Brown is, in my opinion an intense psychological thriller that kept me on the edge of my seat from the very first page. Without giving away any spoilers, she brilliantly created the characters. In my opinion, the sex scenes were too graphic and didn’t really add to the storyline. I rated it a high five.
My favorite author!!
Sandra Brown — always excellent!
Another page turner by Sandra Brown. Plot twists galore and great characters.
Sandra Brown did not disappoint with Outfox. Every time I thought I had everything figured out there was a twist I didn’t see coming.
The story and plot were good, but it unfolded so slowly with recap after recap. I listened to the audio, and I also don’t think it had the right choice of narrator for a thriller/romantic suspense tone. I would recommend reading the print/ebook version so you can have the right tone in your mind and breeze through the repetitive parts.
Sandra Brown did not disappoint me! This was the best book I have read so far of hers. So many twists and turns it was astonishing! Would definitely recommend this book!
Classic Sandra Brown suspense with a dash of steam. Although I enjoyed this book, If it had a few less pages it may have had a faster pace. Still, good characters and plot keep this novel on the bestseller list.
The audio version features a really good narrator and that lends a great deal to this thriller.
Excellent book! Sandra Brown always authors well thought-out stories.
I enjoyed the book, but thought STING was a better plotted story with more suspense and surprises. OUTFOX dragged in placed and perhaps was too long.
Perfect amount of suspense and steam. Quintessential Sandra Brown.
Great read. Very enjoyable.
Listened to the audio book. The overall plot was not bad, good twist at the end. I found it to be very slow moving and much longer than it needed to be. No reason this book had to be 14 hours! It could have been cut by one third and still got the point across.
A serial killer/chameleon has been zeroing in on wealthy women for decades. Drex Easton has been on the killer’s trail. Sandra Brown’s OUTFOX is a fast-moving adventure with unusual but realistic characters. Can Drex prove who the killer is before he strikes again? Great read.
Suspenseful page turner and unpredictable!
A real page turner. The characters are interesting and the story grabs your interest from page 1.
Outfoxed starts a little slow but still manages to keep your interest. However, once the plot starts to unfold it becomes a “page turner”. Victim or criminal? The writer has you questioning the main characters until the end. A most enjoyable read.
