Arielle Jackman grew up as an Army brat—and then she became an Army wife. Now she’s widowed and looking for something she’s never had… roots. Back in her favorite Texas town, she’s teaching middle-schoolers, and since she and her husband never had any, she considers them all her kids. But the evenings are lonely, and Arielle’s wondering if she should get out and make some friends. Then friendship … friendship finds her again, in the form of an old childhood acquaintance, Cavanagh Wraggs.
Known as a weapon of mass destruction for the Ranger Ops team, Cav is always neck-deep in danger. He hates admitting that he’s struggling to deal with the stresses of the position, especially after a strike goes sideways—and he’s responsible. As a way to take his mind off things, he volunteers at a park cleanup program, but finds another distraction in a very sexy Ms. Jackman as she bends over to pick up trash. Talk about hot for teacher. Then he recognizes the big soft brown eyes of the girl he once knew and is instantly hooked.
As things heat up and Arielle begins to let go of her past, she’s smacked in the face to learn the sweet-talkin’ muscled man is part of a special ops team. Her heart can’t take the military life a second time around, especially knowing how it could end. Now Cav is facing some harsh choices—lose the job and team he loves or the woman who makes him happier than he’s ever imagined. Maybe, just maybe, he can find a way to keep it all.

A very nice story.
Arielle is now in Rose, Texas hoping to put down roots after the loss of her husband. It was a lonely life until an old friend Cav showed up. The chemistry was there but for Arielle, there is a major problem. This was a truly good story to add to the series it was so well-written. This one will capture your heart. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
The last Ranger Ops finally gets his girl and what a wild ride it is. I loved Cav so much because even with his inability to want something serious, he recognized that he needed Arielle for that. Their relationship developed quickly but because they already knew each other, it didn’t feel rushed. It felt right. There’s action, excitement, fear, guilt, and passion and love. There’s real fear in having a relationship with someone in the military but there risks with everything and here we have Arielle realizing that having Cav in her life is more important and taking a risk. This story also shows you that support is needed and should be seeked and it’s ok to need that help sometimes. I loved this story. I am sad to see them go.

I loved this explosive action romance!
Cav, the last single member of Ranger Ops, is their bomb technician. Helping at a park clean-up day in the town he grew up in, he meets Arielle, the grown-up version of the girl he crushed on in school. Sparks fly immediately as these two can barely keep their hands off each other, and we get to see an absolutely delicious and dirty side of Cav as he shows Arielle just how good they are together.
Our young lovers’ path to their HEA is fraught with tension as Arielle learns to deal with the constant worry about Cav’s safety on the job. There’s a bomber threatening the school where Arielle works, which culminates in a nail-biting suspenseful scene that solidifies their feelings for each other.
I really enjoyed Arielle’s character. Not as take-charge or driven as some of the other Ranger Ops women, still she spearheads a brilliant way for all the women to help support each other while their guys are out in the field. And Cav – whew! Can a book boyfriend also be my hall pass? He’s the total package – hot and dirty, sweet and gentle, possessive and protective.
I loved this delightful romance, as I have loved every one of this series. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Out of Range” is the perfect mix of adventure, drama and steamy sexual chemistry that is as hot as molten lava! I read Cav and Arielle’s story in a single sitting, devouring it in lieu of sleep.
It’s the final book in the Ranger Ops series. As always I am sad when a particularly good series comes to a close but there was one quick line in the book that gave me hope for what is hopefully to come…. author Em Petrova mentioned that there are currently 3 special force teams in the South working with the OFFSUS decision of Homeland Security. So far we have been gifted with the Knight Ops Series and now the Ranger Ops. I’m looking forward to seeing if a new series is debuted next.
This book and every book in this series is an absolute “must read”!

Cav and Arielle meet up again in Texas. He lives there and she is now living there after being widowed. She’s had too much Army in her life and is done with military men. That works until she meets Cav again and she’s not very happy about his job in Special Ops. Deja vu? Well, she is lonely and he is ready to settle down like his teammates. I like that he was open with her about his job telling her more than he should so she would worry less. Since they are not on a base, she, the wives and girlfriends develop a support network for military, police and other first responders for when their partners are working in dangerous situations. The characters were well developed and the story flowed without getting boring. Nicely written and very enjoyable read.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book
Em Petrova has written a captivating and enthralling story. Filled with cowboys and falling in love. I love the passion Out of Range has, a truly beautiful read.
Explosion Expert – Out of all the Ranger Ops books, the background of Cav and Arielle’s story is the one that hits closest to home. The terrorism in this book is scary to think of. Good thing Cav’s smooth drawls, dirty talks and horizontal explosion expertise is enough to distract a reader from worries. Even though Arielle has misgivings in falling in love again, I think Cav’s bomb detonation talent and their undeniable connection to each other persuaded her to take a chance again. Seriously, how do you go back to knitting after that? [I received an advanced copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.]
Another five star read from the Ranger Ops team. I love revisiting this band of big gruff men who fall head over heals for their women. This time we find Cav reconnecting with a middle school friend, in a blast of the past. Arielle is hesitant to say the least and she has a right to be. I love the growth that both Arielle and Cav exhibit. I love that they connect in a big way and go after what they want even with the pain of the past. The character building, the camaraderie between the guys and the connection of the group of ladies that love them is heartwarming and sweet and swoon worthy. Another one not to be missed.

I really enjoyed reading this story . I was pulled in from the start and read it in one night I just could not put it down . It is intense and sexy and definitely action packed . Cavanagh Wraggs (Cav ) is part of the Ranger Ops team . Cab volunteers to help clean up the Park .There he finds Arielle Jackman the girl he knew when they were young and the connection is there but it’s smoking hot now as adults .
Danger is Cavanaghs middle name being explosive expert for Ranger Ops . Arielle is a school teacher but soon danger finds her and Cavs skills will be tested . Cavanagh is the last of The Ranger Ops team to fall in love . I highly recommend taking the time to read and enjoy .

Em Petrova’s Ranger Ops have captivated from the very first book, and this final instalment is every bit as action-packed, intriguing and at times, heartbreaking as its predecessors.
Arielle and Cav make the perfect couple with their shared past and human imperfections too. Cav has always been plagued by his less than stellar reputation for dating “barely legal” women and his aversion to anything resembling commitment (but that special someone has just never crossed his path), while Arielle is recovering from the loss of the man who was supposed to be her forever love and looking for stability and familiarity in her old hometown.
Literally thrown together after a less than ideal event has rocked the small rural town of Rose, Texas; Arielle and Cav find that feelings shared, but never voiced as teenagers, are still alive and simmering in their damaged souls. So, determined to prove he is capable of monogamy, and craving to live again after she thought her heart destroyed, these exceptional and devoted couple embark on a relationship neither believed possible. But a dangerous occupation and terrorists with an agenda ensure that Arielle and Cav’s love will be tested in the most fundamental ways.
Emotion runs high in this latest book, with Cav’s unresolved issues and Arielle’s fear of future loss; but together they are resolute in their commitment to each other and the life that awaits if they just give it a chance. Cav’s psychological issues are dealt with tastefully and Arielle is believable as a young widow wanting to experience life again. The storyline is nicely paced and the emotions, action and romance all blend together in a realistic timeline. So, while it’s bittersweet to see this series end, I have no doubt that Ms Petrova has something equally exciting planned for 2020.
Book six in the Ranger Ops series a well written story with a very good storyline the story flowed smoothly from page to page. Arielle Jackman is a widow who has moved to her favorite Texas town to teach grade eight students. She meets Cavanagh/Cav Wraggs at a park cleanup program. I enjoyed reading their story there is suspense, drama, danger, bombs, twists, turns, villains, and romance. I hope there is more to come in this series. Steamy romance. Cav and Arielle has been at middle school together once upon a time, and one of her many projects leads her back to her one time crush.
Loving military and law enforcement folk is never easy. Having lost her first husband in Iraq. Arielle isn’t sure her heart can take it. Some things just might be worth the risk.
It’s all down to the WMD! This is the last of the Ranger Ops series, and boy oh boy, was it worth the wait. Em did a fabulous job throughout the series letting the reader get to know a bit about each of the guys along the way (both before and after ‘their’ book). Cav is the Hero here, and he is completely awsome: strong, HOT, built like a brick wall, smart, funny, caring, protective, passionate, tender…shall I continue or you got the picture? Arielle is a teacher in Rose, TX. She returned there after her husband’s death, as she really had no formal ‘home’ (Army brat). She and Cav had attended school there briefly as kids before his father moved them away.
After a bomb disarming goes south, Cav is suggested community cleanup as a way to get his mind on other things. It is st the park, cleaning, that he runs into Arrielle. She is more beautiful than ever, but has the same amazing eyes! She immediately remembers him too, and they start getting to know eachother again.
Cav and Arrielle are doing well in their renewed relationship when work butts in. He has to leave her sooner than he wants. Sooner but satisfied! She is hearing warnings, but ignores them. When she gets a message from him she hears Ranger Ops in the background. More bells!! It is when he finds her at the park that she tells him they are a no go. Period.
Completely heartbroke, aching, and alone, he shows up at Jesse’s – drunk. After getting through the story to Jesse & Avery, Cav is determined to prove Arielle wrong!
The battlefield has been determined, and sides stated. Find out which of these VERY stubborn individuals will win this showdown. (And just what kind of weaponry they plan to use. )

Cav is the last in his special Ops team to be single. He drifts from one, one night stand to the next never going back for seconds. After he fails to defuse a bomb, which kills two innocents he is required to attend Therapy. Its suggested to get out of his head to volunteer for community projects and that’s where he finds her again. Arielle has moved to the one small town where she ever really felt like she was home. Being an army brat she moved everywhere never having a real home but Rose is the place for her. She has experienced loss loosing her husband in Iraq she keeps busy with hobbies and projects to fill her time and keep the memories at bay. A chance meeting with the boy from her youth is she willing to leave the safe routine she has built for possible love. Full of adventure, edge of your search excitement, wonderful character and the great team of special Ops, I loved this book. And seeing the bad boy of the group fall to his knees for this woman.

Very good story. So full of excitement and danger. We don’t always get to go on their jobs but we get to see how it could be coming home. Very well written. loved it. I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving a honest review.
The intense suspense will have you glued at the pages in this newest release that doesn’t disappoint. I loved move some good military romance read and this was better than most. The characters sizzle as they come together during some dangerous time that has both of their lives in danger, but the hearts wants what the hearts want and I’m glad that they find their HEA. Great storyline and likable main and secondary characters made this a must read.
I just loved this wonderful read. Cav and Arielle’s romance really tugged at my heartstrings as this beautiful and moving tale unfolds. These characters were realistic, relatable and genuine. I thought that it was as easy as breathing to like, sympathize with and root for these two. The story line is engaging and very easy to get pulled into. If you are looking for a book that can give you a serious case of “The Feels”, you can stop looking because this one will do the trick.
Arielle is back in Texas. She wants roots. She is a teacher but also a widow. Cav has watched his team fall in love and is bound and determined that will not be him.
Cav’s therapist has suggested he help with the park cleanup to get his mind off what happened. Arielle is so excited to be involved with the park cleanup. Cav can’t believe he is seeing Arielle again after all these years. Arielle is excited to see Cav and go with him for coffee.
Arielle realizes that Cav is military and can’t go there again. Cav has his work cut out for him.
The team is working on how to stop a bomb maker. Cav has already missed one. When it comes down to crunch time, will they figure it out?
Em Petrova has done it again with this book. Arielle has had enough of men with dangerous military occupations; after all, that’s why she’s a widow. But Cav is part of her past and there was a mutual crush – but can she set herself up for heartbreak and loss again? Cav on the other hand is overjoyed to see Arielle again and he’s ready to find what his Ranger Ops friends have, but her hesitance has to come between them. Let me tell you, this story has it all – heat, emotion, and on-the-edge-of-your-seat tension. As always, too, the characters are unique and relatable – and people you’d like to meet. All in all, this is a book not to miss.

Arielle is a school teacher and a widow of a military man. Cav is a member of the Ranger Ops team, who is an expert in diffusing explosive devices. There is a deep attraction between them, but Arielle is scared to be with another guy in a dangerous field. Cav is going to have to pull out all of the cards to convince her to give them a chance, which is proving more difficult because he keeps getting called out on missions. Can Arielle learn to deal with the dangerous nature of Cav’s job, or will it be too much for her to handle? I love these books by Em Petrova because they are packed full of some serious action that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Clearly, she has done her research in regards to the inner workings of special forces and covert missions, given the interesting details that she shares. Plus, she writes some pretty hot scenes in the bedroom.
