Arielle Jackman grew up as an Army brat—and then she became an Army wife. Now she’s widowed and looking for something she’s never had… roots. Back in her favorite Texas town, she’s teaching middle-schoolers, and since she and her husband never had any, she considers them all her kids. But the evenings are lonely, and Arielle’s wondering if she should get out and make some friends. Then friendship … friendship finds her again, in the form of an old childhood acquaintance, Cavanagh Wraggs.
Known as a weapon of mass destruction for the Ranger Ops team, Cav is always neck-deep in danger. He hates admitting that he’s struggling to deal with the stresses of the position, especially after a strike goes sideways—and he’s responsible. As a way to take his mind off things, he volunteers at a park cleanup program, but finds another distraction in a very sexy Ms. Jackman as she bends over to pick up trash. Talk about hot for teacher. Then he recognizes the big soft brown eyes of the girl he once knew and is instantly hooked.
As things heat up and Arielle begins to let go of her past, she’s smacked in the face to learn the sweet-talkin’ muscled man is part of a special ops team. Her heart can’t take the military life a second time around, especially knowing how it could end. Now Cav is facing some harsh choices—lose the job and team he loves or the woman who makes him happier than he’s ever imagined. Maybe, just maybe, he can find a way to keep it all.

An intense romance with a ton of intrigue!
Arielle was a new teacher at her old middle school where she’d met Cav all those years ago. Neither one had ever forgotten the other and when they ran into each other again there was a connection between them neither one could ignore. But after everything Arielle has been through, she doesn’t think she can get involved with another military man. And although he’s no longer in the military, per se, he is still in danger with his job. Sometimes though, you just have to accept things the way they are to finally be happy.
This book is so intense that I couldn’t put it down! But it is so very good! It’s the sixth book in the Ranger Ops series and is amazing!

Arielle is looking for roots in the town she only spent one year in. She’s a middle school teacher and a widow. Arielle and her now dead husband never had children so she considers the children at school her children.
One day while doing clean-up at a local park with the staff and kids from school, she runs into an old friend, Cav.
Now Cav is in a super secret group, which he cannot talk about, even though he wants to tell Arielle. When a mission goes wrong, his shrink tells him to do volunteer work and gives him the address to the park as a way to get him out of his head. When he gets there, he sees Arielle but doesn’t know it’s her until she turns around. He is dumbfounded by the way that she grew into such a beautiful woman. Likewise, Arielle is stunned to see Cav and just how big and muscled he is.
Now Arielle has told herself that under no circumstances would she get involved with another military man, but her heart says something else entirely.
Will they be able to get what they each want out of life? There are hard choices to make if they are to succeed.
Ms. Petrova you have another hit on your hands.

Out Of Range is hot as hell and definitely held me totally captivated! Arielle and Cav along with this incredible storyline kept my heart racing, and had me holding my breath all during this awesome page turner! The dynamic circumstances along with their smoking hot chemistry is so well written you feel like your actually there in the book along with them! This is absolutely an amazing book that you won’t be able to put down so don’t pass it up! I loved it!
Cav and Arielle
I couldn’t put it down. This was pretty fast paced and had a lot of action with enough information to keep me riveted. I felt the depth of emotions their ops put them through and the worry and frustration their significant others felt while waiting on them to come back. Oh, but when Cav did get back to Arielle, it was Hot and Adventuresome.
The the tables turned, Cav knew then what it felt like to be the worrier. They both understood that their love was worth it. That was so sweet. Where would we be if we didn’t have our heroes? Whether they’re military, police, firefighters and teachers, all are needed.
With the threat being local, and involving school children, it was pretty intense reading for me. I do wish there would’ve been a bit more about the bomber and his reasons. For closure, maybe?
Still an excellent, captivating read and I loved it. A stand alone within a series
Arielle and Cav knew each other in eighth grade after both of their families moved away they both moved back to town as adults, and strike up a relationship. There are complications that Arielle has to deal with in order to move forward with Cav. A heartfelt story line with likable characters.

This is the sixth story in the Ranger Ops series. You could read it as a stand-alone story, but I would recommend that you read them in order. These stories are about the tight-knit group of special Ranger Ops and the women who make them whole. Each story introduces you to one of the men and the woman who completes that man. You get to revisit with the other members, male and female, of the group as they get together.
This story starts when the guys are called out to disable a bomb that is set too close to a middle school full of teachers and students. There is only one way out and the bomb is there. This is a different type of bomb than the guys have seen before, which also includes some top-secret materials that make C-4 look like playdoh.
Arielle is a school teacher who was an Army brat and was able to spend some time in this very same town and school when she was younger. After getting married to a military man and moving all around, then losing her husband to war she goes back to the one place that felt like home, Rose, Texas. Since she hasn’t had any children, she considers all of them to be hers. She remembers back when she went to school here, she had a friend, Cav, who she lost contact with and misses him. When she sees him again, hubba hubba, but she refuses to have a relationship with another military man. She doesn’t want to go through that heartache again when they don’t come home.
Cavanagh has been the player of the group, razzing the guys when they fall for their women. He has to have the young twits that he doesn’t see more than once. When he comes up against a bomb he doesn’t know how to defuse, in front of a middle school, he was able to detonate it in an area that was supposed to be secure. When two hikers die because of the bomb, he has to go through counseling and it doesn’t help. When he volunteers to help clean up a local park, he runs into Arielle again. They were best friends when they were in middle school, at this very same school. They both went their ways and didn’t keep in touch. When he finds that he needs to be around her, he ends up fighting the pull for more than one night that he was used to. Then he has to fight against her being with a military man again. He couldn’t tell her what his job was since it is covert.
They think they have the bomber in custody when there is a new bomb, on a bus with school children and Arielle on it.

Cav is in the Ranger Ops. He is helping clean up a park when he sees Arielle his high school crush. He knows he wants to get to know her better. Arielle is a widow whose husband died in Iraq. She doesn’t want another man who’s in the service. I really enjoyed this book.

Ok can this series be any HOTTER!!! Phew my poor e-reader is smokin’. I adore Ranger Ops. I read this book so fast and furiously that the end came way to soon. I am just so sad that this is the last of the series.
Cavanagh Wraggs is the last of the Ranger Ops who is not in a relationship with a woman. He is the Weapon of Mass Destruction. His knowledge to defuse a bomb is PRICELESS. When he fails to defuse a bomb and two hikers are killed, he is forced to seek counseling. He is given a card with an address to a park. There he helps clean up the park and finds an old friend there, Arielle. He went to school with her before his mother moves them away. Cav had a crush on Arielle and is instantly attracted to her again. The road to Cav and Arielle’s HEA is one that shouldn’t be missed.
This is a spicy read and I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone over the age of 18. I hope that she comes up with another Op team (say in the west is time!!!) This can be read as a stand-alone but why would you? Start at the beginning of the series to be the full benefit of the team and the complete hotness of the men (what can I say but as a woman, I fell in love with these guys!)
An absolutely fantastic book six in the Ranger Ops series! It is an on the edge of your seat read with a riveting storyline that is action-packed with drama, danger, emotions, angst, and much more. The characters are amazing, broken, but good for each other; the chemistry between them is intense. Definitely recommended!

The last ranger to get his story and it doesn’t disappoint. This second chance at love will squeeze at your heart. Packed full of twists, turns, action and intense chemistry this story will keep you on the edge of your seat. Another fabulous read by this author.

As with all of the Ranger Ops books, this is a fast paced, action filled, romantic story. Cav is the last of the team to find his mate. He’s the team’s explosive expert and they have a serial bomber trying to make a statement by threatening the middle school children. A mission went off and a couple of hikers were killed and Cav is taking it hard. So to refocus on something else he volunteers for a community beautification project. He reconnects with a woman from his past that just happens to teach at the middle school. They get close really fast and fit so well together. It’s like they never spent much time apart. Conversations are easy, being together is comfortable and intimacy is out of this world. She lost her husband in the army and Cav’s job scares her to death. Question is can she calm her fears and give them a chance for a wonderful life or will she send him packing to save her heart. These books are so engaging and the characters are well defined. They are realistic in that they all have their fears, their jokes and their loves. Don’t miss out on these wonderful characters and the high stakes missions they work through. I requested an advanced reader copy from Booksprout and am under no obligation to leave this review.
Emotional, soul-searching, military romance…
Once burned (horribly) by love, Arielle went home to recover and be surrounded by familiarity. Meeting Cav again after so many years, was a very welcome blast from the past. Cav knew the moment they met up again Arielle would be trouble. Little did they both know how true that was… With their chemistry leading the way, and their hearts not far behind, it became a struggle of mind over everything else. And that struggle? Well, it was everything I hoped it would be…
Strong characters, emotion-filled plots and a good dollop of steam, hit all the right reading spots in this latest in this must-read series…
*I happily reviewed this story

He has a new mission and will not stop until she is his
Out of Range is the sixth and final book in the Ranger Ops series and it was a delight to read. The story of Arielle and Cavanagh (Cav) is sweet and poignant even when there is suspense and danger. Cav is part of the Ops team whose members have found their women, fallen hard and settled down. But he is haunted by an operation that went wrong which has caused PTSD. Plus he is determined that he will not settle down. But what he is determined to avoid hits him smack in the face, and other places, in the form of one curvy woman named Arielle.
Arielle has moved to Rose, Texas, where she once lived as a child, to start again. She grew up as an Army brat and married a service man the did not come home. In her new home town she is a teacher and is determined to not get involved with another man in service, as there is just too much heartbreak and loneliness.
One day while both are volunteering to clean up a park they meet. It turns out that they both went to school together and he used to have a crush on her plus she remembers him also. They start slowly by having a coffee and things seem to progress from there. But Arielle does not know that Cav is an Army Ranger until he is called away for a mission. When he gets back Arielle has made up her mind that she cannot be in a relationship with him. But he is a Ranger who knows what the target is……….Arielle in his arms and his bed. He is a man who will not give up easily and will battle her until the objective is completed.
This was a lovely last book in the series that I enjoyed reading. I would recommend this series to others also.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Awesome!!
A romantic story full of suspense, love and second chances.
Arielle is a widow, her husband was killed while on mission so she doesn’t another soldier in her life. Or does she?
He was her high school sweetheart and now he is serving, too.
Will their love survive or they decided is too risky.
Great story and you will be rooting for them.

Out of Range is the sixth book in the Ranger Ops series, but reads well as a stand alone. When one of Cav’s missions goes sideways, he uses volunteer work to help take his mind off the stress. When he runs into Arielle, an old friend from their childhood, he quickly realizes he wants to spend as much time with her as possible. But will the stress and danger of his job drive them apart before she even gives him a chance?
I really enjoyed reading this book and loved the connection between Cav and Arielle. This book hit a little close to home for me, as I’m a military spouse, so I loved some of the emotions that Arielle had to work through and realize what was most important in her life. I loved her courage and the way that she wanted to help other ladies in a similar situation, too! Cav was brave and all alpha male, but I loved how he responded to the dangers around his job and Arielle, too. There’s a ton of passion that builds between the two of them, as well as a true bond you can practically feel between the pages. The danger in this book also had me hooked and I was so curious about the bombs! I really enjoyed this book, loved Cav and Arielle, and look forward to more from Ms. Petrova!
Out of Range is a fast-paced, suspenseful read with great characters. It pulled me in and kept my attention until the end. I can’t wait to read the next book.

OMG, what a heart pounding, exciting and suspenseful read. I LOVE Ms Petrova’s stories they never disappoint. This was was exceptional and I hated to see it end. The Ranger Ops team is like a family, they live and fight hard but love harder and when they fall it’s forever! Cav is the bomb specialist on the team and when they are called to the middle school because of a bomb threat, Cav is called to defuse it. Only problem is this is unlike any he has ever seen. He gets it away from the school and into a ravine when it detonates. The children are safe,, but two hikers are killed. Arielle teaches at the school, but keeps to herself ever since her husband, a military man, died while on a mission. She has promised herself to never get involved with a military man again. Then she runs into Cav, an old friend from grade school. They go out for coffee and things are looking good between them, then she discovers he’s military. What an awesome storyline and the characters are captivating, intriguing and so damn hot! I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series. Hope there are more to come!

When you decide that fear will no longer hold you captive, poop happens! Cav may be reaching his mission saturation point. Needing a way to destress, he volunteers at a park cleanup and is attracted to Arielle as she bends over. Once he recognizes her, he’s a gonner. Sadly, Arielle is not only a military brat, she’s a Gold Star widow. Cav, usually dated women that fed his commitmentphobia. They realize they knew each other in highschool. Worse, when Arielle learns Cav is military. She’s done with the constant TDYs & PCSs! Cav realizes he has a lot of work to do to get Arielle to engage. Then real life steps up and they both have a dose of reality. Can Cav find a way to keep his beloved job and his beloved woman? Can Arielle find the strength to have a relationship with Cav? Can Cav perform a save that means more than all previous ones? Can Cav finally beat the terrorists? Good story. Ms Petrova rocked this series!
