Sometimes broken hearts need whiskey. Sometimes they need music. Other times, only a night with a stranger will soothe the pain. On the night Isaac and I met, we tried all three. When it was over, we went our separate ways. We planned to never see each other again, but I should really know by now that plans don’t work out the way they’re supposed to. It has been four years since that night, and … has been four years since that night, and it’s a bizarre twist of fate that lands me in need of help only Isaac can give.
I don’t want to be attracted to him, but I am.
I don’t want my heart to skip a beat when it sees him, but it does.
And I really don’t want him to look at me that way, but he won’t stop.
Because things aren’t like they were four years ago. And this time? We don’t have the option of parting ways when the sun comes up.

I truly recommend this book. Everything started when two broken souls decided to spend one hour together, just one night-stand. Four years later, they find each other in a unpredictabel situation. I really love this book. It[s so easy to read and fall in live with the characters. I could read it over and over and I will never be tired of this story.
First off I have to say that this is one of those books you love to hate because the heroine is such a biatch. She is rude and obnoxious and she has no regard for others feelings and her secrets well let’s just say that the secrets really irritated me. I understood she had abandonment issues with her mother leaving her but that did not give her the right to ask like a spoiled little biatch.
Aubrey has meet the man of her dreams Isaac who is a doctor and he is loving and caring and so much more. They have this great chemistry and share one night together that is simply amazing and then she is gone. She leaves Isaac and does not see him until five years later.
In the five years she has a huge secret she needs to tell Isaac and when she does she is worried about his reaction but the way he handles her secret really had my heart skipping a beat because I want a man like that. Isaac really loves Aubrey and he is willing to do anything for her but she is such a biatch to him and it all stems from her mother abandoning her.
So yes I liked this book but the main character really had me on the edge of my seat yelling at my kindle wanting to punch through it to her because she needed a good arse kicking so she can act right!
This is a wonderful book. The characters are so real. There are not enough words for me to tell you how I really feel about it. FANTASTIC READ
Our Finest Hour is a beautiful and emotional read that is sure to pull at your heartstrings. The characters are beautifully flawed yet totally relatable. Aubrey and Isaac each wanted a moment to let loose and forget about their troubles. One moment turned into an hour that would forever change both of their lives. Five years later they end up back in each other’s lives and both of them are taken quite by surprise. I loved watching both of their walls come down as they learned to trust what was right in front of them. Isaac was incredibly patient though determined once he realized what he wanted. My heart broke for Aubrey when she decided to face the ghost of her past. Admittedly I laughed, cried, and then swooned while reading this book. The journey of self discovery these amazing characters take you on will put your emotions through the wringer and then leave you with a smile. A definite must read if you enjoy entertaining, captivating and emotional reads!
I absolutely loved this beautiful story!
I was gifted an ARC copy for an honest review.
I received an advanced copy of this book and in turn am leaving my honest review. This is the beautifully told story of a heartbroken young lady, named Aubrey. She suffers a few hardships in her life and has trouble overcoming them. One night she decides to throw caution to the wind. She goes out to a bar with her best friend, and roommate Britt Pomeroy where she meets Isaac Cordova. Meeting Isaac changes her life in more ways than she could ever imagine. Remarkable story of hurting, healing and love. The ending was absolutely perfect and makes you crave for more from the future from both Aubrey and Isaac’s story.
Loved reading Our Finest Hour! After being dumped over the phone on April Fools Day, Aubrey decides to go out to a local bar with her friends instead of staying home and wallowing in her misery. As she’s leaving the bar, she meets Isaac, who convinces her to spend 1 hour with him, an hour were she can forget about her pain. Even tho they have an instant attraction to one another, they decide not to exchange anything but first names. When they accidentally run into each 5 years later, Aubrey has a very unexpected surprise for Isaac…a surprise that will change his life forever! Must read for romance lovers!
