The #1 New York Times Bestseller (October 2017) from the author of The Da Vinci Code. Robert Langdon, Harvard professor of symbology, arrives at the ultramodern Guggenheim Museum Bilbao to attend the unveiling of a discovery that “will change the face of science forever.” The evening’s host is Edmond Kirsch, a forty-year-old billionaire and futurist, and one of Langdon’s first students. But the … Langdon’s first students.
But the meticulously orchestrated evening suddenly erupts into chaos, and Kirsch’s precious discovery teeters on the brink of being lost forever. Facing an imminent threat, Langdon is forced to flee. With him is Ambra Vidal, the elegant museum director who worked with Kirsch. They travel to Barcelona on a perilous quest to locate a cryptic password that will unlock Kirsch’s secret.
Navigating the dark corridors of hidden history and extreme religion, Langdon and Vidal must evade an enemy whose all-knowing power seems to emanate from Spain’s Royal Palace. They uncover clues that ultimately bring them face-to-face with Kirsch’s shocking discovery…and the breathtaking truth that has long eluded us.

Exceptional!
Amazing informative wonderful plot and terrific science. You won’t be able to put it down.
Dan browns usual stuff, very readable
Enjoyed every page. Made me think about how we use our technology for the good and bad.
Typical Dan Brown. Loved it.
As always, Dan Brown’s books are a fast and easy read… the characters interesting and well thought out and story lines plausible, if tending to be very similar with the last few books. He is one of my favorite authors so I always grab his books first before any others… which tells how I feel about his books. This one was no exception… I enjoyed it very much.
Great characters
Good book, similar to his others
I wanted to like this more. I’ve never been disappointed with a Langdon story and while this wasn’t exactly a disappointment, I felt like the story was drowned in all the extensive detail given on art, art history, philosophy, religion, science, AI…these are all very robust subjects and Mr. Brown presented the information in such a way that kept me hooked. Still…to have them all play such a huge role…took me out of the plot more than I wanted to be. Won’t stop me from being in line for Langdon 6, of course.
Not his best work, but i will keep reading his books. I love his ideas, but his editing is bad. I thoigjt he could of found something better for langdon to figure out than an ai destroying the religions of this world.
True to Dan Brown never let’s you down .All was living you with something to ponder on.
Great story with an up to date story line. Many twists and turns. A good read.
Loved it!
A good read, follows Dan Brown’s formula, religious conspiracy, great description of European art history, a smart and sexy sidekick that serendipitously gets thrown together with the main character, but set in a new country and culture which was fun to learn about through a page turner techno thriller.
Not as engaging as the other books
good book
I was disappointed by this book. I have read all previous works by this author. This book is simply a rehash and not a very good one. I do not recommend it and wish I had not purchased it.
What a fun read! Didn’t want it to end. Love the research that goes into his books. Paid full price…worth every penny! Buy it! Read it! Enjoy it!
Another great Dan Brown book. Very thought provoking.
Although this books revelation isn’t a new concept, Dan Brown’s twists and turned make it an exciting read. Very bold and surprising as is expected of Dan Brown. Bravo!
