Welcome to Breakbattle Academy. The first school of its kind where survival of the fittest is not a saying, it’s your reality.Ruled by those who are elite in name, beauty, and cunning; Breakbattle takes the war of the classes to a whole new level. The next four years of my life will be a fight the likes of which I can’t yet comprehend, but first I have to survive orientation week. The Elite Class … orientation week.
The Elite Class has plans for me. They will test me until I break, but there is nowhere for me to run.
Secrets and lies lurk beneath the made-up facade, and I don’t mean Breakbattle.
I mean me.
There is something that I have to do. There is someone that I’m after. He doesn’t know that I’m coming. He doesn’t know who I am. But nothing will stop me from seeing my plans through.
Not my family. Not the Elite Class. Not the pesky fact that I’m a girl.
Breakbattle’s all-boys campus is getting a new student. Don’t call me Zela.
Call me Zeke.
Orientation Week is a contemporary reverse harem high school bully romance. This is the prequel and features language, dark themes, and sexual scenes. If you’re cool with that, dive in!

I don’t know how I didn’t realize this before starting this book, but this is a spin off (kind of) of the Evergreen Academy series. Since I happened to have loved that series, this makes me very happy and eager to read the whole series. This book is apparently a prequel of sorts to the series, but it’s available with Prime Reading and I wanted to give it a try.
There is definitely a mysterious aspect to the story. There’s something going on that even at the end of the book I’m wondering about. This is also another prep school where there seems to be some dark and devious things going on. I’m loving the way the main character seems to want to tear down the system before we even know what it is. It seems as if this series will have some very real feminine strength themes, as well as some equality themes.
I’m wondering if this will end up being reverse harem as the Evergreen books were, or if it will merely be dark romance. Either way, I was entertained and left wanting, so I will be getting my hands on the other books as soon as possible.
Wow!!! I wasn’t sure what to expect from this book when I first started it especially since the author is newer to me, but wow it definitely didn’t disappoint. At first, I was super confused about everything. But at the end, I’m left with so many questions and I’m definitely shocked!!! Can’t wait to read the next book!!!
In this first book in a new series we get to meet the main players and establish their main character points. The plot is a bit different and it can be slightly dark at times. It’s a well written book that makes me want to read more in the series.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I don’t know where to start Ruby Vincent has done an awesome good Mystery Evergreen Academy Series which is completely my favorite book series and now she does it again I’m speechless
Zela is a girl who has traveled around the world with her mother because her mother is a writer
She has a home school no friends because they never stay for long time in one place.
The only friend is her mother’s sister’s daughter Jordan
She returns home and also decides to go to school for the first time
Strong in mathematics, she needs a special school to further develop it,
but she decides to go to a boys ‘school undercover as well as where the level of learning success is
No one knows the real reason why she does it
When she arrives at school Zela can’t even imagine what awaits her there
Not only does she need to dress up as a boy or socialize,
and act like a boy, here is so much more
This is a school where you have to take different tests to get a better grade
It’s not just a matter of subjects but the student has to do a lot of physical like wrestling and swimming, running, basketball, etc. You have to compete with others to become the best class
An elite class has only privileges that have rights do what they want,
so getting there is not that easy
Each grade is split into six classes. There is the F Class, D Class, C Class, B Class, A-Class, and Elite
Overall: I enjoyed this book from start to finish I never had the feeling that,
It was boring to read and quit there was something happening all the time
Dark and twisted
Thank you!
Her feet are finally coming to a standstill after globe trotting with her mother across twenty six countries as she was home schooled.
She has her eyes on Breakbattle Academy to finish her schooling, buuut can she play the part, and become the oposite of what she truly is…
Oh my god, What an amazing start to a new series!!
I couldn’t read this book fast enough! I wanted to know every little detail. I wanted to see every little complicated exchange of looks, and I was desperate for her acceptance after everything she was going through.
Zee shocked me with her ability to blend into a world that she had no idea about. She was like a human camelian!
The reletionships with her peers fascinated me as her body and mind were on two very different pages.
I’m completely and utterly hooked and quietly smitten with one or two of the characters! I cant wait to see what happens once summer is over!!
Ruby vincent stole my virginity and oh my lordy lord! what a book to lose it on!!
This is one academy EVERYONE needs to know about, that’s for sure!
