This isn’t your typical “how to organize” book, the author tells the story of a time during her life and intersperses oranizing tips. Enjoyed reading it and gave me an understanding of what the clutter can mean in our life.
This is a very motivating book. It gives a fresh look at how to reevaluate your life, what you have, what you do, & are they what is best for you.
Really enjoyed her ideas on moving. Also recycling as you are paring down.
Totally enjoyed it !
Good questions posed to help you think about why organizing your life and resetting your goals will help you simplify your life.
The author had a great job and worked with a caring group of people who were her friends, but eventually she realized that the job itself was bad for her. The book tells about her journey finding a solution. I liked it because it all rang so true, and I could identify with the writer as she described the struggles she had with reframing her life. The last part of the book contained good information, but it was sort of a mess. It made me think the author and her helpers all ran out of time in getting the book out, and nobody edited that part of the book. I still was left with positive feeling, however, and I’m glad I read it.
Shared with a friend in transition of occuation. Helpful to her and to me with concrete suggestions and guidance.
“Organizing Her Life” was a very interesting book to read and enjoy. I like books about organizing and reading new ideas, and this one also gave the story of her life’s career changes, taking risks I would have never taken ( not a good comparison, as I loved my job before retiring). Whether the right thing to do or not, it worked out very well, and having the support of her husband and family, even though they were hesitant in the beginning, was so very fortunate.
This is an entertaining account of the authors experiences with principles we can all apply to our own situations. A good read, whether you need advice or not.
Loved this book and it is helping me so much with organizing and getting rid of clutter in my house!
I enjoyed this book. I thought I was reading a book about decluttering. I didn’t realize that the was also a story involved. I enjoyed following the journey of downsizing.
Great book, getting some decluttering done now. Thanks.
My house is a disfunctional mess, so I needed a constructive plan to de tangle from top to bottom, my disorganized house, and turn it back into my cozy lovable home. I had to see if this book held promise. The blurb made it sound like just what I needed. For the most part, it gave me a direction and a path to take and get started. I’m still working on my chaos, but I’m only halfway through my home sweet home.
I enjoyed this book because it had so many things I could really relate to. The organizing was taught by the telling of her story and by example rather than like a text book. She has quit a story,
With a personal story leading you to follow your passion in life, as well to be more organized.
I enjoyed this book and got lots of hints on getting rid o clutter.
Realistic in how she not only gave the good but also the not so good of her decisions.
Im pretty organized anyway but this book had a lot of suggestions that I hadnt thought of myself.
Great book good ideals.
Very motivational book about the author’s journey to a life she loves, with wonderful ways to get to that place of organization for yourself.
