Homeland Security investigators Felix Jbarra and Pope Dades are about to work their first big case as partners. Someone is creating counterfeit government documents and selling them through a site similar to the old Silk Road which was shut down years ago. As they dive into the case with the help of their friends at the FBI and LAPD, Felix and Pope realize the Dark Web site is selling more than … than documents. It’s selling death.
When a man connected with the website turns up murdered, it’s all hands on deck and with so many letter agencies involved in this case, coordinating all parties is bound to be a challenge. When yet another agency unexpectedly gets involved, their bosses would find it laughable if it wasn’t so damned dangerous.
Felix and Pope are getting used to being partners but they are well-trained professionals who must learn to trust each other at work as well as at home. When a bomb almost kills them, they have no choice but to shorten that learning curve. From the mean streets of Hollywood to unfamiliar places on the Dark Net, our heroes put themselves in danger every moment, trying their best to protect innocents while keeping each other alive.
Order and Anarchy contains an exciting excerpt from Crime and Chaos Book 3!

Another wonderful read from Ms Logan. I love Pope and Felix together. At work they have each other’s back, and at home they burn the sheets. Life has somewhat settled for Pope Dades since he started working at DHS agency. He has a decent team, a boss who will stand up for him and a partner he can trust. Not only that, his work partner is someone he can easily fall in love with. He is scared witless because of it. But it seems inevitable – how can Pope resist Felix’s beautiful body, sunny personality and sharp mind?
Felix Jbarra has it good. A new partner is great, his rapport with his team is excellent, and coming back home has never been sweeter. But one dark cloud is hanging over his head – he still can’t tell his religious family that he is falling in love with a man. And not just any man but his work partner Pope Dades. But the more he thinks on it, the more he sees that he can’t imagine his life without Pope in it. Pope is everything he has ever wanted in a partner. And soon he will have to come out and let the chips fall where they may.
I love them together. They are passionate, at times sweet and so well-matched in and out of bed. They just click. They know when to push and when to let go. It takes jealousy over ex-lover to make Pope and Felix finally confess that what they feel for each other is more than simple crush. Jealous Pope was a sight to behold, and Felix just knew how to calm the man – it was gloriously hot!!!
The case brings all the letter agencies together. We see ATF guys, LAPD detectives, FBI and DHS agents make a blunder one after another. There were so many moments that made me chuckle. The dynamics between them is fun but when it comes to serious business, they make work look like a walk in the park. Lead after lead turns up a dead end, everybody is at their wits end but trusty informants, namely Francel Tomas who is a curious character I wouldn’t mind to read a story about, and diligent work turn up the culprit’s name. It was definitely a surprise as was the subsequent chase to catch them. I loved how agents worked together, how both Felix and Pope saw Thayne and Jarrett and Mac and Nico together unafraid of censure, how they saw that being seen like this will not be as bad as they might have thought was absolutely wonderful. It was fast-paced, steamy, thrilling and at times humorous story. I loved it and highly recommend it!
Order and Anarchy
By Patricia Logan
Main Characters: Pope & Felix
I voluntarily and honestly reviewed this book without bias or persuasion from the author.
5 out of 5 stars
Patricia Logan does it again. Fantastic book with lots of action, mystery, suspense, humor and great sex. I can’t even imagine all the work she must go through to come up with these fantastic stories. The amount of detail and research she puts into each book is amazing. Makes me wonder how she manages to come up with all the different plots. Guess that is why I will never be an author/writer. I absolutely love the banter between all the characters in this book and I laughed so hard at one of scenes with Felix & Pope I ended with a coughing jag. If you get the chance you should definitely read this new series. This is book 2 of a m/m contemporary romantic suspense series.
